Great weekend. Owners are nice. Cool spot right ON the water and had a fantastic view until the neighbor moved in, but still had view out the back. May come back in June if available. Note: only takes cash for payment no cards

We absolutely LOVED this place! We had the ocean right at our front door, having selected a full moon high tide date was perfect. The beach was absolutely gorgeous with logs cast ashore by wave action - I've read reviews of people complaining that the beach was not pretty oh, dear God go to California if that's what you're looking for. This is rugged Washington, people! This isn't citified, catering to the dainty. It was our first outing in our new RV and it was everything we'd hoped for and we will be returning for a longer stay before much time passes! And it was great that didn't have a leash law we have four pugs, one of which behaves incredibly well off leash, staying within 25 feet always. He loved running on the beach and the other beachcombers welcomed him!

Location can’t be beat when you have an ocean spot. A little bit of upkeep would have made this a 5 star review. Huge potholes and the bathrooms are horrible. Long, but tight spots, so wouldn’t stay in the summer-but it was perfect for a winter get away.

Gina Perrotta

If I could give this place a negative number I would. 1 star is vertygenerous and not an accurate rating. Beaches are beautiful. Yes. This place is a dump. Don’t be tempted to go there because of the beach. There was no one in the office to check in. We stayed in November and they over charged us with summer rates. There’s no upkeep. No grassy areas. No flat areas or picnic tables for each site. Pot holes everywhere. It’s a disgusting mess of mud and dirt. There are broken things everywhere. You can’t walk on the beach in front of the sites because of all the debris and logs. We were charged $45 a night IN NOVEMBER!! There was never anyone in the office and no one ever came to check on us. The beach is not private. While we were paying $45 a night IN NOVEMBER, random people(about a dozen cars) would just drive right in(no campers/paying customers) and just leave their cars on the site and go surfing or walk along the beach. Needless to say we will never be back. Maybe with the police to get my $ back!!

I am being generous with 1 star. Attempted to register twice. No one came to the door. This campground is a dive. There is zero maintenance. The sites are so tight that you can't use your awning. No cement pads. What you have instead is a large pot hole full of mud and water. Very difficult if not impossible to level your rig. I won't stay here again

We had a great site with a very good beach view. Sites are very tight and luckily for us there was no one on either side of us. Hookups were good and we got pretty good tv reception on just antenna. Bathrooms are run down and could use upgrading. Host was awesome. His two little dogs were off leash but stayed around his house and didn’t come into campgrounds. Loved the beach combing -people flying kites and surfing. I would absolutely stay there again the location is worth it.

Marie Watson

My only problem was they do not take cash and I didn't have enough on me but the guy said no problem when I go back into town get it and bring it back I didnt find the bath house, not a problem just used our camper. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. A path easily leading to beach. We would stay again, the view alone is worth the rate.

Kenneth Karraker

The site needs considerable grounds improvement. It is apparent that very little upkeep has been done for a considerable amount of time. The site has a wonderful location. A good amount of TLC would be great improvement.

Beautiful beach area. Easy access to walk for miles on the bay. Owner was friendly and easy to work with. No frills RV park, a little run down. But it feels beachy and casual. Happy to stay here again.

Chad Tuson

Very run down. Very narrow spots. The manager was unprofessional, he pointed to the area we were supposed to go, said you can park in spot 19 but there is a table in your way. I asked if we were supposed to move it, he said yeah or I could hire someone to come move it, very sarcastic. The spot should have been cleared and ready. So then he says we can take spot 18 instead. We do. Later that night he comes and yells at my husband that we are in the wrong spot and facing the wrong direction. Everyone else in that row was facing the same direction as us so we pulled in the same way. There were 2 small dogs roaming unleashed the whole time, overflowing dumpsters. It is on the beach, so that is one positive thing. Would not stay there again.

Barbara Clark

We loved our week days visit. The sites are very close to each other and when large rigs moved in next door to us, paradise changed to just ok. We could hear the folks next to us chatting quietly. But all of that cannot take away from this gorgeous place right on the beautiful beach where cars do not drive. We will be back.

