I thought the campground was very nice. Clean Bathrooms and grounds were very nice. The road in and out was my only concern but had no trouble either way. Was nice location to the Creation Musum or the Ark Encounter and it was very quite for being close to the hwy. I would probably stay again, but in the fall when the temps are cooler and color's are brighter. The staff was all great there as well and made it a good time.

Deanna Rude

Nice place. It had showers and a store to buy needed items like toiletries and firewood. The people who work there were very friendly.

Lois Olson

Tent campsite was quiet and peaceful. I could see fireflies from my tent screen. Showers & bathroom were clean and air conditioned which was so lovely after the heat. Staff were efficient making checkup simple & quick after a long day at Ark Encounter. It was a good fit for what I needed for the one night I was passing through. Thank you.

Angela Nadeau

Gravel sites, close together. Make sure you do not go on the grass, that’s a no no, pool is in disrepair, so in other words, no pool. Staff is very accommodating when you need something.

We just left from a 3 night stay at Three Springs. We drive a 45' class A motorhome and pull a toad so my review reflects our equipment. This campground is tight and requires crossing two narrow concrete bridges on a turn, in and out. I can see this being very intimidating to someone who wasn't familiar or comfortable with their equipment yet. Yes, it's passible but this kind of feedback is what I found very helpful when we first started RV'ing. As stated, this campground does not offer full hookups. However, their dump station is in a very awkward place for a 45' rig. We were told not to block the drive, so we didn't even bother trying to dump on our way out as it would have blocked the drive. We utilized the honey wagon service offered, but this is where my 2 star review comes in. We needed the honey wagon service every day, and on the second day we were told by the front desk that "We already dumped it yesterday." to which my husband replied that we have a lot of kids and needed it again. Her reply? That we should really teach our kids how to conserve water while camping. We have a family of 7 and we drive a motorhome. We aren't camping. If I wanted to camp, I'd buy a huge tent for all of us and use the shower houses and bathrooms. You offer a service, I paid for it, and then was told how I shouldn't be using it every day? The gentleman who ran the service was very kind. The website states that the shower house had been recently renovated, however it absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke and I wouldn't use it if I had to. The creek is full of sludge, the pond is pitiful, the drive in is definitely sketchy but that's not necessarily unusual in my experience. One other review I read suggested that the creek and pond were part of the wastewater/sewer system at this park, and I wouldn't argue that. It was my first impression upon arrival, whether true or not. Park was full of families and the kids enjoyed hiking and playing with others. I just wasn't impressed. I feel like the website way oversold it and misrepresented quite a few areas. Should have done my research and looked around, as there are other places.

Janet Scartelli

Very, very primitive. Supposedly undergoing renovations. Remember before you book, no sewer or cable. No pool or activities. Just good for one night stay if needed. Left a day earlier.

Nice campground for the cost. Staff were friendly enough, guided us back to a back in spot and even assisted in the hookup. Got us a picnic table upon request. One dump station available. No local places to walk too and the grounds were wet when we were there. Ice and a small concession would have been nice since there's not many local amenities. Great place to stay if your just in the area to see the ark but make sure you have everything when you arrive.

Kristie Hall

Country camping at its finest! Staff was awesome. Chris was a great help with backing our rig. Quiet serene environment in woods. Saw lightning bugs at night 😊 watched rabbits play in grass! Would love to stay again!

Caryn Carper

The bathrooms had such a moldy smell that we avoided them. The staff were courteous, but definitely didn’t seem super friendly. Cute RV park otherwise

Bruce Williams

Staff was friendly. The actual campground was scenic and the WiFi worked great—we were next to the office. No sewer hookups. Had to wait in line for one dump station for everyone and forbade you to dump until you were ready to leave the park. If they are not going to provide individual dump sites, the least they could do is provide more than one dump station to expedite leaving the campground.

We have camped for years but never in Ky..The staff waited for us as.we.were late, only 20 minutes, due to so many traffic issues and were welcomed by Ann Marie..a kind friendly check in staff member. Our tent site was perfect. The campground itself is small but their hearts were huge to make things go well for us and all that stayed there. The bathrooms were so clean for 2 days then I am not sure what happened. CO Stanly running out of paper towel and toilet paper garbage over flows and Rachel stated that happens all the time..I stead of correcting the problem as she was the Main person.. maybe even the owner..she didn't have the best customer service but her staff did. It was a good place to relax even with all the daddy lo g leg spiders

Robert Shillinger

Obliged us with a overflow spot and a plug from there home. We were running late, but they waited for us. Bathroom need supplies, shower was warm.

Ron Wagner

Private eutopia. Perfect to visit in the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, and other nearby attractions. Water and electric hook up. I would call in advance for reservations. It's a popular place.

Patrick Williams

We had a lovely time at Three Springs Campground. We had the best site in the whole place!! It gave us a huge grassy field for our front yard. The hosts were friendly and helpful. This is the only place we have been that there is someone to help you park. Our dog was suffering some skin allergies at the time and they gave us some special soap to try and allowed us to wash him on their property. It is conveniently located near the Ark Encounter and the horse farms in Lexington.

Dallas Warman

Prepaid for a spot for 2 nights. We were going to arrive after their check in window because of traffic. Was told I had to camp somewhere else, they would not let me into my prepaid spot. No refund was given either. Customer service is horrible.

Kelly Pyle

Nice campground. Shuttle service is great. Live music by the pool.

Marcy Christensen

Great price, but super tight for our 38 ft 5th wheel. No sewer hook up, but a dump station on the way out. Beautiful place. Must be checked in by 7:00 pm. EST. I had to call because we made a wrong turn and were going to be late. They need more gravel so they don’t have to worry so much about ruts.

george hill

Nice people, nice clean restrooms and shower. Nice sites.

Jonathan Shafer

Affordable campground & bathrooms - worked well for tent camping near Ark. We send others to the Ark every year and will recommend 3 Springs to them.
