I think the campsites are too close together especially since they are full hookups. Our picnic table was right next to our neighbor's sewer line. The area is quiet and there is a hike nearby as well as the town of Kemmerer. It is a nice little town to walk around in. There is good proximity to Fossil Butte National Monument.

This park was just ok and we were glad that we only stayed one night. No one was EVER in the office. When we tried to call on the phone number they left, no one answered. The blacktop used for our site and the one next to it was broken from tree roots trying to come through. Their “view of the river” was nit a view until you walked up in the burm behind the site. The river was not visible because of all the over growth. Train tracks right behind the park across the river. 3 trains went through during the time we were there. Would have been nice to know this.

Highly recommend sit #8
Great location by the river and looking out at hillsides. Only communication from site was via text or telephone call. No one was available on site that we were aware of at least. Wireless was there but didn’t seem to work.

A nice little RV park, easy to find and easy to check in. We had a shaded spot near the river and very much enjoyed our stay. It’s close to Fossil Butte NM and several private quarries where you can find fossils. The JCPenny store is worth visiting too. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Only for over night. So was a nice flat spot along with wonderful help from front desk to accommodate our rig into a great spot. Maintenance helped with set up without being asked. Just came over to talk and visit. Friendly people

We absolutely love staying at Riverside RV Park! We visit Kemmerer often and it is the only place we stay when we bring our fifth wheel.

Campground Response

Thank you, we love having you here. Hope to see you again soon.

The owners are very nice and doing their best. Cheryl and Matt were very kind. It is within bike riding distance of everything. Grocery, cafe and pool.

Nice quiet park and very helpful staff. Was perfect for an overnight stay on the way to Utah. No restrooms so come prepared for that , but would definitely recommend this park for a short stay. Close to Fossil Butte, and a cute very small town with a decent grocery store.

Very nice host. Sites are very close together, but for us, we were only going to be there overnight. Pretty area with river right behind our section. Internet was non-existent, in that we could not connect to it even using the password provided. Hookups all worked. Park was fine for an overnight stay.

Campground Response

Thank you for staying with us and your kind review. So sorry about the internet as we have been in constant communication with the company to keep up & running. We do have to reset it sometimes and ask to let us know if there is a problem. Thank you for letting us know and we hope you enjoyed the peace & river:)

The campground has the 3 hookups electric, water & sewer. The cable did not work. There is not anyone that actively works the campground, but it is pretty quiet. They do not have restrooms, or a bath house. There is no reason for them to charge for extra campers or pets since they are not using any extra services. The spaces along the river are pretty short, but have some shade, the pull thru sites are nice, but are lacking shade.

Campground Response

Thank you so much for your kind review as we always as a family owned park strive to give you a great experience. We do charge for extra people since our water & sewer is metered. Also, we love pets and do charge to know where they are and bring more awareness to keep our park clean. We also have a pet area with just added bags & disposal unit. And we ask pet owners to clean up as a rule. However, we do have to pick up after some, fill in holes etc. If alerted, we can test your cable connection & connect to another site if necessary, Our 2nd generation mother is 90, so we are in constant care. . We are on property and available. I wish I could have welcomed you personally. Thanks again for staying with us😊

Sites are a bit tight, but we had a very pleasant time camping here. No restrooms but full hook-ups require only self contained units thus no car, van or tent camping. Some train noise distantly but thankfully no train horns. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and would recommend a stop here to see Fossil Butte National Monument as a destination or on your way to Tetons or Yellowstone NPs.

Quiet location next to hills that have lots of Antelope, which came down next to our camp. Took our Rangers riding up a trail into the hills towards dusk - saw the antelope herd and a beautiful view of the town. On site owners super friendly and came by a couple of times to chat.
