Indian Mounds Campground

Overview

The Indian Mounds Campground is located in the beautiful town of Hemphill, Texas and is the perfect spot for an idyllic southern vacation. Onsite, travelers can look forward to a breathtaking natural terrain on the water's edge, and plenty of opportunities for paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and hiking. There's also a thriving ecosystem, perfect for wildlife viewing. Campers can look forward to great activities just beyond the campground including the El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail, the Patricia Huffman Smith Museum and the Sabine County Historical Jail Museum. There's also Mudfish Adventures which provides opportunities for paddle boarding, fishing, boating, canoeing and kayaking, and of course, after a busy day having fun, visitors can look forward to dining in one of the area's many local eateries.
