The Powell Park Marina is located in the beautiful town of Broaddus, and is a great place to enjoy an easy-going Texas vacation. This site is a nature-lover's paradise, and is visited each year by countless bird-watchers and water enthusiasts. Boating, fishing and other water sports are common at this marina, and many hang around at dusk to enjoy excellent sunset viewing and stargazing. Campers can look forward to plenty of peace and quiet at the campground, while relaxing within a clean and well-maintained park. Just beyond the campground are a number of excellent attractions including the Jackson Hill Marina the Ellen Trout Zoo, zip-lining adventures, Cherokee Trace and the Martin Dies Jr. State Park. Among these activities, visitors can enjoy viewing and interacting with native and exotic animals, or just walk among thriving natural terrains. Lake TomBigBee is a short drive from the campsite, and is a great spot for boating, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. And of course, the area is filled with great restaurants, shops and golf courses.
