We stayed one night and left early next morning. Very clean quite. And loved the rolling hills.

This was our first time rv camping and I think it went well. Staff people were nice. Spaces were tight and not level but it wasn't too bad. I couldn't put out my awning because of the trees or really sit outside. The spot was pull thru on gravel. The rv sewage cap will be under your rv and the water pump you just pull up to use, not an actual pump. People drive golf carts around but the hills are tough. Walking up the main hill from the main office to the campground takes some serious strength. If you like hiking big hills or mountain biking this place would be perfect. Fished a little and caught a lot of bluegills. I would say 90% of people live here full time or leave their rig full time. Most people were nice but the lady next to us was pretty rude. We ignored her and she left us alone. I wish there were garbage cans around the site other than the main dumpsters at the very front. I didn't see any of there were. They were doing a lot of work to the grounds to make it pretty. Very dog friendly place. Nice and quiet all day. I fell asleep around 9pm and wasn't disturbed until people left for work early (8am) when their trucks pull out. Overall good campground.

My Fiance, myself and our two boys (10 years & 16 years old) stayed for the weekend. We loved this campground. We requested a private site and they delivered! The campground is quiet and clean. Tina in the office was wonderful. It felt like real camping...not a trailer park. We will for sure be making this our campground home. Can't wait to go back! The only drawbacks...the bathroom was quite a hike from our site, but we are resourceful. The boys didn't have any luck catching fish. And they were told they couldn't play mini-golf. But no deal breakers! The good out weighed the bad for sure!

Perfect location for our last minute Labor Day trip. They gave us the perfect spot. They do a lot of great stuff with the kids here.

Let me start off by saying this is the 5 camp ground I have been to this season and have been here twice. I first time we were in the Meadow over flow which is beautiful. Great place for the kids to run around and gives lots of room for them. The only down side is the bathroom situation. If you have to go there is a porter potty, or you can drive/ walk to almost the other side of the park and use the bathhouse. The second time we stayed in section W, this is good if you don’t have kids and just want a relaxing time. We stayed on a non holiday weekend and a holiday weekend. The seasonal people are nice and when it is quite time the park gets quiet (even on holidays) we didn’t have any problems with noise. The only problems we had where the disrespectful teenagers trying to ruin property and extremely inappropriate language in the pool since you only have to be 14 to be in supervised at the pool. I would change the age at the pool to prevent this from happening ( the pool is small so when you have 8 teenagers yelling curse words and sexual things it is hard to get away from it with little kids and blocking the middle section hanging on the rope). Other then that the campground is great family campground and will definitely be going back!

Did not stay due to the concert going to being cancelled due to COVID. Was told credit given but probably never use. I understand the cancellation policy but due to the circumstances should maybe consider a full refund.

I wasn’t really happy with the camp grounds. Seem to be very unkempt and in organized.

Our site was not mowed. Our site had no picnic table. Upon leaving the campground there was a crowd of police cars at the entrance. Very uneasy feelings leaving.

Campground Response

Hello Anne, we are sorry for the uneasy feeling leaving. There was nothing horrible that was happening. As for the picnic table we were unaware of that issue at a site if you would of informed us we would of gladly brought you one.

We were very disappointed with mini Mountain resourt we were on site J1 the faucet leaked everywhere and I mean everywhere there was split in the pipe, at the water turn on it leaked around the hose. The roads are in disarray there's a huge hole on one of the main routes, to get out there's a huge rock on the right side and the main gate sign on the left side. Very tight to get out, it was totally overcrowded we had no room to let our dogs out even though we had said we had two dogs we had to keep them on a leash the entire time we couldn't put them out on their leads not happy. We were less than impressed with mini Mountain resort

Easy to find on a main route east of South Bend. Staff were very pleasant and helpful; however, the owner appears to only be interested in the seasonal/permanent campers. The owner is not a people person. Didn't use the pool, but it appears nice. Overall campground needs updating and cleaned as many of the seasonal campsites are run down. Directional signs inside the campground need updating as hard to see and find at night.

Did not stay. Tried to cancel 2 weeks ahead of time. Was refused refund. Cancellation policy hidden below link to commit to reservation. Very misleading.

My two boys (ages 5 & 7) and I camped here two summers ago. It is within an hour of Indiana Dunes State Park (which is always booked for summer weekends). but we enjoyed camping there. Our tent site had water and electric, and we weren't far from the bath house. They even put us at the spot closest to the playground when I told them I had kids. I was able to set up camp/cook while the boys enjoyed playing. There were a lot of RVs you could tell were permanents and their sites were well cared for by their owners. Everyone was very friendly and I felt safe allowing my boys to wander. We enjoyed fishing, swimming, and playing pool in the game room. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
