This campground was recommended to me by a friend who has camped here with her Good Sams Club. We had reservations to stay over Spring Break. When the President asked the nation to avoid unnecessary travel because of Covid 19, my family decided to respect his wishes. We contacted the campground to cancel our reservation and they wouldn’t refund our money. ALL of our reservations/tickets for our trip were gladly refunded by the businesses EXCEPT for this campground. I feel this is a poor business ethic. My friend who recommended 3 Springs Campground said that she would share her disappointment with her Good Sams travel club.

Dayna Mohr

Due to the pandemic and a National order to not travel unless essential, we weren’t able to stay as planned. We were not given our money back but instead told it would be held until we could reschedule. We will not be able to come at a different date. I tried to talk to the owner but was just repeated the policy over and over. That is a sorry way to do business. I will never stay here and will make sure to tell everyone my story.

Suzanne Emley

This campground was a very beautiful place to stay. It was a very relaxing five days for us. The owners were great and very helpful. They are working very hard to make improvements to their campground. The ark was closed when we were there but we plan on coming back to see it this fall and we will definitely stay here again.

Kit Vargas

Made a 1 night stop, decided to stay for 2. This is a great place to stay. No sewar, but it worked for us. The staff are excellent! Friendly & helpful. They are doing a lot of improving. We were there in March, but I an betting the spring/summer are beautiful. Sweet little creek right behind the camper. The road in is a little narrow, but don't let that put you off, paved blacktop. 10 minutes to the Ark Encounter. Would definitely stay again.

Clean bathrooms! Nice staff. Beautiful area nestled in the forest.

Rick or DeGraaf

Clean - efficient - no issues. Rachel and Dawn were very helpful.

Marysue Douville

People come in from dry camping and they would like to dump their sewage , charge up their battery to stay for a night and since they are staying we feel it doesn’t matter when we dump and she wanted to charge us extra .

Edna Messmer

Ditto on what others said about the entrance road. We are a small class C and were on the first site opposite the office. Back in and perfectly level. We are small (21 ft) and not too wide so the site was a good size for us. table and rock edged fire spot. Bathrooms look like they were just remodeled. Very clean and nice. Only downfall, the light is on a timer, and it shut off before I could dry off and get dressed from my shower. The hosts are helpful and nice. No laundry tho. I would stay again because it is so conveniently located to The Ark.

Carlton Conaway

This is a nice place, clean, and friendly. we have a Class A, having to use a dump site during the week is a slight draw back unless you want to pay to be emptied. The road is narrow but doable. Shorter than a week would have been better for us.

Ted Brickenden

We really enjoyed our stay! The owners and staff were very helpful and hospitable. This is a small campground, tucked into the countryside just off of Interstate I-75 near the Ark Encounter. Very quiet and peaceful and neat as a pin. Would stay here again if in the area. As other reviews have mentioned, the road in is one-way, but not an issue -just pay attention to the arrival and departure instructions from the campground. And be sure to pet the 27 year old cat...

Glenn Robertson

We usually camp at state parks, so this is my first rating for a privately owned campground. Overall a great stay with no issues. The staff was very nice and helpful. I did use the bathroom and showers and they were very clean. The park was small and quiet (my wife and I liked that). The only improvement that comes to mind would be wider parking pads. Due to the position of our camper on the gravel pad, we tracked a lot of dirt onto the floor. Adding about 3 more feet in width would be a big improvement. Other reviews mentioned the road coming into the park as being a problem. I must admit that it is very narrow and it might be a problem if 2 large motor homes or fifth wheels were required to pass, but there was very little traffic when we were there and the park was full. The large pot holes do need to be addressed although I don't believe it is the parks responsibility unless they own that park of road. I would visit again and would recommend it to my friends.

Kathleen Crouch

No laundry though website said otherwise. Awkward uphill dump station. Requested us to move on the day we are already at the Ark Encounter tough there were lots of empty spots. Just not very a place we would return to.

Leslie Turkelson

Friendly staff & quiet area HOWEVER..road coming into cpgd is very narrow, steep & has several large potholes..would be impossible to meet another rig on road..campground road has extremely narrow bridge areas with steep drop offs..not good at all for big rigs. Had to move to overflow area for one night w=no hookups, no sewer hookups in cpgd..overall. dump station on very narrow space....overall...not the greatest experience staying there!

Cindy Gaughan

Staff was great! We had to stay one night in the overflow because they were booked but we moved the next morning into a nice spot. The first night in overflow the staff helped us park and level off as much as we could! The campground itself is in the country and quiet. The only thing I would say is the road coming into the camp had some rough spots and it’s very narrow. We didn’t have any problems but had we met another unit coming/going it would of been an issue.

William Bilger

Nice park. Friendly, accommodating staff. Quiet Country setting. Wish they had sewer connections at the site. Only a dump station available. Some sites appeared to require extreme leveling. Our site (#7) was okay. Narrow one lane road to the park. Glad we didn’t meet a Class-A coming inbound as we were going outbound. We’d be trading paint. Will stay again if in the area.

Steve Bodette

Very friendly and helpful staff! Road access is extremely poor, huge holes and very narrow. Beautiful setting! Service peds are not placed well, awkward to have to run electric and water under the RV to the opposite side.

Les Visser

Very accommodating and friendly staff. This was in October when leaves were starting to fall. Obviously a cool place in the hot weather. No cable as advertised but got a number of stations on antenna. Met a few people who have park models- friendly.

Edward Tutko

Campground was very nice and quiet. The staff was very helpful. Facilities were clean. Only problem would be county road needs repair.

Roger Coutant

Nice, clean, quiet camp site. Staff was friendly and helpful. Roads to and within resort are a bit narrow. Our site had hookups on front side of camper instead of back, so we need longer cord/hoses. Not a big deal, but then cords/hoses were right across camper door. Long dry spell made sites less picturesque than they otherwise would have been. Live music Friday night was a nice touch. Restroom/showers were large and clean. I'd definitely stay here again.

Brad Perkins

Very nice. Narrow road going into campground.

Very nice and quiet campground. The bathroom and showers are nice and clean. The staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the musicians who played Friday night. I would definitely recommend to others.

Dick Brost

Owner was very nice and helpful. We have a 34ft pull behind and the roads are a bit tight

AL Davies

Very enjoyable campground. Close to the Ark Encounter. Bathroom / showers were great. Very friendly and helpful staff

Staff was wonderful!! Super friendly and helpful. Campground well cared for and the bathrooms were super clean, roomy and nice

Bonnie Jacobson

Nice, quiet campground. Staff help you get situated upon arrival. They were extremely helpful.....even loaned us a longer water hose as ours was a little too short. Very friendly people. Wifi available right by the office, but lost it by our camper, but not a real big deal. Staff was often out and about working and helping others.

