This is a very nicely run city park. There is a lot of lakefront but it is not too near the RV sites so there are not a lot of lake view sites, and none of the sites are right on the lake. The RV section of the park is in the back behind all the play areas. There are about 150 full hook up sites for RVs; water, electric, sewer are included. Only some of the sites have 50 amp. The website says the sites will accommodate up to a 40′ RV and they will, but if you have a long rig, there is not much room for your truck or toad. We have a 36 foot 5th wheel, and we can fit our truck sideways, but the tires have to go on the grass. We called the office to be sure that was OK and got permission to do that. The staff has been very friendly. There are also 22 sites with 16 x16 tent pads for tent campers. There are picnic tables at each site. Sites are paved and ours is level. There is grass in between each site and there also are lots of trees and large grassy areas. The park is quite pretty. A dump station is available. Showers are coin operated and very clean; so are the restrooms. There are several towers for free WiFi access and it worked when we first checked in this afternoon, but as soon as the park filled up tonight, we no longer could access it. The cable channels available are quite extensive. Since this is a large city park, there is beach access, a playground, basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball court, skate park, even a putting course and go cars, etc. but there is no laundry. We were told this is a very popular park in the summer and that reservations need to be made early for that season - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

This park was really nice! The staff was all around good, helpful, and friendly. There were so many different sites to choose from that would fit any rig. I liked how easy the hookups were and the water pressure was great. The location is really great as you don’t have to drive to go eat or shop! It’s a small five to ten minute walk tops and you can find a lot of places to explore. They also offer a good array of amenities and activities that will make anyone happy. I really enjoyed our stay here and can’t wait to go back. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
