Rules

General Policies

1. A $10 cancellation fee applies to all cancellations. Cancellations must be made prior to 7 days or more of the scheduled arrival date or a 1 day fee applies. 2. Lot rent is for 2 adults only. 3. Children 6 and under are free 4. Additional people are $3 a day. $15 a week and $45 a month. 5. Children MUST be 14 years old to enter the pool area without adult supervision and MUST be 12 years old to use the Rec. 6. Hall without adult supervision, adult meaning, 18 years or older. 7. Boats – must be parked in designated storage lot and not on your site or any empty site. Limit of 2 vehicles per site. 8. Golf Carts – are permitted in the park only if driven by someone with a valid drivers license.

Pet Policy

1. Pets are welcome at Rustic Sands Resort Campground - Free of Charge. 2. Maximum 4 pets per campsite/RV site. 3. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. 4. Pets should not be left unattended at any time. 5. Please be kind to your neighbors and always clean up after your pets. 6. Sorry, No Aggressive dogs allowed at the campground. Please call for more information. 7. No excessive barking allowed at the park.

I hate doing reviews like this and I totally understand this area was devastated by hurricane Michael and it takes time to rebuild. But, there are better places to stay than this place. The pictures are not a very good description of the place. I don't understand how you can call this a RV Resort when there are NO RV RESORT Amenities on the property! Our site was a mud hole with no stone. The Tiki bar looks like it hasn't been used in years. Wifi was weak, no cable, sewer connections covered up with dirt, no lighting, run down mobile homes and permanent residences working on their cars. We left before our time was up and went somewhere else. Didn't even ask for a refund. Maybe they can use that money to buy some stone at least.

Have not stayed all winter but have been there during fall & winter months. Great place. Snowbirds seem to really like it. Stayed there many times. Nice staff. Nice laundry, close to grocery store & "cutsie" shops. Killer Seafood is wonderful. Close to the beach, about a mile away. If you're military, Tyndall AFB is very close.