Curtis Roy

Yes, the county road leading to the campground is horrific but that is Grant County's fault. Yes, the creek can flood with very heavy rains and a little mud can occur but that is nature and if you can't handle a little nature you shouldn't be camping. Hello? The campground is in a beautiful setting and I wish I had more time to explore the trails (we spent our days at the Ark). We sat out with a camp fire at night and did not suffer a single bug bite. If you like to watch TV at night then bring some DVDs because the reception in the valley is very poor. The following is why I didn't give them 5 stars. We booked the space for 3 nights. On the morning of the 3rd day the boss called me on my phone and said "did they tell you you have to move?" I said "No." She said "You have to move, we're putting you in A5, it's a nice big lot with a big such and such tree." She didn't offer an explanation. I didn't ask why because I was going to the Ark anyway it it wasn't that big of a deal to land in a different spot with our class 3. The reason I mention it is because she was rather abrupt as if it is completely appropriate to tell people to move. I When we got back from the Ark we saw another rig in the spot we were uprooted from. They over booked the spot to someone that was going to stay longer. Not good business practice. Short sighted. She forgot to mention that the lot she put us in, A5, was a major thoroughfare for people walking on the foot bridge to cross the creek to the office/store/showers/pool area. So, if you want to sit out by the picnic table for a nice meal or a romantic evening by the fire - expect company.

overall great stay, except for the road coming into the campground, the staff was friendly and very helpful. Not many campgrounds will come to your camper with their tote and dump for you if needed. Will stay again, and will recommend.

Dana Saley

Small quaint campground, sites are VERY close and the road is very, VERY narrow. Making it tough to maneuver a bigger rig with the warning to stay off their grass when you check in. The water pressure is extremely high so bring a regulator. The dump station is in serious need of attention. But the staff is nice and accessible for anything. Might just be growing pains. Except for the really small sites and narrow driveway. It's an interesting drive down the road on the way in.

Ben Rogers

The staff was very nice and helped us back our trailer in. The campground is quiet and you do feel like you are not camping in a parking lot as do some RV parks. The gravel on the sites is a bit thin and could be refreshed. A road around the dump site could be helpful when one is using while others want to leave. As many others have said the trip to the campground OMG !! The road width, the road holes and the scenery. The scenes could have been described by Jeff Foxworthy.

Jerry Morris

Road in and out very bad and two vehicles can not pass each other, site is small and no table. I strongly reconsider having them in roverpass organization. Will not recommend to anyone

James Field

Quiet and peaceful. Owners are extremely nice and helpful.

Lee McKeithan

Nice people, very rustic.

KayLyn Pace I had to change my dates twice within 2 days of arrival and Rachael was able to work what I needed and what was open. They celebrated the 50 year anniversary of the park with vittles and a C&W Concert by KayLyn Pace. The park is far enough of the beatten path yet close to stuff... The Ark, Creation Museum, and a couple state park lakes.

Troy Sparrow

Owners are top notch. Great people, hard working, kind with a great vision for this park. It will be great to return and visit to see what they have done The park is a gem (and a work in progress, the locals we talked to said this place has made a 180 turn around with the new owners). Most importantly the washrooms are VERY clean (we only have a pop up so that was important), in fact before we left Canada we emailed to ask if they were clean and Rachael told us the truth, awesome!! The park overall is very quiet and well located for the ark encounter and the Creation museum. Met a bunch of nice folk there so none seemed displeased with their visit. We stayed 5 nights and had a great time overall. We have already recommended to all our camping friends that Three springs is the place to stay for their trip to the museums. A double thumbs up from us......we love camping and this place will be a future stop on our journeys.

Andrew Bain

Staff was helpful and friendly. The young man that worked diligently daily scurrying about taking dump tanks to the dump station and doing various other chores was helpful and friendly and did a great job. The site was clean and roomy. The grounds were beautiful in their natural state. Nice trails to enjoy. The overall experience was memorable. Thank you so much!!

Melinda Reynolds

Very peaceful and great service.

William Henak

Would rate Three Springs Campground even lower, if this were possible!! Our plan was to spend 3 nights in the rustic, secluded, hike-in cabin, while in the area visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, but that changed rapidly after discovering (on night 2) that we were not the cabin's only inhabitants!! We packed up and left at 10 PM, after finding multitudinous wolf spiders, a VENOMOUS aracnoid that is most active at night, in the "recently remodeled", but, in actuality, unfinished cabin. You can be assured that we have no plans to ever return to Three Springs after being told that spiders are "part of the camping experience" by the dismissive, defensive campground hostess, who refused our request for a refund, even though we showed her the spiders and our bite covered arms and legs (from our one night spent there). If you like sleeping with spiders, then this is the place...if not, then you probably should seek accommodations elsewhere. Excerpt from a poem written by our 11-year-old son: With the close of the door, you seal your fate, as the spiders start to play. Now all you can do is watch and wait. Up and down your legs they go, biting to and fro...

Judy Pierce

The hosts work very hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The road up to the campground is supposed to be maintained by the county and they haven't kept up with it. The property of the campground is well maintained. The 5th wheel we rented had just been vacated by people who we're not caring of what damage they did. They put holes in the walls which you can tell we're fresh. Of course the host could not fix those bits of damage before we arrived. They did inform me of it I made sure to apologize. The people that rented the camper before us also took all the pots and pans that the hosts are generous and supply. I did not request replacements and did inform the host of the problem as we were leaving. She said if I had contacted her she would have brought some over from her home. That is how hard they try. When the host leave the office to clean or work on anything they leave their cell phone numbers so that they are always reachable. The Campground was pretty. The hosts were great. We stayed in July on the 29th and 30th.

Brandi Beller

We enjoyed our stay at Three Springs Campground. Very quiet campground. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was not that great, but Hey you're camping!!. The only thing I would say is make sure you stay off the grass.

Iva Miller

I am trying to figure where they took the actual advertising pictures they have posted?? We were visiting the Ark, so we stayed here 7/16-7/19. Although the owners were friendly and cordial, that alone doesn't make an acceptable RV Park. This park is a "private" one, that lacks regulatory oversight!!! This place is very "sub-standard" in almost every respect. Starting with the entry into this place, grass and weeds covered their business sign, we missed the road. The 1/4 mile road was a very narrow one-lane, non-maintained with roadside debris, with large swells and dangerous pot-holes to navigate. Actual park entry/exit gates are so close and narrow allowing only one vehicle to pass. Dump station is located at this area which can compound the in/out traffic problem. Too many spaces (crammed), too close together, too short with most too uneven. Although graveled, there's not enough to level off and requires concrete blocks to assist leveling. Graveled areas are too narrow which means you walk in grass, dirt or mud to enter your RV. We have a smaller TT and found it a chore to navigate this park. Upon exit, all RV's must cross over two small improperly marked bridges, both located on a curve, spanning a stagnant creek. They are way too narrow and I feel one day will become a serious issue for someone? A few other issues to consider are, poor TV reception, poor WIFI reception, shared electrical and water hook-ups (we had a broken spigot), no marker night lights, and no space ID markers. On the lighter side, this park is quiet and secluded. However, there is still no question that we will never stay in such a mess as this again.

