Rules

Bathhouse

Check out our new bathhouse! Men's is remodeled with 2 showers, 2 toilets, a urinal, and a 3 sink vanity. Women's is newly remodeled with 2 showers, 2 toilets, and a 3 sink vanity.

Winter

During the winter months the water is turned off. So our seasonal campers during that time frame utilize the newly renovated bath house. Electric heaters are not permitted, so propane furnaces within these seasonal campers are required.

Seasons

Our cabins are rented by the day or week all year round. Our RV and tent sites are rented by the day, week, month, or season in the summer time and they are rented by the season only in the Winter Time (November 1st - April 1st.) Please give us a call for seasonal reservations! We would love to have you stay with us!

Park Speed Limit

The speed limit is 5 mph in the park.

Quiet Time

Please be respectful of your neighbors. Quiet Time is after 10 pm.

Winter Seasonal Guests

All Winter Seasonal Guests must check out by April 1st.

Use of Canoe

We have a canoe that is available for use by our Cabin Guests (First Come First Serve)!

Extra Vehicles

Extra vehicles may need to be parked away from your site in our overflow parking, but we do have room!

Space to Park Trailers

We do have room for trailers if you are towing sporting equipment!

ATVs, 4x4's, Etc.

You can leave on your ATVs, 4x4s, bikes, etc directly from your site!

SHOWERS are coin-operated, $2.00 for 5 minutes. They do not mention this anywhere on the website. I would have paid more for the site not to have to go get quarters from the laundry mat in town and deal will a BS coin shower (do you have to be that cheap). Other than the showers the campground was okay. Good luck talking to anyone in person and if you do they will tell you to go through the overpass website.

It is on our website actually and had you read the signs in the bathroom as well you would have realized we have a coin machine onsite so you dont have to go to town. We have coin operated showers because we are open to the public and people with remote camps around us use them all the time. Why would I pay for that or make my guests pay for that when most of them dont use the showers? Yes everything is done through our booking platform online and the vast majority of our guests love the convenience of it and so do we.

Site 11 best view of the river! Wide open and level for our 37’ motorhome. 30 amp was a little light for our rig and potholes on the access road knocked out a 5 star review. Nice laundry and easy dump station.

Campground Response

Sorry about the potholes as you may have noticed we are currently under construction adding more RV sites and the fixing the road from all the rain this summer is part of that process. Some of the new sites will have 50 amp services for bigger RV's like yours so I hope you come back next year to see our project finished. Thanks for staying with us! James Welch Owner

Accommodations were perfect for us. Staff was friendly and inviting. Beautiful water views on site. Minutes from our hunting destination each day. Newly renovated bath house was clean every single day. Highly recommend.

Only issue was fellow camper with his own unit could not fit in his assigned site, so we had to swap sites. No proprietor around to okay our action but it all worked out. We’d definitely book here again.

With Labor Day ending seasonal camping, we found ourselves alone in the campground. We were backed to Moose River and the site was level and offered wonderful views. Showers are pay @ $2.00/5 min but modern and clean. Laundry was closed. Sites are good sized

Campground Response

Laundromat is closed to the general public, but open to campers staying in campground and people renting cabins. There is a sign at entrance of building stating this. Thank you for staying with us, glad you had an enjoyable time.

We love this campground. We use it every September when we take our new college majors to Jackman as part of their Wilderness Orientation. The campground is comfortable, with easy access to the local grocery store and eateries and is a perfect starting point for our annual Moose-Bow Canoeing trips. They are super easy to work with. Great campground!

Jackman landing is a 4 season campground in an outdoorsmans paradise. I knew the location was exactly what I wanted before arriving however I didn't realize that I would be able to kayak or boat right from our campsite as it's directly on the moose River which was a huge hit with my family. The camp is very atv and family friendly, we were able to ride our razor from our site to just about anywhere in the western maine mountains. I will be back.

small campground with nice level spots. mostly seasonal campers. Not a lot of shade but with the cool Maine nights it's not that important. The laundromat onsite is super convenient. Bathrooms are recently redone and very clean. My only gripe is the silly pay-to-shower. $2 for a 5 min. shower just seems silly and cheap -- the campground is going to pay for the water and electricity one way or the other (by heating the water in every camper) so why not just drop the inconvenience. If it's about controlling access there are FAR better ways to do it. This was the only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5

We arrrive at 8 pm, impossible to register and talk to a human being. Showers are 2$ and we cant get money anywhere not even the morning after at the office. Sites were almost flooded.

Campground Response

Coin machine on the opposite side of the bathhouse in the laundrymat, theres signs all over the bathroom that say that. No need to talk to anyone we are self check-in. We've received about 20 inches on rain in the past month everything is flooded in the whole state.

Nice little spot at the junction of highway 201 and a river. The river is quiet, the highway is not always. We were tenting so no buffer from the trucks rolling through town or the local howling dog. If one was in a trailer or one of the cabins, one might not notice it at all. The tent sites by the river looked beautiful, ours was on a soggy patch slightly further back. Private, but moist. The bathrooms were new, beautiful although if one wanted a shower one would need a handful of quarters. All in all, the negatives were outweighed by the positives. Any outdoors person would like being that close to the river. And it was very convenient for someone traveling through, like myself.

Clean and quiet campground right on the water. Friendly hosts and neighbors. Grocery and hardware/bait/camping supply stores within easy walking distance. Jackman is a really nice little town.
