Chad Franke

Campground overall is good, but not very dog friendly, with sandburs all over my do wouldn't leave the gravel.

Richie McMurry

Great over night place! Office people are wonderful. Grass is always cut and sites are level and clean. Way in the back behind the full timers they could pick up after their dogs. Land mines everywhere when we walked back there! We stayed overnight in an airstream trailer.

Campground Response

Glad you enjoyed your stay, Richie...not including the "land mines". Yes, it is an unfortunate result of people who won't clean up after their own pet combined with cold, windy and snowy climates. We wish you had come talk to us about it when you were here. Please know we are very approachable about any frustration you might be having. Nonetheless, it's cleaned up now. Thanks for letting us know. Safe travels!

I really close to the exit ramp on the interstate and it very loud.

Campground Response

Sorry you found it too loud, Glenn. Some people do and some don't really hear it at all. Either way, I'm sorry. You have a safe trip!

Great park, friendly staff!!!

Campground Response

Thank, John. Glad you enjoyed your stay! Enjoy your travels!

Bathrooms nice. Hot shower. Our site was actually a road and made me feel unsafe. No picnic table to block us from people driving thru site.

Campground Response

I'm happy you enjoyed our showers, Pamela. Sorry you felt uncomfortable in your site but that site is not a road. There's just no grass growing next to it so it may feel that way. There are traffic flow signs on the side road leading to that site and on the map. We've not yet had anyone go the wrong way and if they do they would be going so slow that there's no way they wouldn't see a rig parked in that site before hitting them. Safe travels!

Nice campgrounds and very helpful staff. Clean restrooms. Tractor trailer noise serves as a good alarm clock in the AM.

Campground Response

Thank you, Daniel! Sorry about the jake break noise. They know they're not supposed to do that and there's really no reason for it, but they still do. I wish the cops would start issuing tickets. Anyway, safe travels!

It was great to find this “oasis” in Oakley Kansas, especially since a blizzard was forming. Jana and Andy were very welcoming and there is a huge library of dvds you can borrow from. And the bonus was: right next door was an amazing Mexican restaurant Tres Hermanos. Fabulous food and large margaritas.

Campground Response

Thank you, Kathryn! We are happy you found us a safe place to weather the storm. Our managers, Jana and Andy, are indeed wonderful people! We're also glad you enjoyed Tres Hermanos...we love their fare as well. Next time you pass through you should try our pizzas made at the cafe behind the office. We have some really neat recipes! Enjoy your travels!

We stopped for one night well travelling through the state and it was a good spot for an overnight. This park is just off the highway but the traffic noise was not too bad. The host are very friendly and welcoming.

Campground Response

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and that our hosts greeted you warmly. We look forward to your return. Enjoy your travels!

Great spot to park at. Internet was excellent.

Campground Response

Thanks, Todd! Not so long ago the internet was sketchy, so we put some money into the equipment and "voila"...some people have even said it's the strongest internet they've ever had at an RV park! Enjoy your travels!

Campground Response

We're glad you enjoyed your stay and found our park managers so wonderful. They are indeed wonderful people! Looking forward to your return!!! Enjoy your trip!

Campground Response

Thank you, Keith. Safe travels!

The park was easy to get to, clean bathrooms, and people were very nice. Nice pull through lots and easy to exit.

Campground Response

Isn't that such a great attribute about our park! I know when we travel it is so unnerving to try and "fit" your rig into some of the tight spaces that are offered. Our sites are very wide, flat, long and straight with virtually no obstacles and the exit is a seamless pull out and follow the wide road out. Have a nice trip!

Lynn Hupp

Very nice campground with good amenities. Clean bathrooms/showers. Well-equipped laundry room with puzzles, books, DVDs to borrow. Cute cafe with great pizza! The owners are working to improve things and they are so nice and welcoming.

Campground Response

Thank you, Lynn. Yes, we are very proud of our park managers! Great people! Thanks for recognizing our steps to improve the park. Enjoy your travels!

Right off the interstate and main highway but still quiet. Clean facilities. Roomy and reasonably flat gravel sites.

Campground Response

Thank you, Tom. Safe travels!

Place was exactly as described and was a perfect spot for me to stop alongside the interstate overnight!

Campground Response

Thanks, Bryson. Enjoy your travels!

It’s right next to the highway, so it’s a little noisy but we were in the back. Most of our neighbors only stayed for a night or two which left us alone most of the time and it was a wonderful change from being surrounded by people! There are also bunnies everywhere and it was cute to sit and watch them.

Campground Response

Glad you enjoyed your stay, Alyssa! We love watching the bunnies play too!