John Arana

Very POOR business. We called to let them know we would be arriving late due to traffic. Was told I needed to be there by 8:00 pm because the gate is locked at that time. No LATE ARRIVALS allowed! No where in any of there literature is this stated. Not even in the welcome letter. Stay somewhere else!!!!

Patty Teeter

Biggest issue is the entrance road, very narrow and unappealing area. We have a Rv trailer, the site's are far to close, had to keep shades closed and windows. Having a camp fire is a real hazard to close to your neighbors. The owner, Rachel was helpful but dismissive. Was more concerned with us driving on the grass. Not at all what the website shows. Sorry would not recommend to fellow travelers

Scott Sparks

We stayed here as it was closest to The Ark. The road approaching Three Springs is one lane, and there is a huge sinkhole that will surely rip off someones plumbing on their holding tanks someday. And one of the reaidents parked halfway on the road. The campground was really nice, cleanest showers i have ever had at any campground. The ownera are really nice people, hardworking and helpful. They will help you back onto your space and sjow you the hookups. Its a really nice quiet place too. We definitely will go back. Thanks for a great time.

Glenda Danby

We stayed here June 29-July 6th and enjoyed it very much. The owners, Chris and wife Rachel, are genuine, hard-working hosts and literally bend over backwards to accommodate your stay. Chris is a true Southern gentleman with an impressive, kind spirit. Dawn works in the office and has a friendly, efficient manner. They all treated us well and we would return.

Reginald Walters

We stayed here two nights 7/5 through 7/7 in a 36 foot MH pulling a 15 foot trailer. The park is secluded and quite. Hookups are shared between two sites with no sewer. TV reception was bad but possible may be my ant. Approach from main road is down a paved one lane road poorly maintained for about a quarter of mile or less. I did not meet another vehicle entering or leaving so there was no backing up necessary. I had to drop my trailer up front until leaving due to small size of sites. This added time to leaving, I had to dump tanks, connect trailer, then load motorcycle and secure. Added 45 minutes to getting on the road. The park is clean with gravel on sites. Staff was friendly. Although a rustic setting it isn't enough for me to stay here again.

Robert Landberg

Quiet clean campground friendly folks and staff

Karen Marks

We found it to be a beautiful campsite with friendly and helpful staff. The restrooms and showers were clean. We will stay there again!

Aaron Walsh

Great little campground. Owners are very friendly and helpful. All sites appeared to be level and very well maintained.

Rhonda Maurer

we rented the big cabin this past week the new owners are wonderful very helpful the cabin was very clean and well maintained had a great time

Arthur Davis

Nice quiet campground ,new owners are working hard to make it better. Rented a space which was level plus water &power. Son rented their large camper which was clean and well maintained. Entire campground is clean and quiet. It is a gem hidden in a neat valley.I will return in the future.

Mike Nevins

The place is very run down and the host was very rude and curt. Plus that fact that the spot we were assigned had just been flooded the night or day before. Also, we weere not told about the creek overflowing the night before, we foudn that out from others staying there. Will not be back.

Melissa Witmer

Decent campground to stay in. Pretty rustic which is fine with our family. Restrooms/shower rooms were pretty clean (smelled badly of smokers). Road leading in was rough but we managed. We were unable to put our awning out because we were right up against trees. The pool was closed & empty upon arrival which we did not know about. (Didn't much matter though, it rained & stormed the entire time). The firewood we purchased was not dry when we got it, so our campfire consisted mainly of smoke, thankfully we didn't need to cook over it. Dump station was great with a provided hose to empty. Owner was friendly and very helpful. She definitely knows her stuff!! Clean campground overall. We'd definitely stay there again because we aren't super picky.

Paula Guiler

The people were kind, and the bathroom was clean. I had to spend the night in my car because the tent area was saturated with water to begin with and it stormed and I got washed out. They could’ve put me somewhere else but didn’t bother. The place was kind of a dump. They’re putting up new cabins That already look bad, and the road leading in was dubious at best.

Darryl Smith

Great experience. Rustic. Bathrooms clean overall good. One mention had to purchase their wood it was not totally cured and didn't burn well. But again a great time will come back.

Alisha Smith

Had an absolutely amazing time can’t wait to return

Jimmy Redmon

First impressions last forever. My first impression of Three Springs was not good. We had 17 family members stay at Pop’s Cabin and the adjacent cabin. I will say that the bathrooms were clean and well taken care of. If you are not staying in a camper and love rustic camping this place will be perfect. Trails to cabins are very rough for disabled and elderly. Were not very well maintained. Not sure about Kentucky Safety Regulations, but from my perspective this place had several areas that need addressed before they get a law suite. Be cautious when you walk into POps cabin, board are laid wrong way and provide no grip. Watch you little ones on porch as the rails are spaced wide enough for children to fall through. Should be 6” spacing. May not be their fault, but the pool is closed apparently permanently but is advertised as open. For what ever reason Rachael feels the need to treat all guest as though they are pre teen kids at summer camp upon arrival. My family adjusted to the setting and managed to heat 6 slabs of ribs and baked beans on an old grill. And the trip to the Ark and Creation Museum was great. Unique experience.

Dean Magsam

Would give a lower rating if available. First, the road going into the campground was narrow, pot holes and dangerous. No way two campers could pass each other on this road. Second, no pool. When I expressed my displeasure I was informed that they were waiting on insurance money to fix it and that we were informed in our welcoming email that the pool was not available. I read my welcoming email several times and there was no mention of the pool. They did offer us passes to some water park, but since we were senior adults, it was not something we were interested in. Third, they put us in a 30 amp when we paid for a 50 amp. Had to move our camper. Fourth, no picnic table and really not enough space for one. Fifth, no place to sit outside. The gravel driveway was rutted and barely enough room to get into the camper without stepping in mud. There was absolutely no place to sit outside or even have a fire. Sixth, the fire pit was filled with mud and trash in it and around it. Seventh, the owner was very dismissive when we explained our displeasure. Was only told that there would be no refund. We were willing to forego our camping fee and go somewhere else but found no available campgrounds. Eighth, came back from the Ark and found our electricity off. So glad it wasn’t a hot day. That would have been disastrous for our pets This was a horrible experience and we have notified all in our travel group and others to avoid it. False advertisement!

