We had a great time at the campground! It was close to Notre Dame and we camped there after a football game. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were tent camping and were shown to our site. It was quiet and relaxing. We will go there again!

Awesome campground. Level sites even though there isn't much else that is level in the area! Friendly and very helpful staff. Very quiet!

All of the campers were very nice, really enjoyed playing bingo with them.. The activities were good. Everything worked fine no problem. I really like the layout of the campsites. The staff was very helpful and nice. To have a camper repair company on site was a plus!

Can you leave a less than 1 star review. Nothing on this site is accurate. Pool broke, put put broke, water constantly breaking then full of chlorine with no notice, dungeons are cleaner than the shower house, constant smell of sewage due to decapitated sewer system. The road is almost impassabley rough, and on top of that they constantly harass you. Complaints from the management constantly if you are active at all. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Webt there due to knowing a seasonal camper. They escorted us to our camp site, it was so narrow. The camper (who was a seasonal) next to us had a major water leak from there camper had our spot flooded so we had back the camper on further to try and avoid all the water. It was still so narrow we couldn't put our awning all the way out. Hooking up the electric and water was horrible due to the abandon site to our right literally had to be careful for not to fall. Then they had the nerve to call and say we were parked to far back (which luckily I didnt hear the message till monday) . We had to put a garbage can under the neighbouring camp site water leak to detour further flooding. The ground was so unlevel we had to get sinder blocks from our friend to make our camper level. We couldn't use the picnic table due to it being in a puddle of water. When we left we went to the office and showed them pictures of what we had to deal with and they did not care one bit. There are campsites that are nice in the park, but we obviously didnt get one of those even though we were friends with a seasonal guest. Also the pool was closed due to supposedly they just shocked it and had to wait 24 hours. The ONLY THING I CAN SAY WAS NICE WAS THE PEOPLE MY FRIEND INTRODUCED US TO. Cant say I'd ever go back.

Where do I start, pool closed, pulled up to are site neighbors had 2 leaks so are camp site was flooded full of mud barely had room to open canopy had to pull way back just to open it and get out of mud than the live in people complained we were over to much but we had a abandon camper so close on the other side so there was no where to go. Worst place ever. Dirty garbage all around are site, water smelled like sewage and sites were just so small and dumpy. As we left we complained and they really didn't care. ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS PLACE WAS THE PEOPLE WHO STAY THERE WE'RE VERY NICE. BUT THATS ALL.

Our camp site was terrible. We did not have room to even put our chairs out. No table or fire ring, but there was not space for them. The connects were on the wrong side of our site, which had them outside our door to have to walk around. We live only about 35 miles away, but will not use this facility again.

Site was extremely small, no cover on the septic hook up to the site so it smelled like sewage, the fire ring was rotted out and so was the picnic table. We spent about 4 hours and left.

I have stayed at many campgrounds during my life, this by far is thw worse one I have ever been at, they say they have level sites, my 42 foot fith wheel had the door side wheels over 6 inches off the ground to get it level, the picnic tabe was so rotten that we did not even dare sit at it, the center board was covered in green moss, the pool was closed, the staff says chemical in balance, other reviews say it is never open, the mosquitoes were so bad we coudnt even sit outside, the fire pit had several 100 cigarette butts in it, obviously they don't clean the pits, there was a sesonal camper across from us that was yelling at us for a picnic table that was in the roadway that was put there by the staff not us, even with that explaination she continued about the table. It was difficult to get to our site as we had to go thru thru the entire campground. The sewer hookups come out of the ground less than a foot from the water. I would not recommend anyone with a large camper to stay at this campground, the whole place is filled with seasonals except for a few transient sites. we only stayed 1 night if we were going to be there more than that we would have found another campground or a Walmart Parking lot. If I could rate it less than 1 star I would give it 1/2 a star.

Campgrounds were nice. Our neighbors were cool. They came and helped us unload and set up camp. The staff was friendly. The kids enjoyed the magic show.

Sites unlevel mostly full time residents, very junky. Website is deceiving. I should have read reviews first. Go a little father down to spalding lake, cheaper and much cleaner.

