Sims Mesa

Overview

The Sims Mesa Campground is located at the Navajo Lake State Park, New Mexico. Enjoy spectacular views of the forestry around the lake, and excellent fly fishing along the San Juan River nearby. After a long, peaceful day of fly fishing, look forward to hiking and biking the intrepretive trails around the water, and tons of space for picnicking or exploring. And if you like to enjoy watersports other than fishing, get off the land and head back to the water for water skiing, cruising, scuba diving, canoeing, kayaking and even swimming. Albuquerque is an hour away, so enjoy the shopping, fine dining and sight seeing there. We hope you can catch the yearly balloon festival! At a high elevation and serene environment, you'll have an amazing time at this park and surrounding areas!
