We had a great experience at our overnight at Schreier’s. After having trouble leveling our RV, the owner not only helped us newbies with more blocking but then was kind enough to reassign our lot when we still couldn’t get level. It saved the night! Facilities were clean, the kids had a great time at the playgrounds, and the sun setting over the lake was beautiful.

Owners were great and super helpful! Overall, the camping sites are smaller and mostly crammed super close together. You’re surrounded by fields, the water was quite a hike, and the beach couldn’t fit more than two adults at a time. Overall, just ok!

The spot they picked out was great view, nicely kept with picnic bench and fire pit. View of lake was great just an enjoyable spot.

Had a great time at Schreier’s Labor Day weekend. Staff is friendly and helpful and our campsite was big with lots of tree cover. The facilities were clean and they offer a ton of stuff to do. The lake was great for boating. Will definitely be back.

Great campground. This was our second year taking our 5 Grandkids camping here. So much to do and very well taken care of. Playgrounds, mini-golf, shuffleboard, small arcade, movie night, sand volleyball -- something for everyone!

We stayed at Schreier’s with a focus on hiking the state park trails. This was a mid week stay and the campground was very quiet. Staff was very friendly and let us drop out trailer early so we could start our hike. OK, the road in was very dusty, very. The second day it rained, road became muddy. We arrived home refreshed and the truck/trailer looked like we enjoyed the trip, which we did. Nice facilities, road access was the only downside.

Fantastic campground with so many options for activities. We had our five Grandkids (13 down to 6 years) with us and they swam, fished, played mini golf and shuffleboard. There are at least three different playgrounds which the younger ones loved. Schreier's have obviously put so much love and care into this campground; and were very, very nice every time we (or the kids) went to the office. We look forward to going back soon.

Nice campground!! We were in our own little area right by the basketball court and barn. That was nice. Saturday night movie, mini golf, nice swimming area. Kids had fun going to the game room. Would definitely love to go back!

We stayed for a week. Campground, showers, & bathrooms were all clean and well kept. Marcia the owner was very kind & helpful. Lake was a little bit dirty (algae), but what can you do about that? Mini golf was fun too. If you don’t mind driving a little, there’s plenty of things to do around Currie. We saw the end o line museum, pipestone national park, Laura Ingalls museum in Walnut Grove. Lots of people there over the 4th, but that’s to be expected.

Campsite was amazing. We typically pull a camper these days but we were in the area for something else on Saturday and thought we would take a chance tenting here as it was only 1 night and a ways to pull a camper. We took advantage of the swim beach which was great had a raft to swim out to and jump off. Nice sandy beach when you got a few feet out. Some of the regulars had told us the lake had rose 2 foot in the last week due to rains so who knows where rocks usually start. Took advantage of the mini golf course, and they had a movie in the loft of the barn that I took 1 of my daughters to. Bathrooms and showers by tent sites were in great shape. It was a short trip but we had a great time. It is about 4 hours from home but we enjoyed so much we would definitely consider going back to camp.

Super cute and really chill. You can tell it is family owned but in a really lovable and endearing way. We had a campsite right on the lake. Most of the campsites were on the lake or a very quick walk to the shore. Beautiful sunset swimming. Clean facilities. Friendly staff and also friendly campers. I would definitely stay here again!
