Lost Dutchman State Park Campground

Overview

The Lost Dutchman State Park Campground is located in Apache Junction, Arizona near the gorgeous Superstition Mountains. The campground is made of up over 300 acres of sprawling red dirt and desert fauna, so look forward to hiking and biking these plains, and looking up at clear skies for stargazing. Several trails lead from Superstition Mountains and other nearby parks and into this campground but the Siphon Draw Trail is one of the most popular paths. While out exploring, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife like: javelinas, jack rabbits, mule deer and coyotes. Phoenix is just a short drive away offers great attractions such as professional sports games, tours of the area's scenic routes, shopping, theaters, and of course, excellent local restaurants. There's also flea markets, hiking trails, golf courses, and lakes perfect for fishing and boating near the campground. With its warm weather and plethora of activities, this is the perfect place for your next Arizona getaway!
