The park is small but clean, spots are very tight for pull thrus. The price was great. Wifi didn't work on our site. Verizon cell service very spotty. I called the office left message after hours ( 6:10) to ask about the wifi, no one returned my call. We setup in the pouring rain. I believe we where the last one checking in for the day because you didn't see anyone after that.

We realize that it’s the “ end of the season”, BUT. this camp is convenient off of the highway, it’s needs a “lot of love” everything looks old, worn out and a bit run down. Staff was very friendly and the camp was clean. It makes for a nice one night stay, but do not plan any more than that.

Campground Response

We pride ourselves in a clean pristine campground. We work very hard to keep things updated and looking good and put a tremendous amount of love into every inch of the park. Not sure what is "old, worn out and a bit run down". We are proud of our campground.

Easy access to set up and get back on the road. The park had all you need. Located close to road, so noise level wasn't as quite as some parks. The staff very pleasing and went out of their way to accommodate. Wifi and cell signal not great, but they had Direct tv hook ups.

This was our first outing in our new RV. Nice quiet RV Park where we had a great time with our daughter and her family. A good many full time residents. We had lot 39 which is 50 amp full service. It is on the end next to the Dog Walk. We were there to run the Conquer the Cave 5K Run, which was also great.

Wonderful staff. They met us after hours to make sure we were situated. Very friendly and helpful. There is some highway noise but it was not a problem for us. The park is clean and well cared for. I would definitely return. WiFi worked great for us.

The sites were long enough for our 40’ rig but left no room to park the truck. It’s ok for an overnight stay.

Campground Response

Sorry there wasn't enough room for the truck, the site you were in was 70 feet long and I thought that would accommodate the rig and the truck. If you stay again, I can put you a longer site. Hope everything else was good. Thanks for the review.

Dawn met us on Memorial Day afternoon and registered us with our prearranged pull thru FU sites without any issues . Park was very quite with most holiday visitors gone . Enjoyed sitting by creek .

I can’t talk to anything other than level pull through site. Internet was spotty during peak times and Verizon barely had service. Everything closed because of Covid19. We came to get out of house and enjoy peace and quiet which is what we had also the price was very good. Enjoyed or weekend.

Internet is non existant, shower house and laundry room are both advertised on the website as being open. Neither are.

Campground Response

Sorry your stay was not as expected. We have fiber internet through out the park. If you had a problem getting onto the internet, I wish you would have contacted me so that I could walk you through the steps and make sure you connected. Our laundry room is never closed or locked. We have 3 washers and 2 dryers for our guests to use. As for the shower house, we have clearly stated on our website that they are winterized and closed from November through March every year. We are in northern Alabama and temperatures fall below freezing quite often during these months and we have to protect our water lines. Once again, I wish you had contacted me about your issues, so that I could have addressed them and explained. Dawn

Probably this campground would be more fun in summer - we stayed right after Halloween and the bathrooms/bathhouse were locked, the fitness and tanning were also locked. They did have one bathroom which was in a portable plastic cabinet - I mentioned some soap would be nice, and was told that when she put soap in there that people has stolen it. I understand that but a cheap wall mounted soap dispenser would solve that problem. It was also not possible to lock the plastic bathroom so forget taking a shower - of course no heat and it was in the 30's. Also in the 4 days we were there that bathroom was not cleaned - not even emptying wastebasket. The laundry was not clean and only one out of 3 washers were working. The Wi Fi was very spotty - up and down all the time. Our site was very nice - long pull through. As I said - I am sure during the summer this is a very nice place. Convenient location.

Nice little park, flat site. We were lucky enough to get site #39 which is a pull thru at the end so very private, lots of grass, near dog walk. As others have noted, close to Hwy 72 but since the campground is down below road level, the sounds are somewhat muffled. Only reason I didn't give them a 5 is that their "cable/satellite option is rather clunky - have to pay $2 extra and then plug in directly to TV. Have seen this one other place and unfortunately, it's too difficult for us to hook up. But otherwise, it's a great little park

Very well kept and clean campground. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Easy to maneuver and park. Sites are a little close and there is a little traffic noise, but not enough to be a problem. Close to many attractions.

Nice facility. Easy to find and get into the site. Had everything I needed. The pads are gravel and it is very close to US 72 highway. There is some noise from the traffic on the highway.

Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Office hours are limited but they are posted and the lady who helped us was available by phone. We did call her once and she answered immediately and gave us the needed information. Loved this campground and will stay there again if and when we are in the area. Highly recommend this campground!

Exceptional value for the price. Great stop over in route. A little closer to the highway but was given pull-through in the middle row facing away. Friendly owner who is there to help. Limited camp store times but owner runs the convenient store 1/4 mile from campground. Highly recommend this jewel.
