Chase Your Trail and Find Your Cheese at Misty Mountains Park, always a Gateway to Adventure, in historic Cuba, NY.  Rolling hills, lush forests, and the beauty of the Allegheny Mountains (often “Misty” in the early morning) are just a part of what makes Misty Mountains Park so incredibly special. Our Mountain Recreational Vehicle Park offers large campsites, with your choice of Pull-Through or Back-In parking or even cabin rentals.

Misty Mountains Park is conveniently located near Interstate 86, about an hour from Buffalo and Rochester, and about three hours from Pittsburgh and Cleveland. The park offers all our guests complimentary use of a dog park; free WiFi; pond with kayaks and paddleboat; public restrooms with showers; and laundry facilities.

The best part is that you will enjoy the great Allegany Wilds outdoors yet find yourself within walking distance of the historic Village of Cuba, home of the famous Cuba Cheese Shoppe and the Palmer Opera House. Nearby are numerous hiking/biking/multiuse trails; Cuba and Rushford Lakes; and many local artisans, including Amish.

Our Family/Pet friendly park makes a perfect base camp for day trips to mesmerizing attractions such as the Great Lakes; the Finger Lakes; Letchworth and Allegany State Parks; the Zoar Valley; the Kinzua Dam and Bridge; the Triple Divide; and the Chautauqua Institute. Take a scenic driving tour, admiring the Autumn colors, the Winter wonderland, or the Summer greenery, stopping off for a delicious lunch or evening meal in the many historic small towns.

Whether its for a short and or long term visit, there is plenty to explore around the area. We hope to welcome you soon!

Not much there but would pay no more than $200 a week for 50 AMP pull through-No cable, pool etc-very close sites- Like the people we met in the area. -especially would like our week when there are no Holidays-Quiet then. If there are construction workers there, it can be noisy in the morning-everybody is friendly, however. Very close sites for fires. If younger you can canoe in the pond! Gambling cassino nearby and Murdocks restaurant if they are open

We had a great time even though it was cold.

Campground Response

Memorial Day weekend was cold! It is so nice this weekend. Not fair! Come back soon. Joan and Bob

A little more personal contact would be a nice touch. Saying I am to busy every time I called is unexceptionable. Will not return.

Campground Response

Sorry you came at a time when so much was happening. If in any way I was not responsive to any problems you may have had, please explain.

We stayed for a week in a 44ft fifth wheel. Site was long enough to unhook and park tow vehicle in front and another pickup behind our trailer. Owners are on site and super cool. Lots of green grass everywhere. Dog loved the dog park. We didn’t go in the bathhouse but looked decent on the outside. We had no noise issues and couldn’t hear traffic or other noise from inside our trailer. 50 amp electric, sewer, water all good. Water had decent pressure and good flow. No cable or wi-fi. We will stay again if we come back this way.

Campground Response

Come back and we'll give you a free night because we did not communicate that we do have internet very well! Since we have no cable and cannot receive over the air TV Signals, we rely on our internet to "stream." The bathhouse just opened. And Springtime here is GREEN! Thanks for the review and we hope to see you soon. Joan and Bob

The owners of this campground are wonderful! We stayed here in our 39 foot travel trailer while visiting family in the area. Being unfamiliar with the campground, Bob chose the perfect campsite to accommodate our needs. The sites are large with a picnic table and fire ring. The grounds are very well kept and this is the first campground we have stayed at that gives you the option to recycle. It is conveniently located to the highway and is an easy on and off while towing your camper. I highly recommend this campground for atmosphere and friendly staff. We will return.

Campground Response

Thank you so much for your review. Please consider following us on Instagram and liking us on Facebook. When your family, or any friends you may refer, visit us next time, please mention this April 2021 stay and we'll be so pleased to comp a free night Sunday through Thursday nights. Joan and Bob

Owners were nice and helpful. Too close to highway lots of road noise all night. Our fire ring was so close to neighbors we could put wood on for them. Nice if you are camping with friends or family.

Campground Response

Thanks for your review Bob. Not much we can do about the highway noise, but if you come back and don't like the site, talk to us and we'll help you move to a location that suits you better.

Good place to spend a few nights, as always. Nice to see the new owners have placed a fire ring and table at each site. Bathrooms were clean and the water was hot. The new pond with paddle boat and kayaks is really nice!

Campground Response

Glad you enjoyed your stay, and and thanks for being a return customer. We hope to see you next year!

A small and quiet but very nice place. Wish we could have stayed longer. We only stayed one night as we were just passing through the area. But they were very accommodating and the updated grounds were beautiful and peaceful. Thank you for a great stay. 😊

Campground Response

Thank you Richard, and we are glad you noticed the updates. We plan to improve the campground noticeable each year. In fact, there will be a dog park near the pond by the end of September.

This park is lovely! We were only there for one night as we were passing through, but it would have made a great home base to explore the area for a few days. Easy check in, escort to our site, very clean and well maintained facilities. My toddler was thrilled with the ride on toys near the playground. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Campground Response

We are so glad your family enjoyed the park. Come back soon and explore the area!

Safe, friendly, and clean. Perfect spot for my camper van for a night when on a cross-country trip. Also, felt very safe as a single woman "boomer"! Added bonus: Ended up having a great phone chat with owner Bob. Mutual interests in non-profits with missions in social justice and equity!

Thanks Joanne. As we grow our business, we will always build keeping in mind our values, including social justice, equity, GREEN, and "[s]afe, friendly and clean."
