There has never been a better time to check out the natural beauty Skokomish Park at Lake Cushman has to offer. Formerly known as Camp Cushman or Lake Cushman State Park, the property has over 500 acres with three boat-launch ramps on the 41,500 feet of freshwater shoreline on Lake Cushman. The natural beauty of the area can be explored on any of the trails that are also mountain bike friendly. The eastern part of the Olympic Peninsula has loads of great trails in the Olympic National Park. Trailheads nearby include Big Creek, Mount Rose, Mount Ellinor, Dry Creek, Copper Creek, Wagonwheel Lake, Staircase Rapids, Big Log Camp and Flapjack Lakes. Get in touch with nature at Skokomish Park!

Spent 3 nights here. RV pull thru's are large, back-ins a bit tighter, but with reasonable privacy with tree cover. Pets permitted. Restrooms OK, not great. Free hit water shower in both men and women's restrooms, but a lot of campsites serviced by limited restrooms during peak season. In late May, park was nearly empty. Boat ramp onsite and we could easily put kayaks in water for a beautiful afternoon in the lake. Close to hiking trails in Olympic National Forest (Mt Rose & Mt Ellinor) and southern end of Olympic Np (Staircase). Lots of walking trails and small general store. Closest full service grocery store = 10 miles in Hoodsport. National Park Ranger Station also in Hoodsport with local maps, etc. Firewood = $7 and pull thru site = $39 per night with full hookups - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