Gail Johnson

The road getting to the campground is very narrow and needs repair. I realize that this is not the owners responsibility but prospective visitors need to be aware. Our lot was very unlevel. The staff brought us an extension cord since the electric is shared and was not our on side. The staff is VERY friendly and helpful. There appears to be improvements being made however I don’t think we will venture down that entrance again

Tony Zurek

We did not stay long enough to see the entire campground but the staff was great. I would have given 5 stars if they had full hook ups. However, kudos to them for providing a drain hose for your tanks as you leave. Makes it fast and easy to drain your tanks and move on.

Lizette Hoffenreich

The campground is in a beautiful setting in the trees. However, the sites are not level nor is the location for dumping your sewage, which left some of our sewage in the tanks. The pool is empty and in need of repair. There are no pull through sites. The bathrooms smell of cigarette smoke ~ don't know if the stink is current or from the previous ownership. The owners are nice people, but they have a lot of work to bring this place up to snuff.

Kate Walker

This campground has potential but is not quite ready for prime time. Lovely owners and staff but the facilities and grounds just weren’t ready for the season or for anyone looking for more than a place to sleep. I’m most disappointed that they indicate on line that they have a pool and nature trails. The reality is they have a closed crumbling pool (no water) and one overgrown trail. (Please update your online presence to reflect the actual status of your amenities.) They have so much standing water in the campground that the bugs were unbearable. I know that’s part of camping - but they need to address the issue in a larger manner. A park down the road was able to get us into a last minute cancellation - so we moved for the rest of our holiday weekend. If the owners do what they say they plan to do - and invest in the amenities - this could be a lovely destination - but just not yet. I’m also disappointed that it’s listed as a good Sam location. Didn’t match up to our previous experiences of a Good Sam Park. Stayed in a 32’ travel trailer.

Ann and Jerry Johnson

We loved this campground! The beautiful surrounding lush greenery and space with small creek was so peaceful. We would have stayed longer than two nights but had other plans. Only negative is no sewer hook-ups but the beauty offset that. This campground is not just some campsite with parking spots. The grounds were meticulously kept up. People were friendly. Would come back again but live in California. Oh, and they text you about any weather alerts. THANK YOU for a peaceful, beautiful camping experience.

Brenda Fisher

Avoid this campground! Mosquito infested standing water, empty pool, office open when they feel like it. We left it was so bad and they said no refund as they didn't have an opportunity to fix issues. How do u fix that and how do u find someone to tell. Horrible experience

Carol Krause

A small but beautiful place to camp! Our grandchildren especially enjoyed the little stream that went by our campsite. The owners couldn't be more friendly. They immediately brought us a table and firewood (at our request) and even lent us an extension cord. The bathrooms were super clean. We felt that all the campers there were exceptionally friendly. Many were there to see the Ark and the Creation Museum, as we were.

Rebecca Bumgarner

Campground is clean. Owners are wonderful people and couldn't have been more accommodating. Our main issue, as senior citizens, was the hike up to the cabin. Our fault because I didn't research it. We booked late and took a cancellation. Also, there were limited window coverings and the door wouldn't lock. It is still a work in progress, so I'm sure things will get worked out soon. Again, they listened to everything we said and I'm sure they will make it one of the best campgrounds around. It's already the cleanest.

C & N Cross

We really enjoyed the quiet campground. The management was more than helpful. They went the extra mile to contact us and notify us that if we were going to the Ark Encounter we should purchase our tickets online to beat the long wait lines. Even offered to help us do it if we were not able to. The campground was clean and as well maintained as it could be in its location. We enjoyed the location and the creek running behind the campsite.

Cynthia Woodcock

We only needed a spot to sleep, so this campground was perfect. We were there for 5 nights, so we could visit the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. The bathrooms were warm and quite nice as far as campground bathrooms and showers go! Very convenient to the Ark.

Troy Dailey

Loved this campground. Very quiet and great, friendly staff. We were going to be arriving late, but it was not a problem for the awesome folks who waited for us. They went out of their way for us. They even loaned us a water hose when ours sprung a leak. Would definitely stay here again.

Ronald Walker

Three Springs Campground is a work in progress! Our stay of four nights was comfortable while we visited Noah's Ark, Creation Museum, and Cincinnati (Reds Baseball Game). The park is very convenient to these sites. The staff were all very cordial and helpful.

Robert Stephey

What s muddy dump. I have never been so disappointed in my life. I have a 38 ft class A . The road getting to the place was a cow path. Two coachs could not pass at the same time. We booked two nights and left after one. Would not refund second night. Told me I could use the second nite for up to two years. Not going back there so they screwed me out of one nite. People where very nice and helpful but do not put any money back into the facilities.

Paige Hines

Lovely little family-friendly campground. We tent camped so I can't speak for RV/camper sites or cabins, but everyone we spoke to in the office was friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms were really nice compared to most campground bathrooms I've seen (clean, HEATED, and with HOT water). Our camp site was picturesque right near the creek. Would stay again.

Tina Bledsoe

My family and I stayed in the larger cabin and had a wonderful time. Plenty of sleeping space and very quiet. The beds were comfortable and the space was very cozy. We will definitely stay again.

Dorothea Mulhern

It’s a campground with character. The owners were wonderful. The lady directed my husband into our site and the man was great. We had a problem with our pump, he came down to see if he could help. The only drawback was it was freezing at night and they shut the water off. We would definitely return in better weather.

John Curtis

Nice sites- no problem with bing level or having power and water, but the hookups for this “back in” site were on the right side vice the standard left side. Our power and water lines “just” reached. We had to share the water spigot with the site next to us, but the guys working there were quick to get a splitter on the spigot. The pool was out of service and the camp store didn’t have much to offer other than a nice big display of incense for sale

Kim Cowart

Three Springs was the perfect campground for our needs. The campground hosts were very friendly and helpful, and the amenities were very clean.

Melissa Compton

As the others has stated they are new owners, and have a lot to handle. It’s obvious that the need help with their customer service, I mean they are very nice but they are also very controlling with the way the manage things. It seems as if they have had a lot of unfortunate things happen with their guest. But not everyone is a bad guest but I felt like they thought that I was. I stayed in one of their cabins and it was hard to stay the two nights, I felt like it was dirty from the type of wood inside I was hoping for something a little cleaner. But it was a cabin. Start with renovations and a good paint job and I think it start coming together. Thanks

Tim and Karen Hieb

Thank you, Rachel and Chris! You have a lovely campground, and we felt so well cared for during our stay. God's blessings to you!