Rufina Badger

Love that place to relax and we try go fishing and walking. I love it!!❤️❤️❤️

We reserved a spot for the 13-15 July 2019. I had some reservations after reading (2018) about large pot holes, unkept property, no management, and no dog leash laws enforcement, especially when I have two dogs. There are numerous positive reviews on this property, these must be that clientele that live there full time and with the loud obnoxious kids. If you are looking for a peaceful weekend next to the ocean...you better think twice, especially for $40.00 a night (RV). Let’s mention the positive. You are next to the beach. That is about it! Unless you don’t mind staying in a RV/camping site that has NO rules, I would not recommend this location. Let’s mention the cons. 1. There is no management support for this RV site, unless you consider the dude who rides around on an ATV waving his hand at everybody...the management. My husband was walking our dogs (both leashed), when he was ATTACKED by three unleashed dogs belonging to a irresponsible owner. We called the police department and they stated the property belongs to Quinault Tribal and they would refer the matter to animal control. Animal control did give the owner a “warning”, but are also limited on what they can do because the land belonging to Tribal. 2. The place is like the Wild West...bring your weapons. It should have a sign posted “USE AT OWN RISK” out front. Right next to the cardboard type sign reading “Quinault RV & Marina”. There is absolutely no one available to help you if you run into a problem with equipment. 3. There is a dog leash policy posted when you enter, but absolutely NO one seems to care about the sign, dogs roaming everywhere to include the so-called managers dogs. Watch your pets! 4. The place is neglected and it’s obvious no profits are being put back into the property. The property resembles a homeless encampment, tarp living and RV vehicles that look abandoned. Both side by side! If you don’t mind being 5 feet from a neighbor with tarp, tents, looking at everything they leave outside, including the kitchen sink, lo kids, loud inebriated adults, this is heaven for you. 5. In final, we left one day early due to the aforementioned thug family with the dogs. They had “thug” teenagers who would walk around our RV spot glaring at us and making rude gestures. We did not feel safe, we felt they were capable of property damage and there would be NO one to report the incident. We will tell all our friends about this trip...NO one should go through what we went through.

I'll be back and will reserve the waterfront. Amazing beach.

Beach front and beautiful! I dont think we could have gotten a more perfect spot! Loved the area! Loved the view! Now for the downside...luckily we brought cash, (normally we dont) payments are only cash or check. Btw, That is not stated anywhere on their web page. Bathrooms, well they arnt too bad I guess. Hubby said all 3 mens toilets were messed up, clogged or leaking though. And lastly, it says everywhere to keep your dogs leashed at all times. Well, I think 2 out of the 10 that were there actually had a leash on. And no it does not count to leash your dog and not tie it up to anything, then let the leash drag behind it... But the hosts are friendly, seemed to do a round every hour or so to check on things. Would I stay again? Yea, I would.

Olivia Simons

We really enjoyed our stay here it’s beach front and that was really nice. The tent sites are a little small and we did have to find our own fire pit. We also didn’t know it was cash only until we arrived, luckily we had cash on us. The manager/owner was a very nice and welcoming man. We will be back this summer :) just a little more prepared this time :)

Nikole Ringer

When they say no frills they mean it. I was very skeptical when we first pulled in, but once we were in our spot with the ocean right outside our door, I was in love! This was the first time I’ve ever been to Ocean Shores where I didn’t drive into town lol! I kept my butt firmly planted on the beach the entire time. We’ll definitely be back!

Shannon Moore

The place over all is pretty run down, office is in the old laundry room of the house, cash only. The manager was very friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms are very scary night or day. The wind blew the power out the night we stayed and I was surprised that they didn’t have a back up generator as we were still charged the full amount and had power only half the time. The beach was very nice and what makes this place one to stay at. I would stay again in the summer.

Heather Dyck

Reserved here due to positive reviews. The location is fantastic but the sites are a bit narrow. It was too windy to put our canopy out anyhow. Did not use the bathrooms. The women's bathroom is very run down looking - at the very least, needs a couple of coats of paint and paper towel dispensers that don't have big rust spots. We were also advised we could only pay using cash which we weren't advised of till we got there. We did not want to use the little cash we had to pay for our camping sites. However, the people that manage the site are very nice.
