Campsite was amazing. We typically pull a camper these days but we were in the area for something else on Saturday and thought we would take a chance tenting here as it was only 1 night and a ways to pull a camper. We took advantage of the swim beach which was great had a raft to swim out to and jump off. Nice sandy beach when you got a few feet out. Some of the regulars had told us the lake had rose 2 foot in the last week due to rains so who knows where rocks usually start. Took advantage of the mini golf course, and they had a movie in the loft of the barn that I took 1 of my daughters to. Bathrooms and showers by tent sites were in great shape. It was a short trip but we had a great time. It is about 4 hours from home but we enjoyed so much we would definitely consider going back to camp.

Super cute and really chill. You can tell it is family owned but in a really lovable and endearing way. We had a campsite right on the lake. Most of the campsites were on the lake or a very quick walk to the shore. Beautiful sunset swimming. Clean facilities. Friendly staff and also friendly campers. I would definitely stay here again!

The docks and the swimming area were the highlights for our kids. Nice and clean buildings. Beautiful scenery. The only thing we didn't like was the insane amount of acorns that were constantly falling on us and the camper. But I think that was just our particular site.

This was our second time getting to stay at Schreier's, and our family absolutely loved it. Marcia and the staff were great at getting us accommodations where we had requested, with a small dock for fishing right by our site. We were able to put our kayak in right there at the site and enjoy the calm and beautiful waters while our kids fished off the dock. Outgoing and friendly staff definitely always make the stay even better! There's plenty for kids of all ages to do here, and the Saturday night movie in the loft is a favorite of the kids. This is probably at this point our favorite campground of any place that we've stayed, and we look forward to getting back next year!

My husband and I stayed there while visiting some friends last year, and we had such a great time! Marcia and her staff were really helpful and pleasant, and got us a nice spot, closest to the water. The space was clean and beautiful, and we loved being surrounded by so much greenery! We spent most of out time on the water, and caught quite a few fish, but there's also plenty of open space on land for hiking. We were going to bring our bikes to hit the trails, but forgot them funny enough. We're definitely going back this year and will bring the cycles! It's definitely worth a trip!

Campground Response

Thank you so much for your feedback, Davina. We really appreciate it!

Water Amenities

Please clean up after yourself when you are finished in the fish cleaning room. This includes wiping of the counter and walls, and washing down the sinks. There is a broom in the wall if you track in mud. Please put all fish cleanings in the pails provided, and place the lid back on top. Do not put cleanings in the dumpsters - state law prohibits this. All boats need to be parked in the boat parking lot or back - they are not allowed at site. Trailers need to be brought back to the parking lot on top after you finish putting the boat in the water. This keeps the bottom parking lot from getting congested. The boat landing is for all our guests to use, but everyone must follow our rules. No boats will be tied to our docks overnight. The campground has wonderful docks for fishing, and you may tie up your boats at the dock during the day, but not at the ends where people sit and fish. Boats must not be tied to the dock overnight or during high winds. Winds come up unexpectedly and can cause major damage to your boat and our docks. If you do tie up against our rules and damage occurs to our docks, it will be at your expense! - the campground's insurance company will no longer pay for any damage to our docks due to your negligence, so please take them out at night and during high winds.