M Franklin

Owners were very friendly, it appears they do there best to accommodate the guests Unfortunately for them the first thing you encounter is a run down trailer park just prior to the entrance of the campground. Roads are very narrow They were cutting the seas with a push mower which says they are likely in a tight budget( they are new owners) They need tons of gravel You can tell it floods frequently I would not stay again unless I had no options We left prior to our check out date it appears there is more to do than they can handle on there own right now and they likely need to spend a lot of money to upgrade Might be ok for others didn’t work for us May God bless the owners as you can tell they try very hard

Mark Clifton

Rustic campground but staff extremely friendly and helpful. We had a back-in space with 50 amp service and water but no sewer at space. But owners offered either a centralized dump site or they come to your space with a "honey wagon" and dump you. Worked great!!! Campground needs some work but owners are in planning stage for a major upgrade. Extremely close to The Ark Encounter.

Lisa Marlak

Outstanding, quite, clean and friendly place. 1 exit from The Ark.... Beautiful historic grounds perfect place for RVs and tent camping.

marvin boozer

Nice owners. Very helpful. small park water and electric with a dump station. not a lot of room for big fifth wheels. for the price not a bad deal for a night or two.

Paul Carmean

Needs a lot of attention to the overall campground. Nice people running the business. Road in has some challenges but it is nice and quiet when you get settled in.

Teddy Johnson

Rachel and Chris the owners, were so accommodating & helpful. Three Springs is beautiful with all the springs & shade trees. They are truly upgrading everywhere you look. Thank you for taking care of our Zeek while we went to the Ark.

Steven Cody

We really loved our stay here we had 21 people at campground and everyone loved it. We rented pop's lodge and R V rental , a R V lot. Very easy to go to the Ark. Owner's were great and helped us alot. Very quite and peaceful.

Chris Filbert

Love this little camping gem. From the moment we pulled in, our host was charming and helpful. Each guest us personally escorted to your site and guided in. Make sure you are there for the Friday night music jam. Really fun and unexpected. The grounds are clean and maintained. So glad we found Three Springs! John & Chris Illinois

douglas e doucet

stayed 2 nights did not use bathhouse or pool . looked good. would stay again if ever in area. host were very helpful and friendly. thanks

John Taylor

Sites are small and not enough gravel to avoid mud. Patios are too small to move around. Hard to get down the narrow lane. As someone allergic to smoke, smoking right outside the office and restrooms was an issue and will prevent return.

Glenda McFarland

Nice smaller campground. Restrooms and pool were very clean and the owners are very nice and helpful. Where we were camping definitely needed some gravel or something. The campground is very quiet and people are very nice. Good for a quick family camping trip.

Robin Smith

Very quiet and peaceful campground even though sites are small and close together. Owners were friendly and helpful with parking and fire wood. All sites were back in but fairly easy. Pool and restrooms very nice and clean. This is not a well manicured campground but we found it comfortable and very convenient for visiting the Ark Encounter.

David Lowenfeld

Owners are very nice people. The campground is small and at the end of a long one-lane road. We had a small camper but it would be tough for a big rig. When we arrived, they had moved our campsite for one night and the second night was going to be in an overflow area. As it turned out, we ended up parking in the grass, without water, power, picnic table, or fire-pit... The owners ran an extension cord, which handled the AC but was still a bit feeble. The mens bathroom was "under construction" so we used out trailer facilities. The dump station was clean and convenient. It was very convenient to the Ark Encounter and nice and quite nights. For a night or two, it was decent but I wouldn't want to make it a destination campground.

Russell Longo

Very nice people work there. We didn’t use the pool but the pool was very clean. I Would of gave it 5 stars if they had sewer hook ups. They do have a dump station you can use on the way in or out. Great place to stay if going to the ark encounter.

Angel Cloninger

Owners were nice. We were surprised when we got there that we had to drive through a trailer park to get to the campground. The road was really narrow and impossible for 2 big RVs to come down at the same time. We also were unaware that there was no sewage hook up (sort of inconvenient). We constantly had to ask for toliet paper and paper towels for the womens restroom. We were told they only had 1 washer & dryer (they used it for all the rentals when getting them ready for the next arrival) So we couldn't use them because they stayed full. We ended up having to go OFF SITE to do laundry. They also could use better air in the bathrooms. The playground could defiantly use some improvements. We had to put our tent (we paid extra to have) a quarter mile away because they had rented out the tent site across from us to someone else. The pool was clean and nice but you had to sign in every time you went and it closed pretty early. Overall if you don't mind the rugged type of camping it will be great but with kids it was just okay.

jesse martin

Friendly staff, nice quiet shaded campground. Excellent place to stay if you are visiting the ark encounter and creation museum. Would definitely stay there again.

Crystal Pearson

Fantastic campground. It's small but that cuts down on the noise. We would definitely recommend. Staff was very friendly and I appreciated the suggestions they gave via email to the near by attractions.

Joy Hand

It was a nice place to camp. The staff were nice, friendly.

The long narrow entrance into the campground could be a real problem if 2 big rigs meet on the hill with no room to pass each other. 1st surprise was the extra cost to register on line. 2nd was a 45 minute wait to register at the front desk in the 90* heat, and 3rd was flash flood that forced us to leave our campsite. The owners are very nice people and did what they could during the monsoon rain that came through when we were there. I can't recommend this campground for bigger rigs.

Norman Douglas

Great little campground We had two nice nights even through a storm. The owners were very nice and had a very nice pool. It looks like you're going down a dead end road but it's a nice surprise at the end.

We stayed for two nights to visit the Ark Encounter. It is very convenient to the Ark and a nice little campground. We had a good site on the lower side - much more shade and close to the playground. We had three issues: 1) the pool was closed and it was hot...our grandchildren were disappointed that they could not swim. 2) the electric on our site was not working - the owners took too many overflow large rigs and it over taxed the system. 3) they take too many large rigs in overflow and this makes the campground more crowded Also - the bathrooms are not the best east of the Rockies by a loooong shot. The men's urinal (the only one) was out of order. I would probably recommend it if you are visiting the Ark for its convenience but it is not a destination.

Jackie Nava

Had a fantastic time ..the showers were awesome ... They kept the site and bathrooms clean... The staff and owner very nice and helpful... We will return..great family get away.. Beautiful sites.. Sooo peaceful

Elizabeth Schmittdiel

We got a huge site that our electric and water were directly in front of our camper door because we had to share with our neighbor. A bit of an inconvenience for the cord went accords our area. They said they had picnic tables but our site did not have one. The bathrooms were clean and the owners are doing their best but the place is run down and could use a make over badly. They are doing their best and it shows!

Rebecca Gray

Nice quiet spot convenient to the Ark. Be careful driving exiting on the 1-way would be easy to drop your rear tire off the 2 culverts going over the creek.. narrow with no guard rails.

Robert Richardson

Great and helpful staff. Grounds are being improved but still need work. Baths very clean, a little far to walk from farther out sites. No full hook up, but has dump station. Can provide transportation to Ark Encounter for fee if you don't have dingy. Somewhat rustic and needs new tables at sites.

