Let me just say the website is nothing like the campsite. This is the worst nastiest dirtiest scummiest rundown Campground I've ever been in and I would not recommend it to anybody. There are abandoned filthy campers and vehicles all over the campsite the people look like they haven't had a bath in months don't comb their hair wear dirty clothes it looks like a reject farm for inmates. I did not feel safe there it was not a comforting relaxing environment it was tense and unsettling and I will never go back there. I wish I would have read the review before we came but it was so late we had to stay here never again.

First I want to say that this campground has potential. Having said that, I hope someone takes it over someday and make something of this campground. On entering, I think we heard dueling banjos. Run down and deserted campers all through the campgrounds. Blue tarps on campers roofs throughout the sites. Because of the Joliet race, most campgrounds were full and we were forced to stay. We made the best of it but it was an experience we won't forget. Stray cats all over. The area they put us was tolerable but I don't think we will be returning. The grand finale was on our last night as we sat around our fire and a skunk strolled through our site. Our site was a full hookup site and I will say that was a plus and the site we had was pull through and ample for our 40' 5-th wheel. Can easily say, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
