Jennifer Sondgeroth

The campground was pretty quiet, laundry facilities were free and bath house was clean. I never saw anyone from the campground while there so if you’re an introvert it’ll be perfect for you. Online booking and they don’t require a check in or out stop. A decent amount of campers there seem to be long term campers.

Campground Response

Thanks for the review, Jennifer! We're glad you enjoyed a peaceful stay. While we do offer self check-in/out, our team is onsite working most days and tries to say hello to new guests at least once, sorry we missed you! We hope you'll come back and visit us again in the future. Thank you for your business!

Giles Almond

Quiet and secluded, nice pond nearby (camper said he’d caught 8 lb bass), reasonably good access and site spacing. Good place for walking. Bath house facilities looked clean. WiFi normal for a campground - slow. One bar cell signal.

Campground Response

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, Giles! We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay at RHF and found our facilities/amenities clean, comfortable and accommodating. Thank you for your business!

Rural Hill Farm truly is middle Tennessee's hidden gem! We have been traveling for work for 4 years now and this place has been the best by a long shot! Not only are you surrounded by beauty, but it is so peaceful, quiet, and clean -- even when they have their venue events! RHF is very well managed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! If/when we are ever back in the area, they will be our first call!

Campground Response

Thank you for your kind words, Laci! It was a pleasure having you all with us for an extended stay. Thank you for your business!

Emily and staff were wonderful and very responsive! My husband and I stayed for 2 months. Such a relaxing location- if your looking for quiet and wildlife viewing, this is the place! They also provide internet and free laundry facilities. Also, a great location just outside Mount Juliet and minutes to Nashville. We would definitely stay again!

Rick Curtis

2.0
The place was quiet. For the size of the cabin and the beds being horribly uncomfortable, I felt that it was overpriced. The beds are so uncomfortable that I would have slept in the floor if I could have found the extra blankets that was supposed to be in the cabin. The dishes that were provided were dirty. The bowls had pet hair in them, and the skillet looked to be rinsed and put away. Other than those things, the rest of the cabin was fairly clean.

Campground Response

Rick, thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We are very sorry to hear that the bed was not to your liking in our small cabin and that some of the dishes were not clean. We regularly receive high marks for cleanliness, it is regrettable that this time we did not completely earn those from you. As we communicated upon booking and in your check in document, we are always happy to help answer any questions, accommodate requests or rectify any issues that may arise, however, we are unable to do so if we are not made aware of these things during the stay. We hope you'll come visit us again in the future and give us another opportunity to serve you. Thank you for your business.

Sara Poole

4.0
Beautiful peaceful property tucked away, yet close to shopping and restaurants! I was there for 7 months. I watched the beans grow. Leaves bud out and turn to gold. I saw wildlife everyday and made lifetime friends. I kinda wished there was a pool or hot tub but I was close to lake swimming spots and my dog loved the farm pond and the geese! It's also a great place for a big get together as their cabins are pretty cool! It's only 20 min to downtown Nashville and an hour from a half dozen waterfalls and the jack Daniels distillery...the owners are great folks too.

Campground Response

Thank you for the review, Sara! It was a pleasure having you with us at the farm for an extended stay. We hope you’ll come visit us again soon. Thank you for your business!

This is an amazing place to stay very quiet, and a beautiful view. The only thing I would recommend is to make sure that you have a water pressure reducer The water is coming in at 80 psi. And would definitely stay there again
