Courteoin. friendly staff, check in. Level, pull through. Quiet. Bathrooms comfortavle. Air Conditioning throughout. No pool, which is why I gave 4 stars.

Judith Mathew

This is a quiet clean camp. Several trails lead off the camping area. Very well kept. Would stay again just a little longer!!

Kathy D

Nice, small campground. Owners very friendly.

Anna Miller

Beautiful area, quiet, peaceful, perfect for relaxing. Conveniently located off interstate.

Steven Bowen

Nice and quiet little campground. Close to interstate. Staff friendly and helpful.

Cindy Sovastion

Lovely and peaceful campground. Pleasant staff and clean bath house. The dump station is not on level ground and no water hose to help flush out the black tank made emptying the tank difficult.

Kendall Favinger

I only gave one star because I had to, they deserved NO star! We will never stay at this campground again! We booked two nights with Rover and this campground did not honor it. She told us we never should have used Rover as they aren’t reliable. We had set up at the campground and gone on to the ARK Encounter. We had been in line for an hour, waiting to get in, when the campground owner called telling us we had to come back and move. No amount of begging would deter her, she said another camper was there already waiting for our spot. We got out of line, and drove all the way back to the campground. She had lied, there was nobody waiting. She had double booked our site and the people were part of a group of three campers coming in (second lie, as we spoke to them later and they didn’t know anyone on either side of them). Also, they never showed up until 4 that evening, PLENTY of time for us to have been able to stay for our ARK experience that we had driven over 1000 miles to see!!!

Connie Mills

I was very upset that they would not return the unused day, as I had to leave because my daughter passed away. Just plain heartless.

Tina King

Three Springs was an absolutely amazing 3 night stay for us. The location was centrally located to the Creation Museum and Noah's Ark which we visited as well as the Red River Gorge Arches hike that we did. We enjoyed the sparrow's nest tent campsite with the gazebo, firepit and close by water and restroom/showers that were very clean. Thank you Three Springs we will be back for sure!!

Shawn Barron

Very nice and clean campground. Owners were very nice and friendly. They even help everyone to back into their spot. It was quiet and not rowdy. We definitely would stay there again. Only about 15 minutes from the Ark encounter

Ronald Miller

Pro: Beautiful, quiet, comfortable, bathrooms clean. We stayed in cabin #2 for two nights. We did not smell cigarette smoke in the cabin or provided bed linens. Con: The men's and women's restrooms both had a strong smell of cigarette smoke (as did the office) every time any of our family used them. I'm glad we had a small ozone and negative ion generator we could plug in while showering so the smell would at least be better when finished with the shower. For asthmatics or hyper sensitive people, this will be a deal breaker.

Stayed only 2 nights, but really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere.

Kirby Brownfield

Very disappointed. Our expectations were vast, based on the advertisement of this campground. We work remote and based on their "wifi", we booked several days, thinking that we would have no difficulties. We received NO wifi service. No television service. No radio service. The firepit was beneath our awning. Barking dogs throughout. Very narrow road for entry and exiting. No 2 cars would make it. They recommended a "truck stop" for obtaining small grocery items and/or to grab a bite to eat. This truck stop was so full of trash/debris on the outside, we did not dare enter the premises. The sites at the campground are very close together, despite the amount of acreage they have. This may be a great place to go if you have no expectations and truly want to be 'off the grid'. If you are looking for a quiet place to be with family and/or work, we can not recommend it. We checked out after the first night, and were refused any financial refund for the rest of our week.

Campground Response

I am very sorry to hear that you were not pleased with your site. I am unsure how you ended up with a fire pit under your awning but first thing in the morning I will walk the sites and address that issue immediately since all of our fire pits are to the back of the sites, and right on the creek side. It shouldn't have been anywhere near your awning. As far as our WiFi is concerned, we advertise "Limited Free WiFi" since our new fiber optics are still being installed up the road and almost here! It will be a blessing to see more than 20mps (our current rating) speeds throughout the park when it is completed this season! Exciting times! Our minimum distance between sites is 14ft. Most sites in the "B" Row have 18-23ft between sites and all sites now have patios. We have a few park model Camper Rentals on both the A and B Row and each one gets radio stations, local tv channels (6-9 channels) and guests who have a SAT can get great reception as well. I am not sure why you were not able to get a signal on your radio, TV, or internet but again, I am truly sorry about that. I do have to stand behind our policy that if a guest leaves early, before check-in time the day of departure, we offer an On Hold Reservation Credit (OHRC), or rain-check, to use at a later date. We do not offer refunds after check-in. I hope you at least enjoyed the peace and quiet that our park afforded you while you were able to unplug. Safe travels and God bless.

William Graham

Very nice place, peaceful. Owner and wife very nice and helpful.

Nancy Hicks

Nice, clean little campground. The road in is narrow and there are some trashy houses along the road, but the campground is clean and well kept. If anyone is at the dump station it makes it difficult to exit the campground.

Old needs much updating. Rental RVs are dirty, stinky needs to be replaced. Smell of black tank while trying to cook and eat on the picnic table.

Cheri Howard

This campground was in a beautiful area of Kentucky. Our tent campsite was very secluded and gorgeous in the Walnut Grove area. However, it was very far away from the only restroom in the camp and there was no access to water at all. If you don’t mind a dry camp (except for the tremendous humidity) this would be ideal. We chose it for the proximity to the Ark Experience and the Creation Museum, which worked out very well. Though we booked it for 3 nights, we opted for a hotel the third night due to impending rain.

Jerry Johnson

Nice setting. Beautiful area. Clean facilities. The showers and restrooms smelled like cigarettes very strongly which was a big turn off. The dump station is in a very bad location and causes traffic in and out of the park to be blocked while dumping.

Pros: -Management was very friendly. -Shower facilities are very clean. -Employees were constantly out and about tidying the grounds. Cons: -False Advertisement! There was no dog park, nor was there even one under construction which is displayed on the campground map when booking. -False Advertisement! The pool is in such disrepair, that it is highly unlikely it will be opened at all. -The shower facilities, though clean, were not air-conditioned creating a hot and humid environment. -The campground is an extension of a trailer park. -The camper next door to our site was being lived in by an individual working 2nd shift, so every night we were awoken by him returning from work. -We decided to leave two days early when an individual not staying at the campground approached our camper to ask if the person living in the camper next to us was the person that stole $5,000 worth of tools from a job site after learning they lived in that campground. Would not recommend it. Very disappointing.

John Cornpropst

A great place to stay if you plan to visit the ark (about 10 miles away) and the Creation museum (about 60 miles away). Owners/staff were friendly and helpful and the campers were friendly- most were going to the ark/Creation museum! Sites were spacious (gravel) with fire pits and picnic tables. Electric/water at sites but no septic (dump tank at entrance/exit). The reason for only a 4- several of the sites (ours included) had water & power on the wrong side of the site which was unusual and a small hassle; however the owners were willing to help with extensions if needed.
