The Mesa/Apache Junction KOA is located in Apache Junction, Arizona, and neighbors the Superstition Mountains, which Teddy Roosevelt once famously called "the most beautiful panorama nature has created." Massive cacti decorate the surrounding Sonoran Desert floor, and visitors can look forward to nature tours, ATV drives, hikes and plenty of stargazing under clear skies. The Indian Ruins at Tonto National Monument is also a huge draw for campers, as well as the plethora of horseback riding trails near the foothills of the large mountain ranges. Phoenix is nearby and offers great attractions such as professional sports games, tours of the area's scenic routes, shopping, theaters, and of course, excellent local restaurants. There's also flea markets, hiking trails, golf courses, and lakes perfect for fishing and boating near the campground. With its warm weather and plethora of activities, this is the perfect place for your next Arizona getaway!

The campground features 100 newly remodeled campsites that offer full hookups, accommodates rigs up to 70 fee and is pet-friendly. Campers can look forward to free WiFi, a "Kampstore," a swimming pool, sauna, showers and laundry facilities. Hope to see you soon at this KOA!

Stayed here for a month. Wanted to give my $ by phone and check in a few days late. They would not accomodate my request....said I had to occupy or lose my reservation. Got there, nice place but WiFi does not work. Pool and Hot Tub are nice and warm.

We stayed two nights. FHU, level sites, sites are very close together. Park is large (100+ sites) many are snowbird/monthly renters. The water pressure is very low, the Wi-Fi never worked, and the noise of loud pick up trucks, motorcycles was constant. the views of Superstition mountain are spectacular. Was good for us to rest from driving the mountains, but that's about all. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
