First timers. Brought my 8yr old grandson for a camping adventure. He lived fishing, the miniature golf, pool and wet bounce house. Everyone was very friendly and we especially enjoyed the Christmas in July events while there. We’ll be back.

Campground Response

Glad you had a good time even with the heat and the storms that came through. Come back soon

I took my 4 grandkids tent camping over the weekend and we had a wonderful stay. It was a safe, clean campground with plenty of activities for the kids aged 4 to 12. We will be back!

I took my 4 grandchildren tent camping at Logan’s Gap and we had a great weekend there. The kids were aged 4-12 and there were activities for all ages. The bathrooms were clean and I felt safe taking them there. We will come again!

Campground Response

Thanks we’re glad you were happy and will come again.

The place is run down and they have more permanent campers there than weekend campers. Thier camping spots are to close together and they have no idea where to put you they had me in spot 166 and there was already a camper in my spot so we just found one to use. Plus the spots are not marked well. They have trails for golf carts if you have one that's nice. The sites were a muddy mess. The put put golf was runned down. They did have a barn dance on Saturday night but no kids so if you don't have a baby sitter with you you can't go. Everyone there was super nice. I think they are expensive it was 47.50 a night they don't allow a tent to be put up with a camper. But you see portable garages every where. So if you plan on having the kids sleep in a tent forget it. We will not be back. They have only one shower house and bathroom really inconvenient for the primative camping which I also reserved because of the tent thing that was 29 a night. Couldn't have our family camping with us in the same spot. There's no Port a potties in the primative area you have to drive up to the shower house. This place is not worth it. We actually left a day early.

Campground Response

Sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay. This campground opened in the 70’s and as new owners we are doing upgrades daily. We just finished the pool and 3000k on new grass for the putt putt the animal’s are out dated but we like them and so we don’t charge for putt putt just there for fun. Sorry you booking site number changed but on holidays we have to move people around to accommodate there needs. You family could of camped on your site if you would of asked us. But online doesn’t give you that option. Sorry if the campground was a little muddy but we did have rain all holiday weekend. We had activities for adults and children all wknd which other places don’t offer and the barn dance was open to all ages. Casino night was the only night kids weren’t allowed in.We do not like the look of porta let’s in our fields when we have a freshly remodeled shower/restroom house. We have 150 seasonal campers that love the place and started out as weekend campers like your self. We are one of them that came 14 yrs ago and stayed. Our prices are equal to any campground around who doesn’t offer what we have. So again hate to hear anyone didn’t like our campground but we try hard everyday to make the place better and keep people happy, thanks

We had a quick stay at Logan’s Gap Resort. We did not get to experience any of their activities but all of them looked fun. We really appreciated being able to add another night and coming in late for it too. The couple who checked us in were exceptionally helpful and we really appreciated their services. The only thing that we feel could use a definite improvement is to have better signs at the main highway and to the campground on Schoffield. Thank you again!

Campground Response

Thanks and glad you enjoyed your stay, We have new signs for the roads and they’ll be going up this week sorry for any inconvenience

Great place...Quiet and peaceful. Dated a bit but the owner still keeps up with it nicely. The owner was so helpful and nice. Went out of his way to take care of us and accommodate a bunch of new campers. The seasonal campers were all so friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay there again. We are going to make this one of our stops every year. Thank you for everything.

Campground Response

Thank you for visiting us, come and see us again.

Super friendly staff and pleasant stay. Unfortunately coronavirus had some amenities like the pool closed, but overall our stay was fantastic. The village offers some nice eating spots, like the Ripley Boat Club, but not a lot of shopping for other stuff. If you need supplies buy it before hand. If it's not available at Dollar General, it's not available in Ripley.

Campground Response

Thanks so much Brian!

Be very careful if you decide to camp here. The staff has trouble getting along with others. Make sure they put everything in writing. I was lied to all winter. Made a verbal agreement for payment last week. This week I received a message that we are not welcome because we might make some people uncomfortable. My whole life has been turned upside down. I sold my car to get a better camper. Now a lot of campgrounds are full. We have no place to go. My life would be in a good place if they had told me were not welcome when I talked to them repeatedly over the winter.

Campground Response

Sonya, when you didn't put a deposit down at the end of last season and your husband's last act was to rip off another camper, I fully expected your husband to explain to you why he could not possibly return here. When he did not step up, I did.

People were friendly, camp ground was unsightly looked like people lived there . Both nights at 930 pm till after midnight a camper played very loud music, no quiet time. Someone rode a loud dirt bike till 2 am .

Campground Response

I'm sorry that you were disturbed, Debbie. Our quiet hours begin at midnight and we do drive around checking the noise level, but we were handling an issue and weren't as thorough as we should have been. I am refunding the cost of your stay. I hope you'll give us another try in the future.

We visited mid-August, 2019. Fortunately for us, the primitive campsite was pretty empty and we had the place to ourselves. Thank you so much to our hosts who are so nice and helpful. WE WILL BE BACK.

Quiet campground through the week, good for overnight stay, but could use a little gravel on sites. Would stay again if coming through area. Owner and worker very nice.

Campground Response
