The Covered Wagon RV Park

Full hook ups avail, not site specific, we were told to just take any open spot when we arrived. Quite a few long term residents are there. Very quiet, has grassy areas. Easy pull thru sites. If in the area again and needed a spot for the night, would most likely stay there again, but its definitely not a destination campground.

We didn't even stay overnight. Place is cluttered and dumpy. NO amenities. The pictures on the website are nothing current. When we called to get our site number, person on the phone tried to convince us Roverpass only collected their fee and we needed to give her our credit card info. When I wouldn't, we ended the phone call. She didn't know it wasn't hung up yet and told someone in the background that I was "bitchy". We boondocked at a truck stop instead

Very small & off the beaten path a bit, but the $30 price was good, but absolutely no facilities, not even an office..everything handled online & be careful as the site I used to reserve my spot I found out charged a $7.50 fee on top of the $30.00 the campground charges…

The park is small and fairly clean and well kept. It appears to be mostly long term RV’s that are mostly well maintained. It is easy to pass on the road to be on the lookout for it. Also cell service is terrible and the park offer no amenities such as WiFi, laundry, bath house. Overall it’s was pleasant though. The people were nice and it’s convenient as a pit stop traveling up from the Texas coast.
