Stopped for one night June 26, 2021. Easy to get to off the interstate. Nice clean quiet park. Easy pull through site and did not have to unhook tow car. Host very friendly. Nice showers and restrooms. Would definitely stay here again.

Good for an overnight. Pull thru, but barely long enough for 43ft 5th wheel. Had to unhitch and hard to find room for truck. Power solid and good water pressure.

Loved it. A sweet family runs this park and they keep it very neat. We just needed a safe, clean spot and Brootheel's was a lot more. We really enjoyed it.

We arrived at the camp after 9 hours of driving, looking forward to being able to relax for the night. I knew from reading other reviews that the office wouldn't be staffed this time of year, so I got my reservation info out of the after hours box. On the envelope was a hand written note saying to NOT connect to the water. No other explanation given. Given it was late December, I could understand not wanting us to connect if it was going to be below freezing at any time. However, it was not forecasted to be. Not knowing the reason behind their request, I did not connect. Luckily we had put some water in our tank before leaving our previous campground. Still, I paid for full hook up, but wasn't allowed to utilize the full hook up. Secondly, the map they provided was terrible. Worst one I've seen. Third, we picked this location for an overnight stop because nearly all sites were pull through and I was confident I would get one there. The site was barely long enough for my RV with toad (Ford C-Max) attached. Walking my dog the next morning, I saw that all of the pull through sites were pretty short. I go to connect electric and sewer only to find out all the connections were at the far end of the site. My 25' power cord BARELY reached the box. I didn't bother even trying my sewer hose because I knew it wouldn't reach. Before we left the next day, I backed up so my sewer hose could reach the hook up and emptied the tanks. The car was sticking out in the road. Luckily no one came through for those few minutes. Also on my walk with my dog, I noticed a pile of junk on site. It looked like remodeling trash. It also looked like the owners use the campground to store a lot of their personal stuff, like utility trailers and such. It made the place look junky. Bathrooms were decent. I didn't check out any other facilities. In general, I'm not likely to stay again, especially if I have a toad.

No maintenance at all to the sites. We arrived after some rain during the day and the experience was terrible.

Campground Response

Sorry that you had a terrible experience Jorge. We have received a lot of rain from the hurricane & haven’t been able to mow for a spell. We also have a lot of construction in progress that has been put on hold due to construction as well. Hope you can stop by again & everything will be cleaned up & much better! Safe travels.

Sweet campground. The staff met us at our full hook-up pull-through site and were very helpful With the check in. Park was clean and spot was level. It was right off the I-55 which was convenient. Pay attention to their directions because your GPS will try to take you a different direction. We stayed in a 36ft. motorhome and would stay there again.

We really liked this park. The sites were level and the bathrooms/showers were heated and very clean. The office was closed, but the maintenance man was very friendly and helped us to our site. The only thing we did not like, is that even though the campground guidelines state that pets should be leashed and cleaned up after, some of the campers let their dogs run free. We also had dog poop on our site. Overall, we were satisfied with this campground and would stay here again if our travels brought us this way.

We stayed on site 41 overnight. The space was level and easy to use for a 43' 5th wheel. There is no one in the office on weekends but self checking was simple ( we also had a reservation but check-in was the same process.) The entire park looks well kept and like someone cares. I would stay here again.

A nice rest after a long drive. Don't fret if you see it off I-55, there are exits several miles past, where you can double back, if required. Jaden, the young man who checked us in, also helped me connect to the WIFI , which worked well enough to watch the 1 youtube video, I was interested in. My level wasn't perfect, but the bubble was between the lines. Most all sites looked similar. Water pressure seemed high, recommend a regulator. Looks like some sites share a picnic, but the maint man seemed happy and eager to help. He greeted all campers to see if they needed anything. The pool has been filled in.