Amy Rogy

Very nice and pleasant staff and extremely helpful. Facilities are good and the lots are pretty level. Nice wooded area with a stream running through. Very secluded.

Karl Wardlaw

Road back to campground in poor condition and very narrow. Campsites are very, very close together. Hosts were friendly.

Michelle Friesen

We camped this past memorial day weekend. We booked it to be near the Ark and it seemed like a nice campground online. I called 3 weeks ahead of time to confirm my reservation since it was made online and ask some questions. I was told that check in was by 9 pm no exceptions. We live 4 hours away and pulling a trailer it will take at least 5 without any issues, traffic etc. The only way would be if we had a tow bill. Okay so I stressed for weeks over this since my husband wasn’t able to get off early. We arrived shortly after 8 pm. We hauled butt to get there. We only stopped twice for potty breaks for the 5 year old and the elderly parents. Great so we check in and are given many rules, which is fine. I don’t mind rules, Im a rule follower, as a nurse I understand this for sure. At 1030 pm that same night we hear a loud noise and discover that our neighbor had just arrived. Now I don’t mind the noise of late arrivals and early departures, you are camping you have to expect this. My issue was the firm conditions I was given for arrival time. Okay so I let that go and go to sleep. Next morning on the way out we seen 6 or 7 campsites with rugs. We were given a long story of why we cannot use rugs, because it kills the grass. Okay fine, so we didn’t put our rug out all weekend despite the other rule breakers. Saturday we returned from a late meal out and there was no parking spaces available due to something going on in the hall on the campground site. There might be space to park 7 or 8 cars that is not in the grass. Even the area where people can park partly on the grass was filled up. So we parked my car next to my husband’s truck on the gravel at our site. Sunday morning my husband explained to the owner and he said that was fine. Sunday once again no parking spots were available when we got back from our day excursion. So once again we parked next to my husband’s truck. Im not sure what all is going on in the hall but its like locals come to it and that takes up all the parking spots or it’s the cars from those that use tents. There is not enough parking for extra vehicles. Many people have more than one car also when traveling. The whole weekend because of the rain the sites were to0 wet and muggy to cook outside so Monday morning it was beautiful and I had invited my friend to come for a late breakfast before they left to go back to Missouri and we packed up. They arrived about 10:45 am and I had them park in the site next to us since they had pulled out at 5am. They both cannot walk very far. We had a great relaxing beautiful brunch. Shortly before they were getting ready to leave my husband was asked to move my car. My husband said we are packing things up and the car. For the next hour I felt like we were being watched like hawks as my husband and I were trying to get trailer ready to leave. My husband was struggling with getting the trailer to hook up properly so it took longer than usual. Now to end on a positive note. If you are looking for small, secluded campground within nature this is a nice little campground. My husband reported that the bathrooms and showers were very clean. I use the camper shower so I cant give the female version .I understand there are new owners and they are making changes and upgrading things and some things will be trial and error. Suggestion make sure if you are going to give a list of rules that you enforce for everyone. Next camping that is prepaid for shouldn’t have a time frame of when they can arrive. At the stateparks if you have prepaid and the office is closed you arrive and check in the next morning for your car passes and whatever else you might need. It is no different with a hotel, you are going to hear people come and go. It’s a hotel. Same with campgrounds. What is the difference when campers pull out at 5am. The noise is the same. Are you going to tell them they cant leave until a specific time? I would also work on the parking issue. If you are wanting to maintain your grass than figure out some more parking.

Valerie Dorton

We had a great stay, Rachael was MORE than accommodating to my husband and me. There were terrible storms Thursday evening and the grounds were without power. But she didn't miss a beat. They were constantly outside, cutting grass, pulling weeds, moving limbs from all of the storms. We saw her and her husband out checking the property, even during a driving rain storm the following evening, she even stopped to chat and talk to our big baby, Ivan. The only negative that we experienced was our gray tank overflowed, but they offer a service for that...thank goodness! So overall, I would recommend the park. It's close to the Ark Encounter, and the sound of the creeks and birds was very relaxing. I do wish things were less muddy, but what can you do? I live in NC and we need to build our own Ark here... It's been raining so long, I'm not sure I remember what the sun looks like! Well done Rachael and company!!

This is a horrible campground. It was not mowed, the tent site was hilly, and worst of all there was no picnic table and they couldn't find one for us!! I would warn against staying here. The creek is also brown and disgusting. We ended up going to a hotel and we couldn't even get our money back. The firepit was filled with water and they didn't even care to prepare it knowing someone was coming. Do not stay here.

Steve Mignery

We stayed this past long weekend and enjoyed our stay. The camp was clean, restrooms clean and the owners are hard working and very helpfull. They are always friendly and willing to talk. Its an older campground that they are working on upgrading. We had a lot of rain in a short time and low area's flooded then receded, i am sure in time they will build up the low spots. I would go back with noworries.

Deborah Parsley

We enjoyed our stay even though there was no water due to a water leak in town. The camp ground is very secluded. No TV signal but we enjoyed the quietness. Bathroom and showers are very clean. The water was back on the day before we left. Staff is very friendly and hard working. We would stay there again. If you book with Roverpass be sure to let them know if you are visiting Noah's Ark, I think you get a discount on the campsite.

Campground Response

Thank you, Deborah, for your kind words and encouragement. We try to keep the park as clean as possible and are very proud of what we have accomplished so far with it. I am so very sorry about the water main break in town and us being without water for so many days, but I appreciate the fact that all the campers were understanding and even helpful at times with keeping the toilets working and clean. I hope someday we will meet again and until then Happy Campin!

Shannon Routh

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The campground is tucked in the land a little on a small, rural road. Hardly any highway noise. Some things look a little dated. The picnic table at our site was broken. We were camping in a tent. The area was beautiful. The bathrooms were clean. We would stay here again.

Joe Smith

This is one of the worse campgrounds that we have ever stayed at. The pictures are deceiving the description is the same . Would not recommend it for my worst enemy it says it has Internet well it might have it but it never worked

Patricia Shields

Rachael and Judy were awesome in our accommodations ....VERY nice and helpful. The restrooms were really clean and had no smell. Our campsite was perfect for enjoying the sounds of the birds and the frogs at night.(The purpose of camping)...getting away from the high-tech world we now deal with. The grounds had many plants naturally growing like we use for medicine. To us the property felt Sacred. Perhaps it was this Sacred Energy that some of the people, who has written negative reviews , were unable to tolerate . We regretted that we only had two nights there and would camp there again in a heart-beat. If nature is not your thing...don"t go camping. WE LOVED IT !!!!!

Albert Birdwell

Would never stay there nor would I suggest it to anyone I want every penny of money returned! People need to call ahead of time to make sure they have a reservation.

