Campsites were marked but there was no clear idea how far back they went. Since they aren't well defined had a lot of people just walk right through our camp. Our campsite (70) was LOADED with stickers. All over us, our tent, the toddler, so that was miserable. Did appreciate the porta potties but this place really needs a shower house. There was only one that we saw and it was pretty rough.

Over all a really good place to ride. The only issue we had water water. Pressure was in and out, two camp sites share one hydrant and there wasn’t a splitter. Luckily I had one. But over all we had a really good time will go back

Was not expecting to do much riding at a 180 acre riding mud park in august. It was hot and dusty, but was expecting that. The park is def way out in the country, we finally made it to the entrance gate and got a huge surprise. The entrance fee was 65 dollars per person. We were told it was advertised this was an event weekend and its 65 a person for the event. The event was a guided night ride, bounty hole and live music saturday night. Ok not over charging for an event weekend, but "Soggy Bottoms event weekends", and almost any other park I have ever been to event weekends are drastically different. Lets start with the Friday night guided night ride. Supposed to start at 10pm. At 10 about 75-100 vehicles are all surrounding the bar area but no one knows who is leading the ride. 45 minutes of people wandering around asking who is leading and then 3 of the large big tire trucks (over 45" tire trucks) just start heading out. everyone just starts following. Straight to the river. All the small tire vehicles are either sinking in the river crossing or turning around. completely unorganized and a disaster. We went across the river, stopped and helped a few people get unstuck and towed one back to camp. Hung out at camp the rest of the night. Live music was local guys rapping or whatever you call the new country. Not horrible but not great either. The last group was absolutely horrible but enough beer and anyone sounds ok. The bounty hole was fun but was 10 vehicles and very short. Maybe a total of one hour. Now lets get to our cabin. I have stayed in several other parks cabins and this was by far the worst cabin we have ever stayed in. This was as bad as an old motel 6 in the ghetto of Dallas bad. We paid over 300 for the two nights. You pull up and its a very old single wide trailer that has been converted. You go to open the door and the bottom half flaps but the door is still locked. There is a push bar on the door and a door knob. After playing with the door knob for a few moments we got it to open. Now the awesomeness begins. You walk into a single room, maybe 25 by 12 that has 2 queen beds, one mini fridge, one lamp, and a bathroom. No tables or other night stands. Nothing to put anything on. The beds did have bedding on them but when removing them scorpions flew out. Now this is the south and I have lived around scorpions but never had them crawling around my bed. Being in the south and in August it was 104 when we arrived. We had 2 window unit AC's that were blowing. We get into the room and its roughly 87-90 degrees. One AC is blowing hot air and the other one is way too small for this room and is kind of blowing cool air. All together this was a crazy expensive weekend for nothing. I did not expect a ton of riding as its a mud park and only 180 acres. For what they were charging the amenities should of been well above where they were at. Thank god they had a bar! But watch the decking around the bar, it is lethal! DJ

Worst cabins we have stayed in at an ATV park! Scorpians in the beds! AC pumped out WARM air and the other window unit kept shutting down beeping then restarting...ALL NIGHT LONG! Luckily our cabin had a small fridge whereas the other in our group paid the same amount without a fridge and the second bed was on the floor. The door is very difficult to lock/unlock as the handle looks like it has been jimmied open several times. Bathroom water pressure is hit-and-miss. Sometimes you got great pressure, other times it was a trickle. The park had decent trails. It was hot & dusty and they only came around once to water down the roads around campsites. Pricing...be sure to check every place they may post things. The website did not mention an event but they said they posted on Facebook. So when we showed up, expecting a $10 riding fee plus their $5 live music (most weekends) fee...we ended up paying $65 PER Person for an 'event' which was a bounty hole for lady mudders (10 participants) and a live band on Saturday. For a $500 weekend, I won't be back!

Very frustrating that we weren't notified of the main person that was supposed to be there had canceled, Catfish Cooley. We didn't know until we got there. Should have been told and given an option to cancel. Also nothing was coordinated very well including the night ride and not many entry's in the mud competition. Overall a dud in my opinion

Pretty disappointed!! We paid $65 a piece plus campsite fees to see and ride with Catfish Cooley. We was told he canceled. The diva mud bog consisted of 4 buggies and 4 trucks. We came down 1 night early and was told they were not giving refunds and wouldn't even give Thursday night free. Cost an additional $45.00. No electric and the water pressure was so low you couldn't even take a shower, sometimes no water.

I had a great time and I hope to spend time there again. I had a little trouble getting in but the staff was super helpful especially Sully. The River festival made for a great time, riding the trails was a blast and the river makes for a nice place to cool of and relax.

