Redman Campground-SLRD

Overview

Redman Campground is located in the beautiful Big Cottonwood Canyon at an elevation of over 8,300 feet, ensuring milder weather than the lower areas of Utah. Under shady fir and pine trees, the site is known for its abundance of vivid wildflowers int he summer and gorgeous colors in the fall months. Big Cottonwood Canyon is known for its tall peaks, hidden lakes and cascading streams. As you'd expect, rock climbing is a popular past time among locals and visitors alike, as well as disc-golf, biking, hiking, wildlife viewing, fly-fishing and canoeing.

The campground contains two group sites and several single and double family sites with picnic tables, flush toilets, campfire rings, water and firewood for purchase. The site does not accommodate pets and is first-come-first-served, so be sure to come early or during the off-season!
