What a great place. Clean campground, bathrooms and the general area. Sophie,(the owner), was very warm and welcoming. Her staff was much the same. Magnificent pool and tub. I’d go again many times over.

Campground Response

Thank you Mike for your review it is really appreciated and we hope to see you again soon

Mundo Hot Springs was the perfect place for our family. We got to soak in the Spring fed pool on Mothers Day which was incredibly relaxing and come back to our site with full hookups right across from the office. The atmosphere is peaceful with gorgeous rolling hills and farmland all around. The staff was incredibly accommodating and sincere. We had a great time and highly recommend this gem of a campground.

The lady who checked us in was so nice and so helpful. She came and got our water set up and even lent us a long hose to be able to reach a better connection. She also made the best salad I have ever eaten.

Campground Response

Thank you so much for your review Sue, it is always appreciated - hope to see you again soon

I frequently visit Mundo’s Hot Springs for a lovely overnight camping experience when riding my bicycle on the Weiser River Trail. The folks at Mundo’s Hot Springs always provide a safe, clean and enjoyable experience for me —from the camp spot to the soaking to the bistro food. Their professionalism and friendly hospitality always brighten my bicycle journey on the Weiser River Trail. I look forward to visiting them again.

This is a great little campground/ RV Park. Very inexpensive, easy to find and nice hosts. Just a warning for those who haven't been there, they often have private parties for the hotsprings after 6 so plan to get there early if you want to soak.

We camped there in the off season and went to test our new trailer. The accommodations were limited (no water or black water hook ups) but still spacious and clean. The hot spring pool was VERY clean. It was clear the new owners take great care of the pool. The lower rating is for the unwelcome feeling we received. We did make a few mistakes while booking. We own them and the owners were able to accommodate (probably because of the off season). Not having hookups was fine, we could still accomplish what we needed to. When we turned on our water pump, water was coming out from one of the empty spouts under the trailer. Rather than see how she could help, the owner walked by and said it smells like sewage. Maybe she didn’t know, but as the only ones there, you’d think she’d stop to see if it really was and/or help rather than walk on by. Seems small but wasn’t the usual Idaho welcome we are used to. On top of that, we paid to camp there and still had to pay to go in the pool for a limited time. Other places we’ve been to that are similar don’t charge for use of the pool. We did interact with others that work there who were very kind and helpful. One woman did come out and help us try to troubleshoot our “leaking.” And, at times, the owner was too. Overall, it is a well cared for spot to camp.

Campground Response

We only offer full hook up spots after April 1st because of the weather conditions - all prices are posted on our website www.mundohotsprings.com. soaking charge for campers is a discounted rate of $5 for 2 hrs normally $10.

The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed a swim while our dinner was being prepared. The burgers were very good and the hot springs were lovely. We enjoyed the people we met and had a very nice weekend. RV spots could use more shade but overall it was a nice place and we would go back for the hot springs for sure.

Thanks for your review Beth we hope to see you again

The staff at Mundo Hot Springs are very friendly and dedicated to helping you have a good experience. They give great customer service and keep the place sparking clean. It is very clear that they work hard to do that. Where the facility falls short is how few bathrooms they have for those camping. Also, there are a lot of permanent residents there and although they have signs all over the place asking people to drive only 5 mph because of the gravel roads and close proximity of people and pets, the residents tear in and out of there as if it's the Indy 500. I was having lunch at my picnic table on a beautiful fall day and ended up getting a mouthful of dust that preceded by my sandwich because of a resident (who had a large 5 mph sign on his home) came tearing by, kicking up way more dust than he should have.

Nice little campground along the Weiser River Trail allows for a relaxing soak after a day of riding. We only wish that quiet time was better enforced and that there were more cabins ro rent. We would be back if we could drown out the noisy residents.

The people, facilities, pool, and RV campsites were all wonderful! My only disappointment was the hours of operation for the pool. I understand that noon to 8 p.m. is a nice 8 hour shift for employees, but a hot springs pool is best enjoyed early morning and late evening when the temperatures cool down, not during the hottest part of the day. We did enjoy our time there and will return Oct/Nov or Mar/Apr when days are cooler.

Very quiet and off the beaten path. Small towns around the area. An hour drive to McCall was beautiful lake area.

People were very unfriendly. Felt like they were doing us a favor to stay there. Mostly long term trailers.

Was a different kind of experience. RV Park was part of mobile home Park. Site was nice, we had shade, trees. Others are out in the sun on the grass. Hot Springs were almost warm. Hot Springs and warm pool didn’t open till 12 noon. And still have to pay to use the pool even if your staying there.

Enjoyable and good location for the bike trail but horribly disorganized which marred the visit. A few simple changes would help. Numbering the RV places in the field would help. Our friend took his van up the trail for the day and came back and his spot was taken by someone for example.

Campground Response

Our Apologies for the error that occurred, this situation has not happened before, we thank you for your suggestions. We were however able to locate you in a spot close by, so you were still close to your friends.

We enjoyed a nice bike camping trip at Mundo. It is a perfect stop if you are riding the Weiser River Trail. The pool soak felt so good after two days on the bike! We will definitely return.
