One of the larger state parks in Michigan having over 400 campsites. As is typical of all state parks, there is electricity available, but no water or sewer hookups. This park has the largest dump station I have ever seen with 7 lanes. At any rate, some of the sites are in the shade and some are in the open. Like many parks in Michigan, this one is boat friendly, and you can moor your boat in the lake for the duration of your visit. The shaded sites especially are huge, and you may find you need an extension electrical cord if you don't have at least 50 ft available. Like all Michigan parks, this park is over 50 years old, so they are more adept to medium sized campers - 35ft and shorter - but I had no trouble with a 30ft Class C. There however are a few sites suitable for big rigs. There is a small convenience store outside the park, but otherwise there are no retail places within a few miles, so shop for your necessities prior to arriving. One caution, check the website prior to reserving as some of the sites, especially those furthest from the lake are not level. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