Campground Response

Hi, Albert. I am sorry that your stay was not up to your standards. Can you tell us what went wrong? I don't have the ability to look up your reservation to see what the issue was but I would be glad to look into it for you and see what I can do? Please email us your last name and the date of your stay and I will be in contact with you within 24 hrs with a result. Thank you for your review as we believe the only way we can improve is by knowing where our weaknesses lie. -R. Poole Owner

Timothy Freriks

We couldn't use water because their spigots weren't heated. We couldn't get internet because the wi-fi was way underpowered. No over-the-air TV available. No cable service. Bathrooms were primitive. Really loud neighbors (not really the camp's fault). The road in was steep and narrow. Scary. Good location to ARK, but not pleasant.

Campground Response

Hi, Timothy. I am very sorry that your neighbors were loud. I am on property every night and made several trips to that site asking them to keep their voices down, to no avail. Unfortunately, your right, but I don't like to ruin someone's vacation by throwing them out. On another note, our water spigots are not heated because we are closed in the winter. This year was unlike any winter I have lived through in KY and I have been here 43 years. We never have freezing temps like that during those months, and it's just the price we pay for opening the park in early March instead of April 1st like we usually do. I am sorry that your stay was not what you expected, but we do not advertise ourselves as an RV Resort, simply a campground. We have limited WIFI and so we state that on all advertisements. Our bathhouses however are tile from floor to ceiling, heated/air conditioned, have beautiful counter tops, clean showers and toilets (we clean 3 times daily) and have pictures of them posted on our website and RoverPass, for anyone wishing to see them. Thanks again for your review and we hope that someday you can give us another try. Safe travels and God Bless.

David Howland

Terrible. A muddy pit. Poor maintenance. Sites super narrow. Get off the gravel and get mud stuck. Construction equipment sitting around. Bathrooms muddy. There was some very freaky kid walkin around, pierced n tatted. Looked like a dope dealer. Oh and on the road to this place yu go by a mobile home park that prolly is home to 3 or 4 meth labs. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Campground Response

David, It has taken me a while to respond to your review simply because I had no idea how to! I am not one to try to defend our park when someone leaves an unjust review because I feel that our number of 5 star reviews that are simple and honestly stated make up for the ones that are not. BUT, not only do I want to defend us, I am also offended (for the 1st time). First of all, when you camp in the early spring, when an area has received 14 in of precip in just a month, you are going to get mud. Especially when other campers who are new to driving RV's back into the lawns instead of the gravel pad. This is why we direct each rig into the sites, to avoid the ruts and mud. Second, the construction equiptment you mentioned was ONE bobcat that we were using (rental) to widen the roads in the park (to make it easier for the campers). It was here all of 3 days. Third, we clean our bathhouses 3 times a day, but we also have to check in guests, deliver firewood, clean cabins and camper rentals, answer the phones which ring 120-130 times a day, etc., and not everyone will wipe their shoes before entering the bathhouses, so you get an occasional muddy floor. Fourth, the "very freaky kid ...pierced n tatted" was my 25 year old son, who is the sweetest kid you will ever meet and is an individual, just like you, and it was his choice to get a tatoo in memory of his grandma (my mom) who died suddenly last February from cancer. He has never done "dope" nor would he because he lost his cousin last year to a heroine overdose. And lastly, we cannot pick our neighbors no more than you can. So the "mobile home park that prolly is home to 3 or 4 meth labs" actually has some of the best people who live there and it is their choice (once again) if they want to live in a trailer park, which by the way doesn't get police calls every weekend like some of your fancier neighborhoods I have lived in the past. I am totally shocked at the review laced in bigetry towards anyone or thing you feel doesn't fit your status quo. Please by all means.... don't return to my park. I am sorry to anyone I unknowingly upset with my response to this review and am willing to send dated pictures of our park from March 2018, when this camper stayed here. We take pictures every other week and will gladly email them to you, just ask. Rachael Poole Owner/Operator

Angela Mosher

Nice but too expensive

Campground Response

Hi Angela. Thank you for the rating and thank you for staying with us! I am sorry if you felt we were too expensive but if your ever in this area again, stay with us and I will give you a $10 coupon to help offset the cost. Thanks again and happy campin!

sarah brady

What a great campground! There are hours of walking trials, places to fish, and beautiful scenery to take in! Just what us city folks needed! The staff are so sweet and over accommodating! Racheal was a wonderful host! We rented a trailer and it was incredibly clean and comfortable! We also rented an RV pad which was backed into a stream. How beautiful!!! I would recommend camping here!

Campground Response

Thank you for your kind words, Sarah. I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed the Deluxe RV Rental and that your friends had a good time as well. Stop back in and see us sometime and tell your friends we are here! Safe travels and happy campin!

Karl Stairs

/Rachael: Last year we booked for two rigs Karl Stairs/Jack Cowart. Due to illness we were unable to make it and you told me that we will have a credit for the future. We are planning a trip to the Ark Encounter this March. Will you honor that promise.

Campground Response

Karl, Thank you for messaging us! Of course we always honor our "Hold" Reservations. You just need to give us 10 days notice on the dates your requesting. If you know what those dates are, please call or email us asap as we book up to a year in advance because of our proximity to the Ark Encounter. Thanks for giving us another chance to serve you and we are looking forward to helping your group plan this new adventure! - Rachael Poole Owner

frances prior

Very nice place near the ark encounter

Campground Response

Thank you, Frances! We hope that if your ever in our area again, you'll choose to stay with us then as well. Safe travels......

Richard Main

My wife and spent a week at 3 springs in sept 2016. Could not have had better accommodations. The couple had only owned the park a short time and were still on their shake down cruise. Could not have more helpful on anything we asked there was a small problem with the power and water connections, but you are camping not condocampint . Enjoyed every day and looking forward to our next trip. Had to give my RV due to health but cabins work for me. I give it 4 stars.

Campground Response

Thanks, Richard! Yes, we were still "green" to running the park, but the Ark has definitely changed that for us in a hurry! We have now resurfaced all of the roads and sites, added new electric and water to each site, as well as added new sites to the park this year. Hopefully we will see you again soon as we have also built a new Cabin rental that is not just affordable, but accommodating too! Thanks for your kind words and we will see you again someday!

Robert Hornby

The hardworking couple made us feel welcomed. It is off the beaten path and that was a plus. Definitely a great place to visit. We will definitely stay again in our future travels

Campground Response

Thank you, Robert! We try to make each guests stay as stress-free and relaxing as possible. All that's left is for someone to develope a "Weather Machine" so we can control when mother nature acts up! LOL! See you soon and happy campin!

