Roadrunner Lake Resort is one the best options for seniors over 55 looking for a retirement community in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. All of its 600 plus sites have hookups for sewage, water, and electric. WiFi is only available at the clubhouse, but with all there is to do, it's unlikely you'll miss it. The park offers exceptionally clean facilities, resort quality amenities and service. Activities on sites include: five billiard tables, two pools, two heated spas, and an area for mini-golf. The campground also hold a number of classes in art, woodworking, and quilting as well as potluck dinners. In the surrounding areas, campers can enjoy viewing and touring the area around Camelback Mountain, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, Crackerjax, Arizona food tours and Piinacle Peak Park. The Scottsdale Birds Nest is also popular as well as the Gilber-Ortega Galleries and the city's diverse spread of restaurants and parks ideal for exploring, hiking and stargazing.
