Honeycomb Campground is owned by the Tennessee Valley Authority on Lake Guntersville, and it offers 113 short term and long term stay sites. Most of these sites have electricity and water. There is a dump station on-site and a pumping service is available for campers who would prefer not want to move their RV. The campground offers a newly built general store and laundry room, as well as newly renovated bathhouses offering complete privacy. And of course, there is wheelchair access to all areas. Most of the short-term sites are located on the waterfront and all of the short-term waterfront sites have 50/30/20 electric and water hook ups.
For family fun, there’s Cornhole, excellent fishing and boating. The area is very green and surrounded by gently rolling hills, most of the pristine lake shore is controlled by the TVA and free of development, making the natural terrain perfect for scenic viewing and exploring.
Only a 20-minute drive from major stores and restaurants. They include Hardee’s Burgers, The Docks, Dot’s Dairy Den, Jack’s and Aqua Restaurant. And for shopping, the town offers plenty of major outlets including Wal-Mart, Belk and the Southgate Shopping Center.
Sounds like a great place to spend some time away from the daily grind. Hope to see you soon!
