I was a late season tent camper( 2rd week October) . Beware if you are going late in the season. They closed the bathrooms near the tent sites. There is another beautiful heated bathroom with the best of everything...but its a 5 minute walk. Which doesn't work at night for me. So back into the bar, the check-in lady, made an exception and put me close to the fancy bathroom, in a site they normally don't use and at no extra cost. Then I was happy as a lark. But...don't expect to sleep in during duck hunting season. Gun fire at 30min before dawn. So no more sleep after that. ITs a beautiful marsh, loved hearing the owls at night. If I had an RV, 5 stars!

Nice spacious sites for longer campers. Easy to maneuver through the grounds. Was glad I filled with water since hookup was canceled just 2 days before arrival.

Only odd downside is the placement of water and electric for some sites but as long as you have extra hose/cord you should be fine. No on-site wood purchase either is weird as well but passable. Overall great experience. Will definitely visit again.

We were not notified the water would be SHUT OFF this last weekend, or anyone else in the campground. NO VERY HAPPY.

Water was turned off too early. Even with temp's in the 30's at night and upper 40's during the day, the pipes were not going to burst! That's common knowledge. Showers need seats at each individual shower, not one bench across the room. Other than that, it's a great campground!

We enjoyed the howling of the coyotes in the evening and the hooting of an owl at night..the bath rooms were very clean and comfortably warm in the fall morning..loved having a restaurant on site and enjoyed the observation tower..

Beautiful park with nicely spaced campsites. Wish water hookups were a bit more convenient. Lovely setting with lots of opportunities to enjoy nature. So nice to have a great restaurant in site. Very close to 'downtown' Elkhart Lake yet in the country. Highly recommend

Wonderful stay. Stayed for 3 weeks. The sites are spacious and the grass was well kept. The addition of brand new bathrooms was just what this park needed. Downside was the temperature of the water in the showers. Shower starts out too hot to take a shower then runs out of hot water. Had to shower in cold water.

Last weekend was our first stay at the Marsh Campground, and it will not be the last! We loved everything about it ... level paved sites surrounded by beautifully manicured grass and woods. The TV reception was not great, but hey I'll take the nice trees for ambience/privacy over watching TV! Three Guys and a Grill restaurant at the campground was fantastic too. Food great, and our server Meghan outstanding! We ate there two nights in a row! The location close to Road America is a plus as we go to a lot of races too. All in all our experience was FANTASTIC!!! Highly recommend the Marsh Campground!

The new bathrooms are a long way from the tent area, practically forcing one to drive. Also, there are only two stalls and three washbasins in the Mens.

The campgound itself is lovely. The marsh area and dam around it needs clean up. Congrats on the new beautiful building. Hopefully that will attract some attention to beautify the marsh area and dam. The restaurant was great, staff was friendly and helpful. It was not evident how to check in but we figured things out.

Great staff at the restaurant. Camp site was nice. But the water spigots need to be individually on sites. The restrooms were immaculate. Surprise to see pelicans at the marsh. Looks like many people like fishing in this area. Close to some bike paths and hiking. Aldo near the road America race track. I would visit this campground in the future.

I'm not a fan of camping in a large field, but it was pretty empty and we had a nice spot by the trees. The nearest toilet was quite a hike and some of the fire pits were full of trash and beer cans. However, the staff were very friendly, the new toilet and shower block was amazing, and the food at the bar was really good.

This is a nice county park campground. Most sites are large and grassy with asphalt pads and are pretty level. The bar/restaurant is very convenient and has good food and drinks. There are no full hook up sites but there is a dump station. Bring a lot of water hose if you want to connect your city water line. There is a chart on the web site that shows the distance from each site to the closest water connection.