Well where to start? The place is a nice place for the most part as long as you are on the good side of them and in there little click. The new owner is trying to fix the place back up. They have a hand full too. There was a lot of white trash that was living there, they have actually started to get that clean up and getting rid of them. More then half the sites need something done to them such as electrical work or sewer pipes in the middle of where u park your RV. It would definitely go a lot better if they had better grounds leader. The grounds leader is absolutely terrible, he drives around in his own personal tan suv I say it like that because not sure of his name. The guy goes around and is always talking about sex, or bad mouthing people, even his own employees. For a example I over heard him tell another employee to go and sniff a chair that a female employee was sitting in after she had got up and left the room. Or making sexual suggestions to the female employees. Any other place he would have lost his job and possibly be facing sexual harassment charges. Maybe the park is waiting till he meets the wrong person and they go after the park for his actions. Ive spoken to others about him as well. They all got something to say. Some say how he's always smoking dope in his suv and bad mouthing everyone. Oh he is also ( yanking your rv out and puting it in their storage area if you don't comply ). Now the good stuff. The park has came a very long way since I stayed last year, it's clean all the sites up and a lot of new tables. Looks like they have done a lot of painting and trying to make more events for everyone. Quiet time actually means quiet time now, no more late night party's and crazy people. They are definitely a upcoming park with the new owners. On this rate in the next year or two it will be a great place to get away and relax. All the employees are absolutely super nice with the exception of the one guy, he is really holding them back.

Very friendly staff. Assistance provided finding your site and backing in. Campground was mainly permanent or seasonal campers but we felt welcomed. Beautiful location with fishing, pool, and playground. Perfect overnight stop for us when traveling with kids and dog.

Nice campground. Had a great time. Nice campsites and quiet. Only wish primitive camping wasn't $45 a night. High compared to other campground.

Our reservation email said check-in was flexible. We arrived 15 mins after the office closed (no where in the email did it say to call if arriving after 7), called the after-hours number listed on the door multiple times, left voicemails and no one replied. Got to the point where we just drove in and found an empty spot to set up camp. 24 hours later we got a call asking if we were going to show up for our reservation... Um, yes, we're already in the campground. There was trash all over, felt bad for our dogs because there was broken glass. Fire pits needed to be cleaned out. Thought maybe we were just in a part of the grounds that hadn't been opened for the season yet (because no one ever checked us in), but no because the next day there were other campers next to us (assuming they got checked in). The bathrooms were not good. My husband described the men's bathroom as "one step above an outhouse." I definitely did not want to shower there. Overpriced for what we got and not thrilled with our camping experience. If we lived closer, we would have just left.

Had a great time as always. Enjoy the band on Sat. Friendly and accommodating. Recommend stopping by here. Close to shopping and the dunes.

Upon first driving in the front office, pool and mini golf area look nice. All the workers were standing outside smoking. After checking in and being lead to our sites we were not impressed by the state of the grounds. We were placed in the middle of seasonal campers (many that looked junky/ broken down) The place just seemed very hoakie. One of our sites was with a gutted power box. We were told to plug into a neighboring seasonal and metered box. They did not inform the person it would be be done for the weekend and the person approached us unhappy. There is only one bath house(3 toilets/3 showers for both men and women) for the entire campground. Often the bath house was without toilet paper and paper towels. There are toilet bathrooms in the front office area you can see over the stall doors when walking in, it’s narrow and looks to be in the midst of construction. There were several activities for kids which was fun/nice the first 2 days of being there. I would not consider this campground family friendly as there was a 4 hour classic rock concert Saturday night that went until 10pm. It was hard to put young kids down due to the reverberating bass and noise until later hours. It also made it hard to sit outside around a fire and talk. The seasonal campsites tend to play loud music, and leave outside lights on throughout the night hours. There is a quiet time at 11 that is not adhered to. Often there are loud groups laughing and talking, golf carts speeding around past the quiet hours. There are walking trails and playgrounds but it’s hard to walk around with the rough terrain constant golf carts and cars driving. Our 3 campsites had trash littered all around from previous campers. One of the fire pits was and actual tire with rubber that’s unsafe to burn. Many of the seasonal campers throw plastic into their fire pits, leave their fires going (like blazing) while not at or near the site. There just isn’t the camping Courtesy from the seasonal campers, they don’t seem to be welcoming or warm to the short term/weekend campers. There is no real draw at this campground that would cause me to want to return.
