There are many things to do from this general location!  Wine tasting, White Sands National Monument, Space Museum, Cloudcroft - explore this small mountain community, Three Rivers Petrogryph, Valley of Fire, Ruidoso - which is a great vistior attraction to include: shopping, horse races, casinos, fabulous restaurants, and great scenery catching elk, deer, and wild horses.

Joann and Jack greeted us, Very friendly and helpful! This park is a gem, great hideaway, quiet, clean, well maintained. 3 night stay, definately stay here again.

Clean (no dust), very quiet, isolated, maintained, and very basic. But, if you're not a KOA type who needs the amenities, this place works well.

If you like a peaceful evening after a hectic day of sight seeing or driving, you will love Mountain Meadows RV Park. 42' rig towing a Jeep with no problem getting in or out. Management was friendly, helpful and even loaned us some sleds for dune riding. I highly recommend and would stay here again given the chance.

Secluded with a spectacular view. We didn't use the showers or laundry but I did look in and it was very clean and very nice. The couple that manages the property were so very nice and helpful! The park was small but full and very quiet. We borrowed a couple of sleds and wax they offered us and had a blast at White Sands! The wifi showed a signal but wouldn't connect even though it said it was connected...something about invalid IP address. We used our phones as a Hotspot so it didn't really matter. If you want quietness, solitude, friendly atmosphere, cleanliness and convenience of being in between White Sands and Cloudcroft then this is the place to be! Thank you for a great stay!

Really enjoyed our stay. Very reasonably priced. Showers were clean and washers/dryers new. Very quiet.

Heather OConnell

Very nice park. 2.5 miles off the main road, so felt nice and secluded, no road noise. Owners greeted us and were very nice. Only drawback was the wifi signal was so weak it wouldn't even show up on my device. We picked this park over the others in the area specifically because of the wifi. Bonus - they apparently have sleds you can use at White Sands.

Kathy Pierson

The on-site managers were very accommodating and kept facility clean and welcoming. My one complaint was the inadequacy of the WiFi. Despite efforts of the managers to strengthen the signal, the WiFi connection was marginal, at best. Otherwise, a pleasant stay.

Michael Connery

Great place. Very quiet, And, friendly owners

Kurt Nelson

Mike Elgin

Mark Rackish

Campground Response

Thank you for staying with us!😊

The park is off the beaten path, so you don't have that incessant traffic noise that you normally have. They have been very accommodating as our plans keep changing. Park is spacious and good areas to walk the dog. Close to several activities and any shopping you need to get done..

David Williams

Large pull-in sites. Quiet location a couple of miles off the highway.

Jeremy Verdolino

Awesome, quiet spot. Clean and the people are very friendly. Will definitely stay there again!

Melanie Lacour

Great and nice campground away from the noise of the main road and easy access. It was a nice surprise to find fresh towels in the showers. They also have complementary sleds available for the White Sands dunes.

Thomas Hurst

Very friendly and accommodating place.

Daniel Nowak

Very acomidating great Bathrokms and shower.

Pete Reynolds

Great quiet campground nestled outside Tularosa. Friendly people, a good mix of long term and short term campers. Updated laundry facilities and places for larger gatherings which were not happening due to pandemic. Only thing missing was an off-leash dog run which I hope the owners will consider adding in the future.

Jonathon Ringeisen

Great RV park! The only reason I left 4 stars was due to the dryers in the laundry facility. I had to run my clothes 3 times to get them dry, they can use an update. Luckily, there is a laundromat a couple miles from the RV park that has great washers and dryers. Internet was good, the people were friendly, all in all it was a great RV park to stay at.

Campground Response

Jonathan, Thank you for your review and we were glad to have you stay with us. Hope your back this way again sometime and you can use our new laundry equipment! We just got 3 new dryers and 3 washers. Thanks again for staying with us. JoAnn and Jack