Impressively friendly & down home staff. My wife and I spent the weekend. We felt like family within half an hour on site. Had the most incredible time. Cabin #3 was super cold in this extreme heat. The queen bed was amazingly comfortable. Only used one but there are two queen beds in there. Drove the truck down to the beach, put our recliner chairs in the water, stuck an umbrella next to the recliner, enjoyed music while taking back a few cold ones. Was provided a guided tour in a side by side. Roasted hot dogs over a bon fire. Watched a big family of deer cross the river as the sun was setting. Could go on, but you will only get the full experience by going yourself. Debbie is the best hostess you’ll ever have the pleasure of meeting. Booked location 6 months in advance. Arrived 2 hours after checkin time to a locked gate. No attempt to call us was made. When we called we were told they were not open during the week. Why did they take my reservation for Wednesday 7/5. They did allow us access but the camp was empty and no facilities open. When I asked for a refund it was refused because they waited for us all day. Reservation should never have been accepted and a refund is due

Campground Response

When you checked in at 5 pm, I let you into the park even though you refused to pay our $10 entrance fee per person for the ATV park. This is manditory for everyone regardless if they riding the trails or not. Our park is an ATV park, if you had a SXS or 4 wheeler there would have been plenty to do. That's what people come to do, ride their 4X4's, swim and fish in the river. I do not claim to have a restaurant, we have food trucks come in on weekends. We have many people come in during the week to ride when others are not around. I assumed that was what you were going to do when I first saw your reservation. Your visit timing was bad since it was on a Wednesday the day after a very busy 4th of July. We had had a very busy 7 days before you arrived with 1000s of people, most of our campers had just pulled out hours before you arrived because everyone had to go back to work. We also ask campers to arrive by 3 pm and if not, to please call. You never called and I assumed you were a no show. I don't have great cell service down there and tried to pull your phone number up on the roverpass website but it would never load. We apologize for your inconvenience, but I don't believe you were due a credit. If you expected a big crowd and everything to be open, I suggest you make a reservation during the weekend when we are open to the public or bring a side-by-side next time. The river beach is beautiful and it doesn't sound like you walked out there since you say there was nothing to do.

We had an amazing time! We came on our bicycles and received a warm welcome from all the staff members. They were really flexible and let us choose any open campsite once we got there, since the area we reserved was a little crowded. There's a lot of room there and you could pick from sites where there were a lot of people having a good time, or you could pick a more secluded and quiet spot. The pub was really cool and had sodas, beer, snacks, and football on TV. We were there halloween weekend and they had a fish fry (all you can eat for $5) and a costume contest. We were delighted when the owner came by on a tractor right after sunset and invited us to be the first people to go on a free haunted hayride! We had an awesome time all weekend and would absolutely return again.

Very clean and quiet campsite. A lot of shade and some of the primitive campsites were somewhat private. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was an error in the reservation process as there are no reserved campsites along the river. We were told that we could camp there but the risk of getting stuck in the sand was very high. Quick ride to the river on your ATV from the campsite. We rode many miles both ways on the river bank. Water level was down but we still got soaked in some places and found a few spots to swim. There are really no trails to ride. The one trail we could ride had a lot of mud pits but of course they were dry due to no rain. Most of the other trails were marked with no trespassing signs. If you like more challenging trails this is not a place for you. It is great though for a day trip if you just want to get the ATV out or a trip with kids.

Campground Response

We apoligize for the confusion about the tent campsites out on the river. Roverpass suggested we number the beach tent sites even tho they really don't have campsite numbers. Since we realize its too confusing for our customers, we have disabled the beach tent sites online for now. We really need to get a map made because we have a lot of trails that you may have missed. The no trespassing marked trails are not our property. We only claim to have 120 acres with river access.

This place was truly awesome. We had a great time, cabin is fairly new and was very clean. The cabin is only furnished with 1 bed (Full/queen) **comfy**, 2 side tables, lamps, sheets, pillows, blanket, 1 towel/hand towel and wash cloth, hand soap, bar soap, 1 roll of toilet paper, ceiling fan, A/C Unit. Definitely more of a studio style not alot of extra space. There wasn't any light bulbs in the lamps or outside porch lights, also there wasn't a cooking grill but there is a picnic table I'm leaving this info here so others can come prepared. There are 2 porches front and back. A bit of a black ant problem we kept finding them in the cabin not enough to bug us. Definitely in a more private area. Overall with the noise of ATV/UTV(s) all night the cabin was nice, quite and cool we will absolutely stay here again, staff is so kind and we loved Brenda at the food bus she kept our stomachs full all weekend long. Truly a great place to visit and have fun!
