Lovely little RV Park close to Gila National Forest and Silver City. Amenities include clean and organized laundry area, bath and shower rooms (they are immaculate) ,water, sewer, 50/30 amp electricity and RV storage. Ray, the owner is an absolute delight to talk to and the manager Doug is friendly and polite. The RV Park is well maintained, the facilities are well kept and clean. It is a good RV Park for long or short term stay in Mimbres, NM. They have decent rates, per night, week or monthly but limited space availability, so make sure, reserve in advance. We parked here in a travel trailer for 8 nights and had a very pleasant stay.

Had to cancel due to RV jacks not extending RV in shop. Tried to cancel reservations 10 days before stay. Got caught between Roverpass and Mountain Spirits RV park with cancellation and refund. Ultimately charged $23.95. Contacted both Roverpass and Mountain Spirit

Best part of Mountain Spirits were the managers, Doug and Lori. Very nice people. Park was almost full and every unit there occupied by local workers who live full time in their RV. We were the only campers on our way to Gila Cliff dwellings. One occupant arrived home from work and left his diesel pickup running for at least 30 minutes even though we were sitting out 2 sites away. The semi truck in the site next to us started his big rig at 3:30 in the morning to idle while he got ready for work. The bathrooms were clean and heated. But, only 1 each for men/women. If you happened to need a morning bathroom visit and some local is in there for 30 minutes getting ready for work. Plan ahead.

Sweet little park. We were so glad it wasn’t a huge crowded park. We were on the end and our next neighbor wasn’t there during our entire stay. Gave us the illusion of privacy. There is an amazing amount of large vehicle traffic on the road which is right next to us. It really didn’t bother me when I was inside. The bathroom and office were immaculately clean. I really liked that it was close and convenient to many of the mountains and lakes I wanted to visit.

What a sweet little campground with gracious hosts! The bathrooms were immaculate and spacious and the grounds were well-tended. We enjoyed our stay. The WiFi was a little weak as we were at the end of the campground but it was doable.

Mountain Spirits is located in a lovely valley with great access to reservoirs and lakes. Unfortunately the rv sites are right on a road that has an amazing amount of traffic. We had to run the AC fan to drown out the noise. The office folks were really nice. We did not use any facilties due to covid.
