The Shadow Ridge RV Resort is located in the beautiful town of Ajo, Arizona. Campers can look forward to historic sight seeing, including the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge and an open pit from the area's mining history. The Ajo Mountain Drive is an excellent scenic route, but if you're also looking for man made beauty, the downtown plaza is gorgeous! Be sure to take advantage of numerous local restaurant in central Ajo while you're there, to get a true taste of the culture and creativity of the town.

Friendly owners and staff. They were very accommodating and pleasant. Very clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. Large and small sites, all very nice. Clubhouse with pool tables, reading room and covered screen room. Outdoor patio with barbecue, fire pits, and fountain. Nature trail on the property leads to an off property trail up the mountain. Lots of wildlife including; hummingbirds, quail, rabbits, doves, javelina and the occasional coyote. The winter weather is beautiful. It was the best in the country this year according to weather reports we watched. Ajo is a little town with all the basic necessities; grocery, gas, post office, small item shopping, a few restaurants and pizza. Nearby attractions are Cabeza Prieta Wildlife Refuge, Tohono O'Odham Reservation, and Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
