Hunnewell Lake Conservation Area

Free camping , free boats . No elec or water and a pit for bathrooms . I have camped here many times and enjoy it very much . Great fishing . Plenty of crappie , channel cat , bluegill and largemouth bass . A word of warning . Area managers treat bass like personal pets . They measure legal sized bass and make them appear illegal then hand out fines . Be very careful when putting bass on a stringer . If someone wants to measure bass ask if they want to see your license . If they say no then they are not conservation agents and have no business handling your legal fish .
