Pyramid Lake Marina & RV Park

2500 Lakeview Drive, Sutcliffe, NV, 89510

Pyramid Lake is known as being North America's most beautiful prehistoric desert lake and home to many year round recreational activities.

Pyramid Lake Marina and RV Park is located near the iconic Nevada town of Reno, and is the perfect camping spot for anyone who loves great casino games, historic sites, activities and outdoor terrain. Plus, RVers at the park can expect warm days, cool nights and clear skies for stargazing and sunset/sunrise viewing.

Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal members maintain residency within their ancestral homelands. The main reservation stretches about 70 to 80 miles northward, encompassing Pyramid Lake and several mountain ranges totaling 1.5 million acres. Paiutes named themselves according to the predominant diet found in their homeland, the Cui-ui being a fish species in Pyramid Lake found nowhere else in the world. Pyramid Lake Paiutes called themselves Cui-ui-dicatta, or Cui-ui eaters. Consider yourself a guest of the Cui-ui-dicatta.

Amenities and Activities

Travelers can expect a ton of great activities near the campground. Some traveler favorites include: canoeing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, fishing, and boating. Amenities at the park include: pull thrus, restrooms, showers, self-service coin-op laundry, beach access, marina, walking trails, 30 amp sites, water and sewerage, badminton, horseshoes, and picnic tables.

Visitors please note that the Park is dated and was created to welcome much smaller RV's than the giant RV's and "glampers" of today. During the hot summer months when campers want to run multiple air conditioning units and other appliances we run into problems. Please use the electrical system conservatively and with care. We advise you to bring a generator to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Visitors can expect great local attractions such as:

- Grand Sierra Resort

- The Peppermill

- The Atlantis

- Mt. Rose

- The National Automobile Museum

- Greater Nevada Field

- Reno Air Racing Association

- The Discovery Museum

RVers at the park can take advantage of the inexpensive RV accommodations compared to nearby hotels.

Reserve early to hold your site. Hope to see you soon!

All RVers please call (775)-575-2185 the park is full at this time so please call first. Thank you.

Another great week at the RV Park! Space 17 - everything working fine and staff very congenial. Made reservations on Rover Pass and had to change schedule a couple of days from original reservation - they handled it with no problem. I expect to continue using this very fine facility as long into the future as my ladder holds out!

The camp hosts were awesome and went well beyond what one might expect. Pyramid Lake Marina and RV Park was clean and neat except for the washouts along one of the roads due to heavy rains. The 30A power was an issue as it shut down several times during my two weeks stay at the park, recommend you have a quality surge protector that works with high and low voltages. The park had plenty of space for parking my 5th wheel and a 22-foot jet boat along with two vehicles. I have stayed at the park multiple times and this time it showed significant landscaping improvements thanks to the camp hosts. The other guests in the park were very friendly especially since most were there to fish. I recommend this park and will stay there again next spring. RoverPass is a rip off! They sent me a cancellation notice a week before my start day which was in error. I will be glad when this company is no longer associated with the Marina.

I would like a $36 refund from Rover. They charged me even though I declined. When we arrived no reservation had been received from Rover. We liked the campground and the lake was gorgeous. We liked our fishing guide as well as the folks at Crosby's. The Visitor Center was outstanding with many interesting exhibits. We met nice people at the campground and on the beach. We would go back.

Lake is beautiful, water perfect. There's something about the lake a feeling of peace and I want to go back. Grandchildren had a wonderful time in the water. I will be going back.

The camp grounds are just "OK".We didnt really take advantage of the Bathroom or laundry room. So, I cant not comment on them. The lake is a nice view. Very hot there, 108 degrees when we were there. The site is a long drive from HW80, not sure it is worth the trip. The campgrounds were very loud (someone was shooting off fireworks (7/20 not 7/4/18) till 1 am! Which sucked!!! and this website ,RoverPass is a rip off. I have been overcharged!

The RV park was a great value for the money. We stayed two nights in our class A motor home with full hookups. Quiet, clean and a wonderful view of the lake. Highly recommended.
