Welcome to Thornton’s Resort & Campgrounds. We specialize in providing you, your family or group one of the most memorable experiences in the entire Midwest.
Whether you just need some time away from the daily routine, or want to try something different, Thornton’s Resort & Campgrounds will provide you with the vacation you deserve in Wisconsin’s beautiful northwoods.
Choose among basic RV sites or sites with partial hookups 30 amp. We also offer cabins, tent sites, and RV rentals. Our lively bar, Camp Inn, caters to the whole family with exciting activities such as pool, darts, foosball, video games, and more. On weekends, enjoy live music and great DJs.
The magnificent Caldron Lake is just across the road. It is a 1300-acre recreational lake where you will be able to enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating. You can also rent one of our kayaks to explore the island and inlets of the lake.
Wisconsin’s beautiful Northwoods are full of wonders and adventure. Enjoy bird watching, forest hiking trails, high rope courses, rock climbing, delightful local boutiques, and more than 200 miles of ATV/UTV trails to explore around the area.

Rules
NO SMOKING IN THE CABINS
Smoking is not allowed in the cabins. Doing this will result in a $250 cleaning fee.
Firewood
Firewood of any type is not allowed to be brought into Thorntons Resort and Campground
Generators
Generators are not allowed
Respect your neighbors & the resort property.
Quiet time is 11 pm
NO FIREWORKS & NO BRINGING IN FIREWOOD NO FIREWOOD DELIVERIES AFTER 8 PM.
THE SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH.
ATV/UTV's are allowed on the campground roads. Joy riding off the campground roads, speeding & noise complaints will not be tolerated & your site will be asked to leave without a refund.
ALL VEHICLES MUST BE DRIVEN RESPONSIBLY
GARBAGE MUST BE BAGGED & PUT ON THE TRAILER BY SHOWER ROOMS.
RECYCLING IS IMPORTANT HERE & YOUR COOPERATION IS GREATLY APPRECIATED

BOTTLES/TIN CANS/PLASTIC BELONG IN THE PROPER
BLUE PLASTIC BARRELS BY THE FENCE.
