Always a great place to visit. Beautiful lake, wonderful fishing and plenty of fun for my kids. We thoroughly enjoyed labor day weekend 21'.

I gave this only 1 star because the lake was right in front of our cabin. I found nothing else appealing about the campgrounds other than that we were right next to the lake. The beds are horrible, it is 3 days later and I am still suffering with my back. They have portable bathrooms, which would have been okay if they had been cleaned daily. The bath house was pretty much the same, the bottoms of the walls in the showers and the stalls were black, not sure if it was dirt or mold. We were there from Friday to Sunday and not 1 time did anyone clean anything. Most campgrounds have some sort of entertainment especially on holiday weekends. There was nothing of that sort here. You would think you would get a little bit better then this for $115 a night. No I will not be going back there again! I felt so disappointed after all the money I spent for the weekend. It was my husbands birthday weekend and I thought I was giving him a nice gift. No next time we will be going back to KOA campgrounds.

We very much liked campsite #1 overlooking the lake. The hosts/owners are really great and very accommodating. There are many seasonal guests so I’m not exactly sure how many sites are available daily. The one big drawback, and this may sound silly, is that the “sites” are NOT paved, cement, or gravel pads. It had rained constantly prior to our arrival as well during our stay. Even though we put down pads for more area coverage of our stabilizers and tongue, the 3 days we were there, our trailer sunk and required leveling numerous times. That one improvement could make this a 5 star park.

First time at this campground and we had a blast. A lot of fishing and the kids loved swimming out to the float. Each meal was on the grill by the cabin and we sat around the fire at night. The hosts could not have been more accommodating and we will definitely be back again!!!

Lake Chalet campgrounds was a great place for my annual camping trip with my grandkids. It was our first time there and the motel room was very nice although I am a bit of a clean freak and felt it could've been cleaner. The lake is beautiful and the hosts at Lake Chalet were very gracious and welcoming. We had to buy wood to have a fire at the community fire pit which I feel should be supplied if you are staying at the Motel. The grounds are well kept and there is plenty for the kids to do. They swam, jumped off the floating dock, fished, investigated the creek with our dogs, sat by the fire and played games in our room. It was our best camping trip yet and we have been doing this for 8 years!
