Skip this park! Check in time is noon. We arrived at 4pm went to the assigned space we were given online. Our space was occupied so we parked in a space a few spots over that had shown on the chalkboard at the entrance it was available. There wasn’t anyone available to ask for help. Finally a guy that doesn’t work for the park but helps out with issues goes to tell the person in our space to leave. It took multiple attempts finally at 5:15 he’s out. The one positive thing was the guy noticed the wasps nest on the hook up equipment & sprayed & got rid of it. Why we couldn’t have just stay in the available space made no sense to us. It’s a run down park & the garbage was piled high around the bins because it hadn’t been picked up. The mens room was under construction too. Overall a real dump!

We enjoyed our stay at this park, lots of shade, good for comfort, not so much for satellite, wifi only in office but we were not there to be connected anyhow so all good

Gordon Manion

Not well cared for. Cable was a mess. Cars parked were it was extremely difficult to get into and out of the space. No satellite tv due to too many trees that were untrummed

rich anderson

Lots of shade trees and wide pull thoughts. In need of maintenance such as rest rooms, broken water spicket, and weeding. Many permanent residence.

Teri Radabaugh

This campground is almost always full but that is due to many people that live on site. Super nice people but not a great plan for reservations. Make you move around for someone that might come in and never does. They need to just move people that come in to different site. Clean restrooms, close to everything, lots of trees.

The one bathroom that was open was nasty and needed a lot of work. It was old and falling apart

James Martini

I have enjoyed my stays at Loomis RV Park. It’s easy to check in not having contact with personnel. I very much look forward to our next visit.

Nice folks at check in-plenty of room -close to town/fine for one night passing through

Dan Rees

The people are friendly. The trees are nice, the park was clean except the rest rooms. Convenient location with shopping close by.

I've never left a review before but this place is filthy. The commodes had feces on the out side there was dried feces on some of the toilet seats. We mentioned it to a manger and it was the same the next day. The trains go by on one side and the freeway on the other. The sites were adequate and had lovely shade trees. Close to stores. Will never stay there again.

Rick Huckaby

Very nice friendly and easy to find

Brian Archibald

Nice park. Friendly staff! Worked well with us and our schedule of coming in. The park has year round residential units, so if you don’t like that, this is not a place for you, however, I didn’t think it was an issue. The spaces are large and shady!

The bad: I've stayed in much nice for the same price. Weird sewage smell if the wind shifts wrong. Bathrooms are dated and always flooded. Smokers in no smoking areas. Seems more long term. The good: Easy in and out. Located near many services, restaurants and shops. Staff lady was friendly.

Nice site quiet areaplenty of room easy in and out

I’ve stayed at nicer, cleaner places for the same price, but on the upside, the pool was nice on a super hot day. It was centralized and easy to get to. Kris at the reception was very nice and helpful. Didn’t act rushed and short with us, as some other places. The website makes the place look nicer, and it has a bit of incorrect info so be sure to double check. For instance, no more good Sam discount and weekend office hours are changed. Small bits of trash at our sight — cig butts, floss sticks not pretty to look at and didn’t want to touch it so pretended not there. Not going to let something like that dampen my fun. They have an enclosed area for dogs to do their business. Has supplies to clean up after the dogs, but a lot of poop everywhere telling us people just did not care. Never have experienced that before either. I did clean that up since I was waiting around for my dogs, and the scooper was handy. People basically real friendly here and although pool was small there was never more than one family there at a time when we went. Lots of floaty tots and comfy lounge chairs. We called last minute and got a space with full hookups (in July) so we were happy. Just stayed one night. Fairly quiet on a Sat night.

Thank you for your review! I'm going on poop duty today!

Pleasant management, decrepit site. More a trailer park than a campground with more long term residents than vacationers. WAY OVERPRICED for the amenities and location. If they don’t replace the dry rot, the office facade will collapse before long. Then there were the trains going by in the middle of the night.

mostly full time people living there pool was great . Bathrooms need to be cleaned better no one to check you in trees are great for shade could be a great place with a little work

We were in a lovely space. Gravel, not dirt! Lots of trees and shade. Close to Hwy, shopping and restaurants. Very nice staff! Accommodating!

Thank you for your review! We are happy you enjoyed your stay :)

Good place for a quick overnight stay good location a lot of long term riff raff living there which detracts from what the park could be.

First I would leave negative stars if that was a choice. Dirty grounds, dog poop left in my site where we walk, not a campground but a run down trailer park. Way way over priced at $61.00. To many people living there with their junk everywhere around their sites. Not a family friendly place for sure. No one ever in office when you need something. Would never go back.... My opinion is find another parks so you don't experience the same things we did....

Campground Response

I'm sorry you didn't see us at our best, I hope you give us another chance sometime. Thanks for your review.

Chris Ahrens

Not bad, but not great. Lots of permenant sites with people living there, not camping. Some a little rough around the edges. Not so family friendly. Also we got there just after five and the office was closed so we didn't get the bathroom code. The few people we saw didn't know it, which was odd.

Campground Response

Hi Chris I'm so sorry you weren't able to get the bathroom code, we have it posted with the after hours check in supplies. I will find a better way to make sure our future guests don't have the same problem. Thank you for your review.

This is a very nice Rv Park. Lots of trees and gravel sites. Clean, quiet and near lots of restaurants and Walmart. Very close to Sacramento, California. They do daily, weekly and monthly rates. We stayed here with our 32' MH . Loomis RV Park 3945 Taylor Rd, Loomis, CA 95650 (916) 652-6737 10/2014 ad’l comment: Still a decent place to stay and convenient to shopping and restaurants. The CG is located very close to RR tracks. Train comes by several times during night blowing it's horn several times. This is every night. Bring ear plugs. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

It definitely doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the average RV park, and that's exactly why I went. The entire area has a quaint, traditional feel, with a really back-to-basics charm. The site is pet friendly, so I brought my dog and we had a nice time walking around the park and strolling along the coastline. The amenities are pretty basic; you can buy gas, so that's convenient, and basically everything else you'd expect like showers, picnic tables and a laundromat. I'd say the biggest draw at this site is the peace. The air is super fresh up here and everyone is really nice and friendly. You can tell that they were all to relax, and so were super respectful in terms of noise levels. Really nice park, will go again. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
