Pete’s Retreat has been voted one of the Top 100 Camping Resorts in North America... it's very clean, nice, neat, and spacious campground with lots of planned weekly activities. There are plenty of golf courses in the area and you'll be located just a block away from the local convenience stores, restaurants, bait, tackle, fuel, and laundry mat.

Just spent 10 days at Pete's Retreat in Aitkin, MN. Actually in Malmo Twp. between Aitkin and Isle. This was a wonderful CG, meticulous grounds, friendly staff, nice pool and bathhouse. Quiet at night, short drive to the great little towns of Aitkin and Isle, both have quaint little downtowns with fun stores to explore. Close enough to drive to Duluth for the day.
