Jonestown KOA General Store & Canoe/Tube Rentals

I wasn't impressed with this campground. The older sites were not easy to back into. The patio pad is right in the middle and each has a picnic table and fire ring, which left little room for backing. The camp host of the day was a teenager who didn't have a clue about how to guide anyone in. In fact, the whole 5 nights that I was there, there wasn't an adult in site. It appeared to be managed and run by teenagers (summer jobs) who were more interested in trying to be cool with each other than customers. I asked a simple question about the wifi access, and it took two teenagers later to come up with the answer. There were some exceptions, though. Two of the kids were attentive. The sewer lines did not have proper covers, just loose bricks thrown over them. Sometimes the smell was pretty bad. The sites are extremely close together. You go out on your patio and you not only see the guy next door, but the one behind that and the back end of the trailer behind you. The patios lined up, so I was just feet away from the guy in the lot behind me. With the larger rigs these days...space was at a premium. The laundry was broken down and not clean. The bathrooms were a bit better.
