The Nenana RV Park & Campground is located in the beautiful Alaska town of Nenana and is a great spot for an easy-going northern escape. Campers can look forward to a breathtaking natural landscape filled with vibrant colors and thriving flora and fauna. Just beyond the campground, travelers can enjoy attractions like the Alaska State Railroad Museum, Alfred Starr Nenana Cultural Center, and outdoor adventures like zip lining tours, river rafting, hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, wildlife tours and sightseeing tours to enjoy. There's also day cruises, dog sledding, birding and ATV riding to take advantage of, plus a number of excellent local eateries, pubs and breweries to allow visitors to sample local flavors. Very nice park! Stayed 1 night in our way to Fairbanks. Bathrooms and showers very clean and updated. Quiet except for the neighbors dog ( outside the park) barking. Highly recommend!

Older campground with power and water. Convenient location. Clean but older bathhouse. Bring bus spay and mosquito nets. They were horrible.

Hi Dana! The campground was built late 80’s, like much of Nenana has its own rich history from at one time being a river slough area to the historic cabin office. But thankfully has been able keep up with the needs and have the trees grow tall enough to provide shade now! You are right, mosquitoes in Alaska are relentless! Bug spray, nets, the sun, and swallows are some of our best friends here! I hope your travels are enjoyable and you come again if ever in our area.

We had a 3 day reservation and left after the first night. The park needs a lot of work.

Hi Barbara! We are family owned and operated- like most people got hit hard by Covid but definitely working with each year to overcome some of those setbacks. Since our summers are so short, we are limited but working hard to make those improvements. Thanks for trying us out and I hope in the future you will come again and be more pleased here!

Our stay at this RV was very pleasant. The showers were very clean. The people at the park were pleasant, kind and very pleasant to deal with. we also enjoyed walking to Nenana and spent enjoyable hours in their pleasant town.

This was a clean, quiet campground right off of the main street in Nenana. Nice shower and laundry facilities. Not a lot of privacy as there are few trees between parking spaces, but clean and well cared for with nice management.

Great experience!! We were in nenana for the Fourth of July, 2017. The owners of the park were super friendly and accommodating. The facilities were clean. The power and water connections were in good repair and convenient. We took advantage of the mini golf and the free bikes. Both were really fun! The waste dump was clean and in good repair. I was able to pull my 43' fifth wheel through with no problem. This was a wonderful experience and I would recommend this park to anykne

I adore family owned and operated parks and very glad we found this one. The staff does a pretty darn good job at ensuring everything is nicely maintained and everyone is taken care of. There are many spacious sites to choose from with great amenities that took care of more than the necessities. The location is gorgeous as there are many beautiful views all around the area. There are also a lot of fun activities that were not only fun but was very relaxing for all of us.
