Friendly, clean, quiet in-town RV park. Nice pull through site with trees and birds. Friendly check in and a shaded front porch to relax on. Bathrooms very clean. Although fairly close to Highway 2, we didn't hear highway traffic. Occasionally train whistle, but nothing that disturbed your sleep. Close to a park and Eugene's Pizza. Would stay here again.

Nice place great hosts

It’s a lovely little family owned park that the owners are fixing up. Very nice people. A big city park right next door through the gate in the fence at space 25. Definitely worth a stay!

William Panas

A nice place to stay with a friendly proprietor. More shade than most RV parks we’ve stopped at along Rt 2

James Leffert

We only stayed one night but we had a convenient site that we could pull thru. The staff was very accommodating.

We just stopped for a night. Very easy access from hwy 2. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Bathroom and free showers; clean and easy code to get into. Very quiet on the Friday night we were there. Will stay again if going through area.

Very polite staff. Quiet. Shady spots. Showers very nice. Spots could be flatter.

It’s a place to park overnight but that’s about the only positive comment I can make. The bathrooms were raw. No doors on the stalls, not clean-so no privacy at all. On top of that the office was NEVER attended. When we called the number on the door, there were three incoming units waiting. When she came in she did nothing but complain about her day…things get tuff sometimes but hey, we’re on vacation. So much for customer service. She included in her dialog, “you wanna buy a campground?” Somebody please help that girl out.

Very convenient to Route 2. Quiet with shade. Owner/Manager was very nice - knew we were biking and brought us a map of MT bike trails.

Debra Barbour

Awesome park....easy in and out! Very nice lady at the flexible when we had to switch our reservation to a different night because our truck broke down. We would definitely recommend this campground for a quick stop over while traveling. Very quiet too!

Randy Washburn

Everything was nice. The owners were pleasant and friendly. Bathrooms were good and clean. Quiet and restful.

Nice RV park. Not a a lot of bell’s and whistles but the essentials. Clean showers and restrooms plus very nice and helpful people enjoyed my short stay.

We had a nice stay at Shady Rest! Cody in the office was very nice! We had a nicely shaded spot (albeit a bit windy) and it was a great “base camp” to venture north to Opheim and beyond. If ever passing through that part of Montana we would definitely stay there again!
