We are an ideal location for reunions, group gatherings, fishermen, hunters, and rafters wanting to explore Southwest Oregon’s diverse recreational opportunities.

We are halfway between the cities of Medford and Roseburg. Located only 15 miles north of the charming city of Grants Pass the gateway to the mighty Rogue River. The historic Wolf Creek Inn, and the mining ghost town Golden are only a short drive away. Grave Creek runs within walking distance of our campground on its path to meet the Rogue River.

Beautiful small camp ground The dog Park was a great time for the dogs to run and play The only complaint I have is one of the employees letting their dog run around off leash in the camp ground

Excellent campground and staff. The extremely poor WI-FI prevented me from giving 5 stars. However staff told me they were upgrading the WI-FI to a commercial account to increase strength and bandwidth.

Only there overnight but, nice little place to stop

This place is a dump that gave us a bad feeling. After checking in, took a look around at the people, dirt and broken pavement, and decided to keep driving.

We stayed in one of the covered wagons. It was very fun. Definitely a novelty experience. And huge on the inside! The staff was extremely friendly. We enjoyed their suggestions and had a few good laughs with them. Also the bathrooms were top notch for camping!! (Glamping!)

Love this park. Very clean. Really nice and accommodating owners. This is our go to place when going to Grant's Pass to ride the Jetboats. Will be coming back.

Nice park and the staff did a good job contacting me about wild fires near by.

We came by around 6pm there was no one at the counter, the site is very noisy because it’s right by the highway. We decided not to stay, came by the next day and again there wasn’t really anyone to talk to, tried contacting the site by email and got no replay.

The campground is great. Nice swimming pool, his and hers bikes, the grounds are kept up and clean, the cabin we stayed in was very clean. Would highly recommend Sunny Valley Campground.

Beautiful location. Super helpful friendly staff, clean bathrooms and showers, little store, and a nice cold pool to beat the heat. Each site has a table bbq, water, and fire ring, cabins are comfy and the place had nice little trails to walk on. My cat enjoyed being able to roam around safely, and the little cabin was a perfect chance to unwind and appreciate my surroundings. No TV!!!

The campground was clean. The staff was very friendly. Need more bathrooms The road noise was a issue. They should build a fence or wall around the camp to help block the noise. The wasp population was a issue too. They need to hang wasp prevention bags up. The pool is smaller then pictured, but we did enjoyed it when it was not crowded. The question we always ask in our family is would you come back?? The answer is yes.

We booked 3 cabins for a week long family camping trip and had a great time! The new owners are fun, helpful and have set up a campground that is convenient, comfortable and clean. Including unique features to please the whole family and a great location for enjoying southern Oregon.

Campground Response

Thank you Carla! We look forward to seeing you next time!

This campground was a refreshing stop full of kindness! We were only able to stay a short night but were greeted by a friendly host and the most awesome (handsome) bulldog, Guapo. My girls and I only wish we could have allowed more time in our travels here. Very relaxing atmosphere and the bathroom/showers were the BEST of all our camping stops.

Great RV campground with all the amenities, hot showers, pool, fun playground for little ones, etc. We were tent campers and the four stars instead of five is because some of the sites are not very tent-friendly (we switched from the one we had reserved) although all are available for tents or RVs. It’s also really close to the highway so if you are tent camping you definitely hear the highway noise, not a dealbreaker but just something to be aware of. On the plus side, it’s a great place to stop for the night while on a long road trip since it’s so close to the road and there are laundry facilities too! We had a nice night in site #1 with out tent and our daughter loved being so close to the playground.

I've been traveling for 2 weeks with my trailer and this is my absolute favorite campground. I've been telling everyone what lovely people own and run this campground. Lovely, lovely peaceful place. Don't miss looking for the Sasquatch.
