Sandy Hill Family Camp

9 miles west of the town of Quantico. Older RV park that we stayed at 9-30 thru 10-3. Park on the Nanticoke River with a marsh next door. Most spots are taken by seasonal guests including the best spots by the Nanticoke River. Management very accommodating and friendly. Bathhouse and laundry room, older and needs some TLC -- older wooden doors and concrete floors. Sites are water, electric and sometimes grey water dump; most are pretty level. Some have fire rings and picnic tables. Small playground. Park has dump station. Has small store and rec hall with old time video games and pool tables. Looks like they have a wagon for hay ride at certain times. Small beach for swimming, boat launch, dock for fishing. Has activities from time to time but none the weekend we were there.
