Shady Side Campground

Overview

The Shady Side Campground is located at Sumner Lake, New Mexico and the reservoir is a popular spot for visitors. If you like to fish, you'll fall in love with Shade Side and all the crappie, walleye, catfish and large mouth bass you can catch, and if you fish after dusk, get ready for some spectacular sunsets. Still out after night fall? Get a blanket or find a picnic table to enjoy stellar stargazing through a clear, unpolluted atmosphere. There's also plenty of space on the water for sports such as boating, swimming and kayaking, so bring your equipment for adventures at the reservoir! There are also quite a few deer and waterside birds so keep your eyes open, and your cameras handy.
