Welcome to Indianhead Resort! Quiet, relaxing, peaceful– this is one of the few campgrounds where the classic tradition of camping, resting and relaxing amidst the quiet sounds of nature, has been preserved. The forest, in which its many campsites and motor home sites nestle, features hills and plateaus with vistas across the campground and out toward the sea. There is a mix of grassy, sunny, safari sites and spacious wooded sites which offer an outstanding camping experience for tents as well as RV’s of any size.

We are only 4 miles from the Sagamore Bridge and 10 minutes to downtown Plymouth where you can explore the Mayflower II and Plimoth Pawtuxet Museum. Avoid the Cape Cod traffic with us with so much to do and experience in the area!

We have been there 4 times in a row. Although they have no cable or WiFi, it's very wooded and usually quiet. They are dog friendly and I usually bring my 4 chihuahuas and it's not bad pricing. I use my Hotspot on my phone and stream anyway so I have a firestick or Samsung TV programs as well as Netflix so I don't mind. I have never used the showers ,the rest rooms, or the laundry facilities so I cannot comment on those. We go there just to get away with our travel trailer. overall, it's a great place to get away.

I'm only giving 2 stars because the bathroom facilities are very gross and we paid for full hook-ups but when we went to dump into the pipe, black water came back out and got on the ground because the pipe is clogged. The quiet was great but the site we were in had 3 sites in one small space so if there were other campers, we would all be in each others site. Office wasn't open when we checked out at 10:30.

Is the price/performance ratio right? Not for sure! The sanitary facilities are dirty (we haven't seen them cleaned in 4 days) and outdated. A lot of the campers are out partying, so you can forget about peace and quiet.

The sites are nice. Bathhouse would need a renovation and I called 2 times, nobody picked up. Then I left a message to call me back but no one did.

Nice park and lake. Eric and the other hosts were great! It wasn't the best site cause it had a steep hill, but it's the one we picked. Many other sites were level and large.10 minute drive from Plymouth Rock.

After reading all the reviews I thought I would give this place a shot anyway. The campsites are nice and clean, plenty of trees, when we went it was not that crowded but if it was crowded you would be on top of each other. I would book online where you can pick your spot and make sure there is plenty of space around you. The beach swimming area is very small, if there is more than one group there is hardly enough room to swim. If you are there by yourself is very peaceful. Pond was nice -we rented a kayak and paddled around for a couple of hours and tried some fishing, not sure if there are many fish in this pond, we didn't find any. The bathrooms are pretty rough - doors are broken, some of the sinks don't work, toilets hard to flush, the drains in the showers don't drain very well. I don't expect much from a campground bathroom but this was not acceptable. The store is very basic, take all your supplies, plenty of wood though. The playground looked like it was from the 80s - my kids had never seen a see-saw before!

Great setups, very beautiful landscape with privacy however, not much to do other than being one with nature…., Need to have a plan with interest if looking for something more than basic RnR. Bathrooms are best used in AM after the cleaning. However, non-living bugs, spiders and webs could be removed with a broom…that would make feel much more comfortable

I would like to thank the owners for the perfect service we had and for the attention given especially to the children, we had a storm forecast with winds that in the end was just a scare, the place in question is great for those who want to rest, close to the beach, water park and the beautiful city of plymouth which has many types of attractions and excellent restaurants. Thanks again everyone at Indianhead.

Noisy neighbors all nights. Toilets and showers were dirty and in such poor condition that doors were impossible to lock. My camping site was clean and well laid out, but the wood of my picnic table was rotten.

Very nice for what it is . It is more for full timers . Nice location . Close to the Cape . Traffic is as bad as it gets . In the woods . Nice big pond . Would stay again . No negatives .

Awesome experience; such a great campsite. Super friendly and clean. You have access to other activities near by. I had a blast over the weekend. Definitely recommend going; we will come back next year.

Bought wood and a worker came by in a golf cart to deliver it and we were told that our cars were on the "fire road". The worker wasn't satisfied with offering to move the cars because our site had "too much" stuff. I booked the site for six people and had two tents and two cars. Wouldn't leave until we bought the adjacent camp site at 930 at night and moved all of our stuff three feet off the "fire lane". How embarrassing trying to take your friends camping and them having to pull out their credit card in the middle of the night. Spend your money elsewhere.

Super friendly staff. Our site was particularly small, but had full hookups. Nice clean grounds, needs some updating but overall we had a great stay!

This place has a lot of potential that it does not live up to. The roads are made of large stone and wash out in the rain, making it difficult to get up and down the large hills. Our site was right on top of our neighbors, which was not easy to back in to. The bathrooms are disgusting.

The Indianhead Resort is a nice place, we liked the attention of the staff, and cleaning the bathrooms, but we had some drawbacks. The shower water was very hot and could not be changed. The camping sites are very close and there is no privacy. I hope you take these suggestions. Thank you.

Older campground w/mature trees & vegetation. Spaces vary widely - some quite isolated and others with close neighbors on both sides. Their 30amp service was dirty, causing my surge/LV protector to shut down power at 105v several times a day. We camped there for 2 weeks in a 40’ fiver

Campground Response

Hi Charlton, we're so sorry you had that experience. We did have our camp electrician go over and check the power and voltage. It read 115 volts. We do recommend using a 50amp service to avoid that issue. Please email us at indianheadresort@outlook.com with any questions and to please let us know how we could have improved.

The campground is huge! Almost all the sites are shaded under well maintained trees. Most sites didn’t seem to be level so make sure to bring enough to level your camper out. The access to the pond/lake is only accessible by foot or small ATV. The campground is close to everything, right off RT3 and easy accessibility w any type of camper.

Campground Response

Thank you Christina, not every site is level but we do our best to make sure you're in a site that would accommodate your rig. Thank you!!
