Three miles from the famous U-Drop Inn, located right at the intersection of Historic Route 66 and US 83, the U-Drop Inn is the restored Conoco station featured in the Disney Movie Cars. Inside is a small museum and gift shop.

I give this place a 5 because it’s a great value. It’s simple, but clean. The store is well stocked snd the owner is friendly and helpful. It’s a pleasant stop along I-40. Be sure to drive into Shamrock to see the Art Deco Conoco Station/ Dew Drop Inn.

Not fancy but well maintained and clean. Great for one or two nights. Friendly owners and nice store in office.

Melony Jinks

A very peaceful place. The farm animals are awesome. The managers were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

There isn’t much else around but we just needed a place to sleep and something quick to fix for supper. The campground store came through for us! And the owners were so kind and welcoming. The site was level and all hook ups in great condition. There was plenty of space to walk the dog.

We arrived late and just stayed overnight. The pull through site was perfect. The full hook up was just what we needed. Our dogs enjoyed the dog park and the campground is very nice!

Really nice people! Wide open spaces. Nice store. Farm animals to visit with. You have to see the Tower Station, 5 minutes east in Shamrock. Will stop there again for sure.

This is a nice, easy stop on I-90 in Texas. It’s right on the old Route 66. Full hook ups, level, pull through sites. There is a small store for necessities. They were doing some renovations so the showers were out of service, and there was online bathroom. But when everything is done it will be a lot nicer. They also have some goats, sheep, chickens, a donkey and a long horn.

Loved this charming spot! Great amenities, clean and well-cared for. Quaint touches like chickens and goats and nice bathrooms/showers, as well as wi-fi and a little store.

This campground is one of the best to stay in for a few days.

Well maintained grounds and full hook ups. Very nice office/grocery store. Appreciated be escorted to the site so there were no issues about parking, etc. Lots of green grass which was a nice surprise. Loved the farm animals (donkey, goats, cattle, chickens, sheep, etc.). There are still renovations being made, e.g., the restrooms and showers.

We only stopped for one night on our journey but it was great. Very clean and well maintained. The kids enjoyed all the farm animals and friendly staff that talked to them about them. We needed a mechanic to fix something on the motorhome and they gave us a reliable one who came right out.

Mark Bowles

Friendly staff, nice store, clean laundry with new machines.

Michelle Griggs

Conveniently located. Clean campground and very nice folks.

This was a super convenient overnight stop for us. They have big, level pull thru sites located on a farm environment complete with cows, goats, chickens, sheep and a donkey. The owners were super friendly and escorted us to our site. Our dog also loved it. Great stop!
