Mescalero Sand North Dune OHV Area

Overview

Look forward to the spectacular sand dunes at the Mescalero Sand North Dune Park. The dune field stretches over most of the area and lends itself well to terrain cycles, sand rails and dune buggies. The dunes, mostly made up of quartz particles, are constantly changing and move up to a foot a year. There's also some unusual natural features such as shallow water pools and mature cottonwood trees. Visitors can enjoy this vast and beautiful sand dune for all the disc-surfing they can handle, and then look forward to quiet, cool evenings looking up at a clear, beautiful sky. 

Amenities at the park include: big rig access, RV hookups, pull thrus, laundry facilities and a dump station. You'll have such a great time here; visit soon!