Campground Response

Actually, we paid for an RV Mechanic from a local Camping World to come and access the repair, but you told him that you had something come up and were leaving anyways, and told him not to order the skylight replacement we offered. I personally went with the mechanic when he came to your site. There were 3 walnuts left on the tree. Yes, we were not liable for an act of nature, but had you given me the chance I was prepared to move you to the other site. Unfortunately, I was not given a chance to speak when I came over, only you, so this option never came to light. My husband came to help with patching the skylight immediately as well as bringing a ladder to you for use and returned it for you too. I think this was a case of miscommunication and lack thereof, because this was not as big of a problem as it now seems and could have been easily fixed and remedied, had you given us the chance.

Sara S

The Pop's Lodge was spacious and nicely situated on the hill tucked away in the forest. Bathrooms were clean, too. We enjoyed our time together here. Owner was very meticulous, so be prepared to pay the fine if anything is less than perfect when you leave. I would have liked to have a few dishes/pans/pots provided since there is a kitchenette in this cabin.

Campground Response

Thank you for staying with us! Unfortunately, we do not provide dishes, pots, pans in the rustic cabins because of the lack of water in these rentals. Not all campers will carry their dirty dishes to the bathrooms and wash them, so to keep the turnover costs low, and therefore the rental price low, we opted to have the campers bring paper/foil products instead. Thanks for the kind words and if your in our little town again we hope you will choose us again!

Kathleen Russell

Very secluded campground, nice bathrooms with hot showers, nice clean grounds, firepit. Water and electrical hookups were easy to get to and plug in and staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a very good experience.

Campground Response

Thank you, Kathleen, we are happy that you enjoyed your stay and how clean we keep the facilities. Come back and stay with us if your ever in the area again.

Cheryl Hallal

Nice campground. Chose because close to attractions we wanted to see. Clean restrooms, friendly staff. Sites need leveling done, kind of sloppy when it rains. Would stay here again.

Gayle Powell

Very tranquil spot in a beautiful setting.. the owners/hosts were kind and helpful even though we arrived very late. We used this as a base to see sights in the area and we were very happy with it. We knew it did not have septic hookups so we were prepared for that. I would like to have stayed one more day to enjoy the surroundings but had reservations elsewhere.. if you are looking for a restful stop in the area, this is it.

Larry Phillips

Quite campground, but would not stay again. Layout is not the best design, shared water faucet between two campsites. Water pressure was almost non existent for the first three days then we suddenly had pressure one night. Same rv was next to us so not sure what changed. Power outlets are on a shared pole and some campers apparently don't understand to not touch the other campers power. Office worker did a good job of directing the rv's into their parking. Suggest when they are through helping with the parking that they explain to the folks about not touching the other sites water or electric. Difficult to get to the dump station in a big rig and when you do, you cause a backup for everyone else as they can't get past you to get out of the park. Surprised about comments about how friendly the office staff was because when we went in to ask about a map of the trails they certainly did not act friendly, more like we were bothering them. Trails were interesting but they need to remove some of the dead trees with big branches broken and hanging loose

Karen pace

Nice folks. Good facility. Hard to access dump station.

Rich Smith

Absolutely awesome campground! We wish we had planned to stay more than two nights! As huge as it is, it never seemed crowded or congested. You can be as social or as private as you'd like. The lakefront sites and the bridge views are phenomenal. Now if they just had a clothing optional area it would be perfect! We'll be back!

Joyce Corley

Nice small campground. Camp host went out of her way to help us. Even let us come in a day early and dry dock until our spot was ready the next day. Very close to the Ark and we were also able to go to the creative museum . I would stay here again if in the area.

Jessica Hollifield

We were very impressed with this campground. Cabin was cute and clean. Swimming pool was decent enough. Showers seemed clean and great customer service! Worked perfect for our trip. Great pricing!

michele ciccanti

It was a beautiful campground. We did not use bathrooms or bath house. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We only stayed in night. We survived a torrential thunderstorm, and did not float away or have any problems.

Janet DeCesare

It was very relaxing and quiet, we enjoyed it wished we could have stayed longer but had to keep moving on. My granddaughter and I enjoyed the pool even in the rain we had fun. My daughter and granddaughter were very pleased with the showers and restroom very clean and thankful. Esp got a kick out of the owner at the campground with her pet crow. Thank you

Michael Vrooman

Great place for the family! We stayed in the small cabin and we're very comfortable with 4 of us.

My family stay in a rental RV for 3 days. The RV was very nice except for the toilet room. It was very cramp. I am a average size person (5'9", 170lbs). There was hardly any room to bend over. i decided to use the restrooms at the office and they were out of toilet paper and towels to wipe your hands. i never could get the WIFI working. They said that after a storm they have problems. I felt they should of had some literature of the amenities, where everything was and what is nearby. I did not see where the hiking trails were, I know i could of ask but decided not to. I did not know there was a store nearby going the other direction from the way we came which would of been nice to know. I wanted to leave early around 7am but could not because they needed to inspect the RV before I left so I could get a 150$ deposit back for any damage. They did not come to the office till 9am, so it was around 9:45 before I was able to leave. I would not recommend this campground

Lori Daniels

Nice area. Camped tent in rv section so we could have electric. None of the electric outlets worked. Was going to stay 3 nights but stayed 2. Didn't get reimbursed for the 3rd night of not staying. No grill on sight.. Lucky I had my portable one. Kids like Big Bone better.

Campground Response

Yes, Lori, our RV Section does not have grills as we don't get asked for them there, however there is a nice fire pit, picnic table, water, WIFI, and 30/50 AMP electric at the sites. I am sorry that the 110 plug-in was not working, but I wish you would have brought that to our attention sooner so we could have remedied the problem. You left on the 3rd night stating that the rain was something you didn't camp in, and since we cannot control the weather we do not give refunds for weather. I am sorry if you were not happy and hopefully in the future you will have a better time. Thank you for staying with us!

Beautiful clean campground with a small creek running through. The bathrooms are spotless with no spider webs or bugs. Gorgeous in ground pool. Very well kept. Owner is extremely helpful and friendly.

Campground Response

Thank you, David! It's very encouraging for us to see that our guests enjoy themselves and the park. We put a lot of time into making everything just right so that you don't have to work that hard to start relaxing. I am glad that you and your family had a great time and I hope you come back again someday... safe travels!

😕 the road into the camp was barely more than a singly lane for almost a mile, good luck if two rv's should meet on that road. There were no pull thru spots, the sites were very narrow, and hard to back into. The pool was green. It was quiet.

nice campground to stay at very quiet area. owners were very nice and helpful people from getting backed into site to helping with all other concerns did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. will be going back with other family members later but will not be using roverpass to book reservations.

My family had a great time here! The staff was so affable and accommodating for all of our needs. There were many spacious sites to choose from that depended on our camping style (which is nice as we don’t do the same thing every time). There were a lot of great amenities that covered way more than we needed. There were also a lot of great fun and relaxing activities that was great for the whole family. The location was really nice as there was so much to see inside the park as well as in the surrounding areas. Overall we had a great time!! - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
