Stayed in a cabin. Very clean. Sink, toilet, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker. Everything you need. Shower house was clean and temperature controlled. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend. Will stay again.

Absolutely the nicest, most accommodating family at the powder river campground! Went out west from Florida to do a 7 day DIY hunt and used cabin 6 (elk cabin) as base camp! Unbeatable rates with unmatched care and efforts from the crew at powder river! We will definitely be back for a stay, as well as to see Lynn! Amazing!

David Cudmore

Perfect location for our trip. Owners were great.

Max Clark

Great little spot to set up camp. We camped in the tent area, it would fit about 3 tents or so. Very casual and laid back. Almost everyone in the campground were hunters (including us). Trees offered good wind cover.

Joe & Sherry Peaslee

Stayed here for an overnight stop on the way south. Easy to get to off the freeway. Easy to get into the campground. We stayed in a pull-thru and didn’t have to unhook out 39’ 5th wheel. Level, Gravel parking pad with picnic table. Dog Friendly. Clean bathrooms. Penny checked us in. She was great! Told us of the Chris Ledoux memorial park is n town. The office doubles as a small quilt shop with fabrics and notions. We would stay here again.

Matt Jones

Lee is the consumate host, genuinely concerned about your stay and taking care of all your needs.

David Livingston

We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Josef Palla

Loved the cabins. Had a great time staying here. Friendliest people and very clean.

Kayla Graham

Very nice and quite, Wi-Fi works great. Shower and bathrooms were very nice and clean

Kathryn Hawkins

This was a nice little cabin-had 2 beds, a sink, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Clean. Quiet location. Nice porch to sit on.

April Blevins

Couldn’t beat the hospitality. The hosts were great. Clean bathrooms and the best shower yet. We had wifi, water and electricity. They have a few small cabins too. You can walk about 1/4 mile to restaurants which close at 9 pm. We had the pleasure of listening to Almost Willie Nelson. Highly recommended!

Gayle Lambert

Peaceful campground with friendly staff. Shower facilities are older but very clean. Will definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

Paul Linden

Campground was just as advertised. This is a small RV campground with level, gravel full hookup sites. It is not a “resort”. We stayed overnight in July, 2020. They accept Passport America but you need to contact them directly for the discount.

William Newberg

Everything was fine

Carol McGowan

Very friendly and helpful RV park. Highly recommend. Close to town. Very clean. Quiet. On the river. Perfect stop.

Felicia Kelly

Awesome!!! Everyone was so friendly! We were treated like family! Perfect spot to meet the kids from Laramie and enjoy camping together!

We had power problems and had to move to the second campground on the North end of town West of I-25. That lot did not have power problems. I asked and was told that if you have a power management system it will report a fault and always has. They followed with "we don't have problems though". I did a quick check and saw higher than the normal voltage between neutral and ground. I lost my microwave control board to the fault. They were really nice about moving us and we did not notice the MW until the next day in Montana so no chance to inform the owner.

Sarah Battista

Super basic with somewhat unlevel sites. Overpriced for what you get.

Bill Diguiseppi

Overall good place to stop along I-25. Level sites, good Wi-Fi, friendly manager, and clean bathrooms with copious hot water. And it’s right across the street from a RV repair guy that was a lifesaver :-). It’s no luxury KOA, but much more affordable for the basics that you need.

Cecelia Westerfield

This an easily accessed campground in Kaycee. Spaces are pull thru or back in. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Internet was strong. We stayed for several days and enjoyed the quiet, low key town. The local museum is one of the best we have visited.
