Ross Hill Park Family Campground

We have stayed a few times a year for the past four years.The place has alot of potential. Beautiful views of the lake. Great amount of trees for shade. However this place has nothing for the kids to do; no playground. The bath house is run down and not clean. The pond is completely neglected but open for swimming. Campers are not regulated; they walk thru your site, use your water/electric, are loud/disrespectful and many do not clean up after their dogs. Many sites remain open even though they always say they are booked. Grounds are poorly maintained as well. We hope the new owners bring this local favorite back to the gem it once was.

I adore family campgrounds and this place really goes all out to ensure everyone in the family is taken care of! The staff was so friendly and helpful we felt so welcomed. The sites were rather large with easy access for our big rigs. Everything was always clean and calming. The aura here is very serene and relaxing. It was no wonder everyone was always smiling. I liked how many activities they had to do, I did wish there was some more but we all were able to do what we enjoy and relax,, which is all that matters.
