Really liked this campground, we will be back. Very well maintained, clean, and nice amenities. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Want to visit over the summer to enjoy the pool (which looked very nice). Being provided a bulletin/newsletter upon registration with all of the weekend events was a super nice touch. Really felt like a resort touch.

We are new at RVing! This campground was easy to access, pull in sites, full hook ups and nice mostly shaded lots! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The 4.4 mile nature trail around the lake was great. A new swimming pool was being filled up during our stay, looks nice. I appreciated the general store at the campground as I forgot a spatula to flip burgers on the griddle. The grounds were clean.

We spent Father's Day weekend at the Perryville Campground. It was amazing and we plan to return when we can! They had a band playing on Saturday evening that made our experience even more enjoyable! The deluxe site we were assigned was on concrete and we had no problems with any of the sewer, water and 50 amp electric. There was a great mix of shade and sun throughout the day with huge trees scattered throughout the campground. The county lake was only a short hiking distrants from the campground and there was a really nice 4+ mile walking trail around the lake. The park was in good/great condition along with the pool, bounce pad and playground equipment. The manager was very friendly and wanted to be sure we had a great time. We highly recommend Perryville Campground and be sure to visit some of the wonderful wineries and restaurants nearby.

My husband and I are full time RVrs. My husband is part of a travel team resulting in the opportunity to see a good portion of the good ol USA. As such we have experienced numerous campgrounds and met so many interesting and wondrrful people. Perryville campground is at the top of our favorite places to be list. We have enjoyed a variety of RV sites in Perryville campground over the numerous visits during the summer of 2019. The new owners and thier employees are quite welcoming and do all that they can to make our stay as delightful as possible. This includes:full hookup, really good wifi and internet access (esential for my hubby to be able to remote into various work locations), very clean laundry room, and country-chic public bathroom and showers. The campground office includes a small town style general store complete with a faux camp fire, lawn chairs and a skelleton (they are all set for Halloween). There is a section for rv supplies which have come in handy. The owners have taken customer service to a whole new level by offering a menu of food items prepared in the store and delivered rite to your campsite for a very reasonable fee. This includes my favrite, PIZZA! There are plenty of activities for families which include a crystal blue swimming pool, bounce pad, playground area, and on certain weekends there are hayrides. One Saturday evening we were entertained by a local band playing a combination of country and rock and roll music. The band was set up on the pool's wooden deck. It was quite enjoyable to listen to the live entertainment while people swam, sat in lawn chairs or liesurely rocked in the rocking chairs lining the porch outside of the office/general store. Not to mention the hotdogs, pizza, candy and ice cream purchased from inside. There are tent sites as well as several cabins available for rent. 3 of the smaller cabins are located on a catch and releaee pond. I've seen families hanging out on the cabins front porches while thier kids were fishing from the edge of the pond only a few feet away. What a great way to creat some really neat memories. There is also Perryville Lake a short distance from the campground with a connecting trail to a 4 mile hiking trail. This hiking trail goes completely around the lake. There are numerous spots on the hiking trail for fishing or just sitting on the benches provided along the way. I would highly recommend Perryville campground for an overnight stay or a get away or a family vacaton. This would also make a great place for a reunion or special events since there are 2 covered pavillions with picnic tables for rent. I'm looking forward to our next visit!
