Misty Mountains Park is now a modern, hybrid RV park. We provide quality affordable housing for contractors and families who are enjoying the mobile economy. Additionally, we strive to provide traditional RV services for those that need short term stays, while attempting to be especially sensitive to "saving" spaces for vendors or customers coming to local events.

Chase Your Trail and Find Your Cheese at Misty Mountains Park, always a Gateway to Adventure, in historic Cuba, NY.  Rolling hills, lush forests, and the beauty of the Allegheny Mountains (often “Misty” in the early morning) are just a part of what makes Misty Mountains Park so incredibly special. Our resort is conveniently located near Interstate 86, about an hour from Buffalo and Rochester, and about three hours from Pittsburgh and Cleveland. The Park offers all our guests complimentary use of a dog park; free WiFi; pond with kayaks and paddleboat; public restrooms with showers; and laundry facilities.

Our Mountain Recreational Vehicle Park offers large campsites; our Family/Pet friendly park makes a perfect base camp for day trips to mesmerizing attractions such as the Great Lakes; the Finger Lakes; Letchworth and Allegany State Parks; the Zoar Valley; the Kinzua Dam and Bridge; the Triple Divide; and the Chautauqua Institute. Take a scenic driving tour, admiring the Autumn colors, the Winter wonderland, or the summer greenery, stopping off for a delicious lunch or evening meal in the many historic small towns.

The best part is that you will enjoy the great Allegany Wilds outdoors yet find yourself within walking distance of the historic Village of Cuba, home of the famous Cuba Cheese Shoppe and the Palmer Opera House. Nearby are numerous hiking/biking/multiuse trails; Cuba and Rushford Lakes; and many local artisans, including Amish.

Currently we have limited overnight and short-term sites available; it is best to make reservations through our website.

A bit spooky, zero contact with anyone. No one there to sign us in office was closed up tight with signs stating “ dogs will bite “ so friendly if your from back hills of Arkansas . We stayed there before when it was just changing hands so we came back . Not sure I want to come back a third time . Town was friendly last time we stayed but only there one night this time .

Great park for a short stay, second year there!! Don’t forget the Cuba Cheese Shoppe!!!! Easy access from Highway,

Campground Response

Thanks Ed! See you for the third in 2022.

Great RV park. Owner couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. Pet friendly. Just off Route 86 Interstate. Convenient East all the way to NYC or West to Erie PA. Park located only minutes from Cuba N Y- a quaint village with the famous Cuba Cheese Shop. You’ll also experience Amish buggies along the roads. A great park to visit in the fall to see the fall foliage.

Campground Response

Wow; just wow. As I respond to this one of my Amish craftsman "contacts" me. Thank you so much Michael!

It was a beautiful place and the town of Cuba was delightful. The park owner was really nice but the laundry room was dirty. Washers needed cleaning. The bathroom could be improved too. Dogs were happy. They were running free. Not so good for tiny pup that was attacked. Get a leash on your dogs folks.

Campground Response

Thank you for your honest review Leslie. The park is changing, growing. Yes, you saw some of our growing pains. Come back soon; the issues you discuss are being addressed. Come back and we'll do better! Bob

I had a awesome time the only fault I have is owner should follow the rules he has made for the campers like dogs on a leash owner should not let his dogs run free I watched as a little dog on a leash was attacked by owners dog and chase cars as they entered the campground

Campground Response

Sally, I understand. I thought I showed you the fence we are building for the dogs that will become a Community Dog Park. The little dog that was bit was a friends dog, and we are ok. Come back soon; GennySue, Cleo and I loved enjoyed meeting your 3 puppies. Family! Bob

Returned to a cabin for two nights after being away for several years, still a wonderful campsite/cabin/r v park. Bob was more than helpful with our dog accommodations. Many long term r v s we spoke with which is a good sign of a good place to stay.

Campground Response

Thank you David - I hope there is a chance to meet your Dad next year. Best to you! Bob

I was only here for 1 night...the bathhouse was clean and pleasant to use. Overall the campground was in good condition, and we were able to walk to town.

Campground Response

Thanks for the great review. Stay longer and you'll see why we always strive to be a "five."

Lots of contractors staying there long term with large trailers have taken all the sites with full hookup. It was quiet but had a fair amount of dog waste in the grass. Bob, the manager was nice and helpful during our stay.

Campground Response

Thank you so much Todd; an honest review. I am working on the dog waste problem. I hope us assisting you dumping without moving was helpful! Bob

John Schwertfager

Great little RV park. Not many amenities like you find at bigger parks but the grounds were well-manicured. The bathrooms and laundry facilities were very clean and there was a nice dog park to let the 'furry kids' run free for a bit! The owner was very nice and sociable. It's about 1/4 mile from I-86 and just South of beautiful Cuba Lake. Additionally, hiking paths and Cuba Cheese Co. is very close, too! Had a great stay!!! :)

Campground Response

We so appreciate your review - no pool, no restaurant, but lots of family (including furbabies) activities on site or nearby. Please come back soon!

Reuben Barker

Nice camp ground if you're looking for a quiet stay near shopping

Campground Response

Thanks Reuben! We are also conveniently located to many outdoor recreational opportunities. Having the village nearby is an added bonus!

Upon arrival was told that the site we reserved 2 months prior were given to the owners friend and another person that was a good “business decision”. Owner is arrogant and refused to compensate us for the lack of sewer on at the new site and proceeded to threaten my wife and I. If I didn’t have family coming from Michigan we would have simply left. Speaking with other patrons he also threatened and even physically abused others at the site. I have disputed a portion of the charges on my card to compensate for the lack of the sewer hookups I originally paid for. Do not recommend this site!!! I have a recording of part of the conversation as proof!

Campground Response

Michael, I almost called the Police on both you and Robert (you are father and son it appears). I explained the situation kindly to you, but you continued to threaten me. I was communicating with the last person in your party about the move, and at least she understood and is grateful for how I did my best to accommodate you. From an email "Hey! I didn't realize that this never went through earlier! My apologies, i missed an 's'. Anyway, while i can't soak for anyone else, we were definitely fine with wherever you placed us. Just send us a map. Thanks so much!" I am not sure who you were talking to about me physically abusing people. That is just a very strange statement for you to make. It seemed your family had a good time. I apologize for any misunderstandings. Bob

A little more personal contact would be a nice touch. Saying I am to busy every time I called is unexceptionable. Will not return.

Campground Response

Sorry you came at a time when so much was happening. If in any way I was not responsive to any problems you may have had, please explain.
